Welcome back to The Gathering Tabernacle Podcast. Today's episode we have Evangelist Tod Hill being obedient to Holy Spirit because he is a living vessel as we all should be. When Holy Spirit moves, it's hard to follow instead of lead but it is what God calls us to do. Jesus never promised smooth sailing, but He did promise joy in the journey and a safe arrival to the other side. You can't ask too big of things from God. Maybe lately you've been hearing your worthless, trapped, a terrible person, helpless, disliked, disrespected, or want to die. If you've been hearing these thoughts I encourage you to take a listen and remember that Holy Spirit isn't just Holy Spirit and fire but Holy Spirit and fun. You've forgotten the joy that Christ freely gave. Are you ready to receive? Are you ready to escape the lies and learn how to fight against the enemy?

The hunger that comes from this church is not like uh you don't see it in a lot of churches. You really, really don't. It's authentic. That's what I kept hearing all weekend was authentic. Authenticity. You know what I'm saying? We are we we're supposed to be authentic men and women of God. Because there's enough people out there that claim it, they yap it, they say it, but they're not living it. They're not truly living out what they say they are. And it's just it's humbling, it's honored to get to be with the men and women that uh that have gone through some things, you know. Now it's time for rebirth. Now it's time for regrowth. You know what I'm saying? Bishop quoted the scripture last night, man. I've been put on a scripture. It's in uh it's in Job 14, 7 through 9, I do believe. It talks about the tree, though it may be cut down, you know, and it's stuck in the ground, but yet it's a tin of water, you know, there's new life. It said, though it can, it could cease, it could die, and we could very easily, after the things we go through, though it looks like it may die, though it may look like it's it's over or it could be finished, but it's a tin of water. There's new life. And I believe that this is a new season of water, you know what I'm saying? I believe that there's gonna be new life come up out of this turn. I believe Missouri is gonna be changed by what springs forth out of this out of these services. I believe that. But again, my name is Heath, and I'm honored, I'm honored to be here. And uh I thank y'all for your hospitality, and it's heartwarming to be here, and I really, really do hope to get to see y'all again.

SPEAKER_12

Amen. Hallelujah. And then I told him, then you get them up and you encourage them and tell them to get up, so come on back up here. Aren't you glad to be here this morning?

SPEAKER_11

Aren't y'all glad to be here this morning? Yeah, yes, John.

SPEAKER_13

The kingdom of God is that kingdom of God.

SPEAKER_10

Ishama, you should have my shallow my tea, you should have you shall the bayakomaiti, you should of a home, ishabaya kai not, you should have home, opayati ayato, ishabai, Iotomayai, you show up a yato, a hai tie, ishovaha, you tomayato, isha my tea, ishabai.

SPEAKER_02

I shared with you my glory. Not that you would guard it ferociously, but that you would spread it, that you would share it with others. I have called you to be a reflection of my light. Receive from me this day. Know that what I'm gifting you with is of me. I am a father that gives good gifts to my children. Take it, spread it, share it. I give you the word go. Go.

SPEAKER_07

Oh, ho so echishele mana ekita, dama shele mo secende, Ane bo hosilema echele se ne kaha bosone elemakatande.

SPEAKER_02

Have I not called you by name? Have I not redeemed you, set you free, and healed you? Your life is mine. Your life is mine. I hold you in the palm of my hand. But I have need of you. A desire for you. And if I am for you, then there is nothing that can be against you. I hold you up in my righteous right hand, says the Lord. I guide and I protect.

