Trip Journal: New England and Ontario, Canada!

In mid-June, I took a Friday through Tuesday trip where I drove through New York City, over to Rhode Island, up to New Hampshire, across Vermont, to Toronto and Niagara Falls, and back home.

My main goals were: to drive in Manhattan, to set foot in Rhode Island, to actually go to Vermont, and to visit Canada twice.  And I wanted to drive this time, partially so it'd cost less than my last trip, but also so that I could catch up on listening to more of my podcasts.

This is my day-by-day journal of the trip.  I tried to trim out less relevant tangents, while still capturing all the different major facets of the experience.  Overall, it was quite a bunch of experiences, and hopefully that comes through in the recording.


Note: I'm wrapping up and posting this on Sunday, July 14th.  Given the tragic political event in Butler, Pennsylvania last night, I considered holding off on uploading this in order to save more of my current month's upload time allowance for a discussion about that.  But it probably won't be convenient to record a discussion about that until this coming Thursday anyway... plus it's still early and this is the type of thing where one really should get one's thoughts and feelings together first.  So, for now, hopefully you'll enjoy this.
