The battle is over—but the mission isn’t.

After cutting down a gnoll pack and rescuing prisoners from the cave, Annabel, Quinn, Miller, and Thelandor return to the outpost with a fragile sense of victory. Survivors have been saved. The threat has been pushed back—at least for now. But as morning breaks, one question refuses to fade…

Miller is the first to say it out loud. If there are more survivors from Norvale lost in the wilderness, time is running out. The gnolls are still hunting. The cold is closing in. And every hour that passes makes survival less likely. 🩸

With Amelia recovering in the chapel, the group makes a decision—to ride out one more time.

Annabel remains sharp and cautious, Quinn follows with quiet resolve, and Thelandor steps once again into the role of guide. Whatever waits beyond the outpost walls, they’ve already seen enough to know it won’t be easy. ⚔️