SPEAKER_12

We praise you, Lord. We praise your holy name. Lord, we honor you, Lord. We honor you, Lord of Lords. We honor you, King. Lord, we trust in you. We trust in you, Lord. We thank you, Lord, right now. We thank the Lord for your gift. We thank you, Lord, for the healing going on in this room right now, Lord. We thank you for the eyes that are being opened right now in this room right now. The ears that are being opened. Lord, we praise you, Lord, we honor you, Lord. Lord, you're worthy, Lord, you're worthy. You're worthy of it all, Lord. Oh Lord. You're the all-in-all, Lord. Lord, you're the Alpha and the Omega, Lord. Lord, you're the beginning and the end, Lord. Lord, we praise your holy name here this morning, Lord. We praise you, Lord. Thank you, Lord, for your manifested presence. Thank you, Lord. As you walk among us, Lord. As we reach out, Lord, touch the hem of your garment, Lord. The oil that you put off, that fragrance that you put off, Lord. Holy are you, Lord. Holy are you, Lord. Thank you, Lord, for the breath of life. Thank you, Lord, when we receive you, receive life. Thank you, Lord. You are the way, the truth, and the life. You come so we could have life and life more abundantly, Lord. We praise you, Lord. We praise you, Lord, that that your yoke is easy and your burden is light, Lord. Oh, we thank you, Lord, that we're walking around weightless, Lord, because we're we're yoked with you, Lord. Lord, we're we're learning from you, Lord. We learn from you, Lord. And we thank you, Lord, that that's how much you love us, Lord. You made a way, Lord, when there wasn't no other way, Lord. And how awesome it is, Lord, Lord, that when we're going through the the biggest, maybe the biggest trials, the biggest struggles in our life, Lord. Lord, which they're not from you. The temptations are not from you, Lord. But when we're going through them, Lord, that's the chance we have, Lord, to draw, draw the closest to you. To draw the closest to you. When we get into a into a spot, when we get into a place that that we're like, man, there's no way I'm gonna get through this place other than you, Lord. Lord, so I just I just lay it down, Lord. I just lay it down at your feet, Lord. I just oh Lord, and He says, Here, my son, my daughter, I I take that up. Let me carry that for you. Let me carry you in my arms. Let me love you in my arms. Let me hold you in my arms. Oh, just picture him. He's loving you right now. He's holding you right now. He's giving you a big old hug right now, Lord. He's kissing the top of your head right now. Oh, thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Yes, Lord. Yes, Lord. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Glory. Hallelujah. Amen. Amen. Amen. But I'm thinking this morning like today is the day of salvation. I'm excited to see what the Lord's gonna do right here in this house this morning, what he's already done. It's gonna be wonderful. Got Sheriff Woody. I mean, I mean Evangelist Todd Hill here with us this morning. So bring your oh you did bring your sheriff badge. Amen. We got a new sheriff in town. You know, for new sh yeah. I think most of the men were here yesterday, so they know what what that's all about. But uh we're excited for that. And then uh you can go ahead and get ready to prepare your giving. I'll give you some time to ask the Lord what he has for you to give today. But um we will uh pick up the actual uh tithes and then uh if you want to make an offering to uh to evangelist Todd then then you can do that uh under guest speaker, I think. Do that under guest speaker or put it in an envelope under under guest speaker. So we're just honored to have him and him and Heath come in and and join us for the men's conference and then stick around today and just just pour life into us. Amen. You know, but people pour life into you. You know what iron sharpens iron, one brother sharpens a brother. So sometimes one brother dulls one brother, but but but get around them brothers that sharpen one another, you know, right? Yeah, yeah. I need someone that pours life into me, so so I'll pour life into other people and then someone pour life into me, right? Right? So um, and then uh coming up, we're just a couple weeks away from Easter, so be raring up for that. And then on the uh 12th of April, uh will actually be our five-year anniversary. So me and Sarah be married five years. I mean, praise the Lord. No, yeah, that's right. Uh no, that'll be the five-year anniversary for the church on on Sunday morning. It started on uh with the 10th revival and then on Friday nights, but uh the 12th will be the five years, and I thought, amen, five years. That's it. What do you get for five years? Maybe I need to look that up. Grace, amen, there you go, amen. There you go. There you go. So we're gonna be having another kid. Um Grace, never mind. Sarah don't Sarah, I've learned Sarah don't like my jokes. Like I think I'm funny, but Sarah don't think Sarah don't think my stuff's funny, but I don't know. Anyway, today it's exciting to have a for me, for the kids to have a camp to go to that's that's a faith camp. One that's gonna pour life into them, one that's gonna iron sharpen iron, and you know it's exciting to have the men's and women's conference here, and then the people come in and join that. But I mean, man, this is exciting for the kids, so it's gonna be a a life-changing week for that. And then on the the ninth, tenth, and eleventh, uh Pastor Chris and Sue will be here. McDonald will be here uh Friday night, Saturday night, and Sunday morning. So I mean I'm I'm excited for for what's gonna go on, and then there'll be some big changes, you know, even in the next few months on our outreach and the different things we do as the church. So I'm excited to get poured into that. So but right now as you know, you prepare your your offering and and your tithes, and I think, you know, it it's such a blessing to to give, you know. You know, and it's such a blessing to to to pour into to other people, into other ministries. It's such a blessing to to to pour into the to give to the church because you know the church, you know, you're you are the body. You know, I th yesterday um Bishop Lance was speaking on the body, and you know, and I never had thought about this, but but uh, you know, you think the body, what's something in your body you can't basically live without? You know, I mean no, it's the blood in there. I won't go there, but anyway, you know, if you chop your head off, you're not living. Right? You know, you you can live without your arm, you can live without your leg, you can live without a kidney, you can live without a lung. You can there's a lot of stuff in your body you can live without, but you can't live without the head. And thankful to the Lord that that he is our head, right? He is the head, not us. So it's like, well, we ain't got no head. No, no, Christ is the head, he is the head, so we trust in him. So it's awesome when we're given into the church that we're given to the body, and Christ is the head of the church, and then we're the body. And then as we we sow into that, we're sowing seeds, and we know seeds produce after their own kind. So as you're sowing money into the kingdom, then we then we reap, we reap benefits from that. We reap money, and we reap blessings, we reap all kinds of things. So so know that that's what you're doing, and then that uh that you're sowing into is it still Kingfish or is it you change you changed the name, didn't you? Oh, Kingfish or Todd Hill Ministries. We'll call it Todd Hill Ministries, right? Uh to know that you're sowing into that, and they actually got him a uh vacation home. Yeah. Uh-huh. Praise the Lord. Amour. How'd you end up with a vacation home? I didn't think people would have two homes. Because he sowed lots of years, and he sowed a lot of years. Now he reaps a lot of years, and he's reaping him a vacation home in Florida, which Michelle is is from Florida, so a lot of her family's down there. So now he'll be spreading a lot of the gospel in Florida too, now. So that isn't that exciting. So, so as we uh prepare our giving, let's get our ushers and uh get lined up here. Father, we praise you. Father, we thank you, Lord. Lord, that we get to come together, Lord, that we get to sow into the kingdom of God, Lord. Lord, and we speak a blessing over this, Lord. Uh that they give out of a cheerful heart, Lord, because your word says you love a cheerful giver, Lord, and that me bless, Lord, to its fullest potential. In Jesus' mighty name, amen. Amen. Hallelujah. Well, he's like a cage lion. I forget how you put it this morning, but more or less it's like, just be ready. I'm not sure what's gonna happen, but the Holy Spirit's just downloaded it on me, and I'm thinking, all right, we're ready. So get buckled up. We got Sheriff Woody. Yesterday it was Sheriff Six. You know, I called him Sheriff Six, and he's like, why in the world did you call me Sheriff Six? And I'm like, because your officer was Barney Fife, but but yeah. So so anyway, welcome Todd Hill. It's gonna be a blessed morning in Jesus' name.

SPEAKER_09

Amen. Did you know that? Isn't it something that that the Holy Ghost would interrupt his own service? Isn't that something? You ever just worship away and all of a sudden the Holy Ghost always wants to show up? But y'all started singing a song, what was it? Spirit break out? Well, don't sing it unless you mean it. Thank you, thank you, Dad. So uh yeah, it's amazing to see what God does. And it's amazing how God interrupts his own service, and you know, a lot of times he'll interrupt a sermon you're gonna preach, too. You know, and I like it, you got the audacity after I prepare to interrupt you. I'm just kidding. Because, you know, we are his people, it is his kingdom, it's it's all his. We just happen to get to participate in it, amen. You know, I'm like the donkey that got to run to Kentucky Derby. I knew I wasn't gonna win. I'm just glad I got to run with the big boys, amen. So we just get to run with the big boys. And uh and that's uh the Holy Spirit, the Father, and Jesus. There's no big boys in the kingdom except for King Jesus, really, amen. There's no big eyes or little you's, nobody's less than. He has no favorites except for one, King Jesus, but he has enough favor for all. Amen? And once you receive Jesus, you have his favor. And the more you walk in obedience, the more that favor increases in on your life. I think it's Isaiah 119. It says, if you're willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land. Why do I want pig slop if I can have steak? And I do like baloney, by the way. You know, that's that's that's he'll build his stake in my world. I love baloney. So, yeah, so why don't I want less than what God has for me? But, you know, I say this this this will be this will be out there today, I know already, uh, because of what the Lord. Told me. But anyway, uh, it's uh in the I say this all the time that in the kingdom everyone has the same opportunity, but not all not everyone has the same outcome. The difference is obedience versus disobedience. I can't do your obedience, you can't do mine. I can't do your repentance, you can't do mine, but if you obey, you don't have to do repentance. There's nothing to repent from. Jesus said, if you love me, do what? Keep what my commands. So the highest form of worship is keeping his commands as simple obedience, right? So no, you didn't die. So I brought something. I carry this prophet with me a lot of places. I don't know. There's a reason for it. So why did I just hang up there? Plumb bob. What's a plumb bob used for?

SPEAKER_08

Huh?

SPEAKER_09

Does anybody know? Make straight. If you're going to build a wall, what do you need? Plumb bob, what does that mean? I'm gonna build that wall straight. Because if I don't, and it keeps leaning, leaning when it gets to the top, what's gonna happen? It's gonna fall over. Did you know Isaiah tells us that his word is the plumb? His word is the plumb line. You build your house according to that thing hanging straight. It's moving, but I promise you, it'll quit. And then it'll hang straight. And most people want to build their life by doing this. They want to bring God's word to fit their life instead of your life to fit the word. If you do, there's a fall coming. You know, I tell people, you know, people, we deal a lot of people with in recovery, drug recovery. They say, well, I relapsed. I said, No, you went and bought it and jumped off the cliff yourself. You already knew you were headed that way. We have to own our junk, right? And we have to own whenever we know we're not doing right. Because if we're willing and obedient, we shall eat the good of the land. And that's what I want. So anyway, I have a whole message, but I don't know that I'm gonna do that today. Just because of what the Lord spoke to me. Um let me say this about tithes and offerings. Let me just teach about money real quick. Tithe you bring to the Lord. It's your first 10%. You don't pay tithes, you pay a bill if you owe it. The tithe is the Lord's. So you bring your first 10%. Offerings are free will. If the church is doing something or they're building on, it's a free will offering. You give with a joyful heart if you want to. Alms is when you give to someone less fortunate than you, and you give it in secret so you protect their dignity. You don't go, you know, what we talked about the Pharisees, they blow horns and you know, whenever they give. No, you give it in secret to protect the dignity of the person in need. Then gifts, there's four four four ways to give in the kingdom. Gifts you give to honor people. You can give them in public or in private. If you're having a birthday, do you get a gift usually a public? Yeah, usually. Or you can give them in private. But that's the four. You bring a tithe, you give an offering, alms are in secret, and then a gift is to honor people because you love them. That's the four giving. Michelle and I, it freaked me out the other day that we've given over three years of our salary to the Lord. Let me just give that to you in numbers. If we if together we made $100,000 a year for 30 years, 31 years, that would have been $3.1 million that we'd made in 31 years. And we would give $310,000 to the Lord. That's a big chunk of money, but it's not if you just give 10% faithfully every week, you don't even miss it. Actually, you get blessed. Because you can't outgive him. And you, you know, I tell people you can either live off 100% cursed or 90% blessed. I'm almost 32 years of living off 90% blessed, and I'm not changing. I'm just telling you, amen. Because you can't outgive him. In fact, I'm gonna be all over today, even though I got a in fact, so some of y'all may know, probably don't. So 13 weeks ago, I got two brand new knees put in at the same time. Don't do that. Okay? I'm just gonna tell you. I did. Now watch this. They want to do them in 2017. I had an encounter with the Lord because I asked them, when do you know you need them done? And they said, whenever you can't sleep at night because they hurt like toothaches, don't you know toothaches. Well, and both of them did. I had an encounter with the Lord, and for the next eight years they never hurt like that. Never had no problems. But because they continue to wear, I kept on getting bow-legged, you know, and wearing and all that. And so I went back to the same doctor, good Christian man, and you know, we're talking to him, and he says, I don't do two of them for people anymore, except for a few people. You're one of them. He says, Is that what you want? I said, Yeah. Michelle got mad at me because I had both my shoulders done by him 18 years ago and not had any trouble ever since. None, zero. You know, doctors do do, I mean, God does use doctors in medicine and stuff like that. I want you to hear that. Don't think it's wrong to go. But they have to work within the confines of your physical body, how God created it. Your body will heal. Go out there and cut a limb off and come back later and it'll be grown over. You know, God's created your body. You got scars where you were cut, but you healed, right? So anyway, but guess what? I'm going somewhere. I told the surgeon, you do your best. I told my physical therapy, you do your best. I told Miss Hill, you do your best, because she was my nurse. Now, if I had it do over again, I would have lost 20 pounds and did upper body strength training for three months prior. Because you don't have a good leg to stand on, and that's not a pun. That's just a reality. You don't have a good leg to stand on, push up, get up, anything. So, Miss Hill, it was a lot on her. But I go back in two weeks, they get ready to pull the staples out. Got staples up both knees. She said, Now, honey, this is gonna hurt. You ready? I said, give me two seconds. I just prayed, I talked to her the whole time, it never hurt. And then I go back four more weeks, six weeks. They look at me and says, My God, you're doing better than most people do with one. And then the surgeon says, You're doing your therapy. I said, every day, whether it hurts or not. Go back six more weeks, twelve weeks. He looks at me. I'm sitting up here swinging my legs, doing whatever. He goes, He said, I'm releasing you today. I said, Okay. No restrictions. I said, okay. He said, Why don't you go snow skiing today? I go, what are you talking about? He goes, he goes, we've never seen anything like you. He said, I don't know what to do. Get out of here. We'll see you in a year. Yeah, you can give the Lord praise for that. Watch this. The surgeon did his best. The physical therapist did his best. My wife did her best. God does the healing, right? They do the manipulation. You know, you don't want to go to a doctor. They're out there and surgeons think they're God. You want to go to the one that says, I'm going to operate, but God's going to heal you. Right? That's the ones you want. Okay. They know they're instruments in God's hand. But here's the deal. If I did not do my therapy, you know how many people don't do their therapy, and before long they're locked up or they're. I mean, even with one. They never fully recover and they're mad. Who are they? Who do they need to be mad at? They self because they didn't do their part. You ready for this? Father does his part. Jesus has done his part. The Holy Ghost is here and he's going to do his part, and now we have to do our part. You ready? Josh, Corlyn, Jesse, Cameron. Beautiful up here. I'm telling you, I told Cameron wasn't up here, and I walked up during the men's conference, and I told, I told Corlin and Jesse, man, beautiful voices, and I told Cameron this morning. Beautiful voices. Beautiful. Now watch this. They're in the midst of just leading worship. Holy Spirit starts to move, and everybody knows his presence, right? There's a shout in the house. There's a shout of victory in the house, right? I start to step up. Actually, I'm looking up a scripture, and all of a sudden I felt the presence of the Holy Spirit, and he dropped the first three. Man, I'm just going to teach today, I guess. Lord, it's your service, your people. I'm yours. I'm a mouthpiece. I don't care how what it looks like. I'm going to say yes. Okay. So in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, like a tongue, usually you only get about the first three or four words. You don't get the whole tongue. Now I choose. Now, Father sent Jesus, who paid the price for us to have what we have, who is the Holy Spirit. The kingdom of God within. Matthew 10, 7 through 8. As you go preach, the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Where's it at hand? Everybody raise your hands up. The kingdom of heaven is at hand right through there. Right there. It's within you and it comes through you, okay? Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, so what do you do? You freely give. So watch this. So I'm sitting there looking up scripture. All of a sudden I feel the Holy Spirit, and He gives me those three words. And I'm going, Really? You want to interrupt me looking up scripture? I'm just I'm just kidding, y'all. I'm just kidding. Come on, y'all. But it's like, yes, because He is Lord. He runs the show. I don't. He leads. I you know, whenever the Holy Spirit's moving, the hardest thing to do is learn how to follow and not lead. I'm going to repeat that. When the Holy Spirit's moving, the hardest thing to do, especially when you've already prepared yourself, is to learn how to follow and not leave. Right? So now I have to make a choice. And so literally I walk across here, I start, well, I look up at Jesse and she kind of looks at me. But guess who's in who's in authority over this house? Two. Right here. This couple. Now he did ordain me or he did make me sheriff, so he gave me authority. So I've got authority right now. But I'm still under their authority. Right? You understand? But I've got the authority to stand in this pulpit. Can anybody just walk through that door, grab this mic, and start preaching? You with me? There is an order in the kingdom of God. And when the Holy Spirit's moving, it may look like it's out of order, but it's just because you don't understand how God works, and I'm going to help you in that little bit. So anyway, so as Josh, uh where's Josh? Did you have the full tongue or did you just have two or three words when you started?

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_09

Coraline, when you gave interpretations, you have the whole interpretation. Just a few words. But it's all by faith. As I open my mouth by faith and start to release what the Lord gives me, he adds on. If you won't give the little, he'll never add on. Is this okay? Okay. And guess what? It's tongue and interpretation, not translation. Long tongue, short interpretation. Or it can be a short tongue, long interpretation. It's not translation word for word, it's interpretation. And it comes through the vessel. Both the tongue and interpretation come through imperfect vessels. You'll never be perfect. You're fully accepted of the one who is. We're not perfect until we go home. You know, I make this statement all the time. Two natures beat within my breast, one is foul, the other is blessed, the one I love and the one I hate, but the one I feed will dominate. Your flesh that gives you trouble, your old man, which is dead but tries to raise his head, will be there until you receive glorification. And that's when this body goes to the grave and gets resurrected. Okay? So you're not perfect, but you're striving to walk in the holiness and pureness of God. You gain ground all the time. Warren Wearsby said, we may never be sinless on this side of eternity, but we ought to be sinning less and less as we walk in the Lord. Sanctification, growing, learning what he does, what he does not like. Conviction is just when the Holy Spirit puts his finger on something and says, I don't like that. Would you give it to me? Is that not love? That's not good for you. I'd really like for you to give that to me. Okay, we can do that. So anyway, I honor Pastor Dan. I come over to Pastor Dan after I walk across, and I stood up and I said, Hey, this is for you. Release. I said, I have a message in tongues. I said, I'll give it whenever you want me to, if you want me to give it. And you know what? There's places that tell you, no, we don't do that in here. And you know what? If that's fine, okay. I'm under their authority. Okay. I'm not going to cause any trouble. Right? Because I'm under authority. So anyway. Anyway, but he, and then it was neat to watch, I mean, neat that the song that you started singing, Jesse. Y'all start singing, and if you stand up and do that, I'm going, well, okay, Lord, well, I'll I'll hold it for late. But we were in a meeting with uh Jeff and Gretchen a while back, and was there three tongues in interpretations? It was crazy. Everybody on their face, it was crazy. So anyway, but the Holy Spirit, you know, it uh it doesn't ever always fit here, but it fits right here. Is that right? Amen. Okay. So I want to honor your leaders here, uh Dan and Sarah. Actually, um, I've been thinking about coming to the men's conference. I think Michelle and I were on our way back from Florida and I called Dan or he called me and talked to him about. I said, I think Heath, I'm gonna holler Heath see if he wants to come out. We'll drive out and men's conference. He said, well, just preach on Sunday. I said, well, I don't have to do that. He said, well, but you will. I said, but whatever. I don't care, it doesn't matter. You know, but I love them. Uh my favorite place to sleep is in their basement in that bed. Man, it's quiet. But anyway, I want to honor their you got leaders that are humble, that are chasing the Lord. Doesn't fit everybody's grid. It's okay. Don't have to. All you gotta do is no one to please, nothing to prove, only one to please, King Jesus. As long as you do that, don't worry about what anybody else says. Did you know you're gonna stand before the Lord by yourself one day and nobody else is gonna be with you? The naysayers, the critics, they're not gonna be there. You just have to give an account what you did with it with what he put in your hand. Remember that. We give an account one day for what we did with it. It's his gifting, it's his power, it's his presence, it's his kingdom. Amen. Okay. Uh, I do want to give two books away, so whoever can quote quote John 3.17, I'll give it to you. Yep, you said out. You said, yes, ma'am. You're you're you're on it. Jolene, right? Okay. All right. Well, I tell you what, let's all do this. Let's all do this. Let's quote John 3.16 together. For God's so low. Should not perish. 17 says, for God did not. Oh, I tell you what, get up here. I tell you what, come up here. You can have your pick, because I got one of each. Your pick. All right, thank you. That's called God, you're crazy. And it's because most of the time when he tells you to do something at first, you'll in your mind you'll go, that's the craziest thing I've ever heard. Right? Peter, go fishing. I fished all night, Lord. My nets are clean. I'm going home, going to bed. I work third shift. You're a carpenter. I'm a fisherman. Changed his whole life, though, didn't it? So, okay. Now, who can quote Romans 14, 17? Oh, you sit over and hush. Romans, Romans 14, 17. I'll start it for you. The kingdom of God is not. All right, if you can quote the second half. The kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but Cameron, pull that scripture up. Pull that scripture up. Because this is really where I'm going. Let's quote it together. But righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. Amen. Alright, let's do another one then. I gotta give another book away. John 3.36. John 3.36. If you know John 3.16 and you witness to people, you need to know John 3.36. He who has the Son has life. He who does not have the Son does not have life, but the wrath of God abides upon him. Okay, what's the shortest scripture in the Bible? Whoever said it first, come get your book. Jesus was it shooting. Alright. Alright. I'm having some fun with you all. So uh since I was deputized or made sheriff, you know, you've got to look the part. Actually, actually, I said yesterday that we were going to have deliverance today for all the women who put on mustaches and have beards. Right? Right. Peel that for me. Hey, uh, and while Mike, would you and would you come up here with Mike? I gotta have a deputy or two. See, I think I got my mustache. Here, put your mustache on. I know y'all looking at me like a cow staring at a new gate. But if you don't know, you know, there's Holy Ghost and fire, but there's also Holy Ghost and fun. Did you know that the average child laughs, giggles, and smiles six and under over 400 times a day and the average adult less than 15? You forgot how to have joy. You forgot how to have joy. You forgot how to have joy serving King Jesus, joy in a relationship. Did you know I sat before a minimum, medium security uh chaplain in a penitentiary in Vienna, Illinois. I was in there three or four times doing ministry, and I had lunch with him one day, and he said, Jesus never promised smooth sailing. You need to say this with me. Jesus never promised smooth sailing. Anybody had some bumps in life? Raise your hand. Every one of you ought to be raising your hand. But he did promise joy in the journey. Let's say that. He did promise. Joy in the journey. And you ready for the rest? A safe arrival on the other side. Let's say that. A safe arrival on the other side. He did. When he told his disciples to get in the boat, and they got in the boat, and what happened? They ran into a storm. But later it says, and they arrived to the other side. If he says you're going, you're going. No matter how big the storm, unless you allow the storm to have preeminence first place in your life. Peter started sinking because he took his eyes off what?

SPEAKER_05

All right.

SPEAKER_09

Now looked apart. You got your gun loaded? Alright, so where's Liam? Is Liam here? Liam, would you come up here just a minute? I'm going somewhere. I'm going totally off my notes. So, Cameron, probably none of those scriptures will work, just to be honest with you. I hate to tell you that. I'm walking on water. I'm following Jesus. I don't know where we're going, but I know where we're going to end up, okay? So this morning, something happens to me. It actually started last night. I'm standing outside nice night. I look down at two toys hanging out there. It's a tricycle and a wagon. Y'all see them up here on the stage? I look at them and I'm going, somebody should have put those up. And then this is Todd Hill's world. I teach leadership. I travel. I teach new hires. I teach employees. I mentor young men. This is what I tell them. It may not be your job, but it's your opportunity. Just do it. Just do it. Because guess what? The one who sees rewards anyway. Promotion comes from the Lord. Colossians says, all things whatever you do, do hardly as unto the Lord, not unto men. And the Lord Himself shall reward you. Not with eye service as men pleasers means whenever the person authority is around, you do what's right, and where they walk out, you do what you want to. Kids, I'm talking about your parents too. Right? So it's my opportunity, but the Lord, the the one who rewards is the Lord. He's watching every deed you do. So I was going to put them up, and I've got to check in my spirit, just to check. Because I was just going to pick them up and put them in the garage. If they didn't go there, they can move them later. But the only two toys left outside. So this morning, I come in here and we're praying. And the Lord says, Go out there and get the tricycle. I'm going, oh, here we go. Because you gotta walk on water, you gotta follow. Remember, the hardest thing to do is whenever the Lord's speaking is to follow, not lead. Peter tried to lead. Lord, we've told all night and caught nothing. Then he said, Nevertheless, that's your word. He started following. And he caught more fish than he ever had. And Jesus caught his first two disciples with a miracle. Okay. Right? Okay. So I go out there and get the tricycle. And then I'm praying. And the Lord says, Well, go get the wagon now. I'm like, I could have got them both at the same time. Do y'all ever argue with the Lord? Raise your hand. Or is it just okay. I just thought it was me. Right? I mean, you know, come come on, you know, common sense and logic. And I'm gonna tell you something. You can throw common sense and logic whenever you fall on the Lord sometimes, because sometimes it doesn't make sense. To spit, take spit and dirt and make mud and black. I man see. Put that, make that one fit in your gears up here. Oh, angel comes down and spins the water and first one in gets healed. Make that one fit in. Oh, hey, Naaman, the king, go dip in the Jordan River seven times. I've got cleaner rivers back where I come from. That's ludicrous. He says, Well, if he told you to do a heart thing, you would have done it. And he dipped seven times. And restoration, it was better than before. He had skin as a young man, not his age. Does it make any sense to you? Does it make any sense to you that in an instant, that if you confess Jesus the Lord and believe in your heart, God raised him from the dead, repent from your sin, a miracle happens, you get born again, get a new heart? Does that fit here? But it's real. And then I start the process of transformation by renewing, washing the dirt out of my mind with the word of God, and I begin to think like God, get the mind of Christ, and I start acting and talking like God instead of what I did before. I will probably share some of my testimony later. I don't know if I will or not, but the day I got saved, I lost half my vocabulary. Anybody know what I'm talking about? Underground coal miner. Yeah, yeah. I had all of them. Those four-letter words, most of them are four that we use to make us look tough. And anyway, I won't get there. But anyway. So this morning after I bring these in, the Lord speaks to me again. And I go pick these up, the other ones. I have one with me. Lim, you had one earlier, didn't you? We need to get you back. We need to get you hooked back up there. And so I do that. And then then the Lord speaks one more thing for me. And so I go grab it. I'll have it in a minute. But after I come back in and I'm standing up here, Mike comes up to me. This is the craziest thing. Actually, you can pull up Matthew 18, I think is where I'm going to go just for a little bit. We'll just start there. None of my notes. This is when you got to walk on water. But if you don't keep take your eyes off Jesus, he's got you. He backs you. Bishop said something the other day, yesterday, kind of, I say a little bit different. If money didn't matter, you knew you couldn't fail, what would you do with your life? Serve Jesus. And whatever it is, that's what he's called you to fulfill on earth. Because if money didn't matter, most people don't do stuff because of lack of money. It's not your checkbook, it's his. I think, I think, especially driving around here, he said, this is cattle country. I said, Yeah. He owns a cattle on a thousand hills. All the gold and silver is his. The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof. In other words, he owns it all. And we are his children. What's he going to withhold from his children who are doing right? No good thing would he withhold from those who walk uprightly.

SPEAKER_05

Okay?

SPEAKER_09

Are you with me? Anybody ever been to Walmart? Raise your hand. Too much, too many, too. When automatic doors? When do the automatic doors open up? When you step, God opens up the resources whenever you say yes and step out, but He you don't need resources to stay on your couch in fear, doubt, and unbelief. Oh, I'm dropping here. Is this okay? Okay. Don't wait. Just follow, obey. Don't look at the resources. Don't look at what you don't have. Look at who you do have. Him. He owns it all. Okay? I'm telling you, he's not broke. Don't trip. I was just reading this morning. Hey, Peter shows up. Hey, Jesus, we gotta pay temple tax. He goes, okay. Go catch a fish and whatever you grab, go pay. He didn't have millions of dollars with him, but he had a father who owned it all. And so he, word of knowledge through Holy Spirit living in him, Jesus is perfect theology. He gets a word of knowledge, tells Peter, go catch a fish. Well, if Peter goes, no, I'm not gonna do that, I'm gonna go up here and panhandle. Oh, I'm gonna get myself in trouble with this one. I saw a man, young man, and God in panhandling one day. And God, I forget everything sign said. And all of a sudden, the Holy Spirit, I couldn't help it. I grabbed my Bible off the dash, pulled over, walked over there, and showed him Psalms 37 where uh David says, I once was young, young and now I'm old. I've never seen the righteous forsaken nor a seed begging bread. And I said, Read that. I said, Are you a man of God? He goes, I am. I said, You love Jesus, I am. I said, Read that. He read it. I said, Is that in there? He goes, It is. I said, What are you doing here? He looked around his wife, kids said, Come on, let's go. I never saw him panhandling again. He's out of order. Paul said, if you don't work, you don't eat. If you don't work and provide for your own family, you're worse than an infidel. It's one thing if he if he was crippled, broken. Oh man. I can tell. Listen. You know how many people I do give to when they hear the Holy Spirit say do that? I don't give them money, I'll go buy them a meal. Uh I've put people in apartments, filled their refrigerator or cabinet full of groceries, and bought them clothes and got them a job. When the Holy Spirit says. But if you give every opportunity there is before long, you'll be broke and none of them will give back to you. But just again, we we give. So anyway, I know where I'm heading now. So this morning, I don't know. I know I'm everywhere. Is it okay? Everybody say amen. All right. So I'm standing up here. This is after prayer. Mike walks up here and he wants to tell me a story. So tell that.

SPEAKER_01

What story?

SPEAKER_09

The testimony.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, did I say something to you about my shoulder, about the deal? Oh, I was talking about, I said, you know, back when Todd Hill was here, a while back, it's probably about a year ago or so. Well, we went over here and and I'd hurt my shoulder, and he prayed over my shoulder, and whenever and he said, you know, be healed. But but that but I didn't receive that healing. And I said, and then I went to some other people and I'd and I said, you know, I want you to pray for my shoulder, but I want it to be instantly healed. You know, I don't want you to pray for healing, I want you to pray for a miracle. And so, but everywhere I went, they'd lay their hands on it and go, I pray that your shoulder be healed in the name of Jesus. And I wouldn't receive that because I wanted it to be an instant miracle. Well, then a little about a week went by and we was on a Wednesday night, and Stacia took the kids up to the to the grocery store for the to pray for people. And I thought, well, I'll just swing by there and run a little bit late for church. I'll just swing up there and and then the kids can pray over me, no big deal. So as I'm going up there, Liam comes out and he goes, Can I pray for you? And I go, Yeah, I'll pray for my shoulder. And he goes, Your shoulder be healed in the name of Jesus. And I receive that. And so then I'm like, Yes. And so anyway, then my shoulder's healed. This is so good.

SPEAKER_07

Amen.

SPEAKER_01

And I'm rolling along really good with this, man. I'm doing doing great. And I guess probably a year passes by and it's it's good, man. I'm like, man, this is good. Well then I come to church one Sunday and I'm like, oh man, I'm not, ma'am, I'm I'm hurting. I'm like, what's going on? And so then Monday comes and I'm like, man, I can't hardly get my arm up. And I'm like, man, Lord, I must something. I'm doing something. And uh because I'm feeling like, you know, what's the deal? Because I don't know. Well then Tuesday, I look in the mirror and I don't have a shirt on. And I mean, it's black from like here down. I mean, so so I'm like, man, what did I do? And I thought, oh, I was delivering dogs on Saturday Saturday, and I must have ran into a wall. That's all I could think about because I couldn't. And I mean, I tore this back loose. And so anyway, I'm like, and I'm telling him, I'm like, so now I'm like going, Lord, if you did it once, you'll do it again. Lord, if you'll do it once, you'll do it again. And so now I'm like thankful to know this, that I know my rights in Christ. And I'm like, yeah, so I'm getting better. I'm like, Hallelujah, you know, and the pain, pain's not there.

SPEAKER_09

So anyway, that's that's exactly what I want. That's that's a story tell me.

SPEAKER_06

So when I was born, I had uh three spots on my lids that were white, and uh when I bitted them off they kept running back, but in 2026 they came off.

SPEAKER_08

Thank you, Jesus. Amen. Thank you all. Thank you all.

SPEAKER_09

Yep, y'all done. So I'm gonna show you how how God uses the body of Christ. We're a body, there's no big eyes or little use. But you have to see the value, the kingdom value in each and every person you're around. Everybody has something from the Lord. Jolene, come up here a minute, please. Yeah, you look at her. Bye. I don't have a mustache for you, so I'm pulling that thing off. That is woo. That feels feels weird. But anyway. So I come in here this morning, immediately at prayer, and what do you come ask me?

SPEAKER_06

Will you take communion with our youth group?

SPEAKER_09

So all the kids are sitting over here with you're the lead, you're lead- who's leading them? Wait a minute, where are you at?

unknown

Stacy.

SPEAKER_09

Stacy. But who was up here with them, the adult? Oh, there you are in the back. So she was up here with them. I said, I would love to come take communion with you all. And so I take communion with them, and then I ask them to lay hands on me and pray for me. And they do. Thank you, by the way. Okay, let's say that. Now I'll head where I'm going. Liam, Jolene do not have a junior Holy Spirit. They don't have a less than. Yesterday, during men's conference, I walked in from a break. I looked there at the corner of the booth, and there's two little bitty underarmor tennis shoes right there. And I just laughed. And Will walks by and I go, I can't fit in those anymore. He said, You ought to see the smaller ones. I said, It wouldn't matter. I can't fit in those anymore. I wear a size 14. So I'm talking to a good friend of mine last week. We've done a lot of ministry together. He says, Let's catch up with life. I tell him. I forgot this testimony when I was talking about giving. And so I tell him, you know what I've been through, and I said, you know, for 12 weeks. I said, I had both of my knees replaced at the same time. He goes, Oh my, nobody does it anymore. I said, I know. I looked in the mirror and had a talk with that man over doing that. But anyway, and I said, But I'm up back and running. I said, excited, ministry, blah, blah, blah. I said, no restrictions, da da da. He says, Well, you need a new pair of running shoes. I said, Yeah, actually, I said, I'm gonna go buy a pair. He says, Go buy them, I'm gonna pay for them. I said, No, no, you're not gonna do that. And all of a sudden the Holy Spirit checked me and said, Let him pay for them. See, if you're good at giving giving, you're terrible at receiving. I'll repeat that. If you're good at giving, you're terrible at receiving. The reason is in giving you have control and receiving you don't. It takes humility to receive. Are you with me? I'm gonna help y'all out here. But if you don't let somebody give to you, you're robbing them of their blessing. Now it's one thing if somebody gives you a gift and you turn around and you receive it and you give it back like money for a purpose or stuff like that. You understand? You received it, so they get their blessing, but all of a sudden you want to sew it. Are you with me? It's yours. No strings attached. We bought a guy who leads worship. He's actually traveling a lot now. Michelle and I sold a brand new guitar into him. We we we we drove around until he found what he wanted, and then you know, we did. And on the way home, I looked at him and I said, the only strings attached to that guitar are the five that's on it. You don't owe us anything. If you do, it's not a gift. You with me? Okay. All right. So anyway, I said, you know, I'm gonna let you buy those shoes. He said, All right, he said, send me a picture of the receipt and do. I hang up the phone now because I I heard the Holy Spirit, I go, Lord, what's what's going on here? I have the money to buy those shoes. I he said, What about the evangelist you bought two brand new shoes for? We had an evangelist, I actually laid them to the Lord in November 9, 2012, who would take a cross and roll it through town and go to many towns and witness it. He wore out tennis shoes. In fact, I was at the altar with him one day, looked down, he had a screw in his tennis shoe. I said, What's that screw in there for? He said, holding it together. So I pulled out money. I said, Go buy your new pair of shoes. And one other time when he got off his off his uh assignment, you can do that. You know, you know, if you get the you know where you put a train back on the track at? Wherever it derails. Wherever you get off, get back on. Go go right there and get back on. Just repeat. So he was struggling, so I looked at him, the Lord says, buying his second pair, tell him get back to doing what he was doing. So I bought him a second pair. So the Lord tells me, said, You're just reaping what you've sown. Now I get it. Right? You can't outgive God. If you give a spoon, he gives a cup. If you give a cup, he gives a bucket. If you give a bucket, he gives a barrel. If you give a barrel. And you don't give to get, you give because you've been given to to begin with. Romans 8 32 says, He who spared not his own son but gave him up for us all, how much more with him shall he not freely give us all things? He's already given his best to ask for anything else is nothing. You can't ask too big. But you don't ask to consume it upon your own desires and love. Now, don't get me wrong, he blesses. Don't get me wrong. Dan mentioned the house we bought in Florida. My wife's from there. I promised her we'd spend our latter years in Florida. The Lord gave me a dream a year before. Craziest, one of the craziest dreams I've ever had. In fact, in that book, 16 Ways of How God Speaks. I knew it was the Lord, I wrote it down. We're down in Florida for Thanksgiving. See your family on their way home. God fulfills that dream in one moment. And I knew we were to buy a house there. Now, ours is not for sale in Kentucky, but it is for sale. We're not advertising, but the Lord wants somebody to buy it. We've had four people come look at it. If he wants it sold, it'll sell. No big deal. So anyway, uh, you can't outgive him. God's good all the time. He's not broke, don't treat him that way. So here's where I'm at. So, Jolene does that. The Lord speaks to me. I go grab that. Let's see. You know what? Uh scripture. 18, Matthew 1. And at the time disciples came to Jesus saying, Who then is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? Did you know that still happens today? You know how much competition there is between a lot of preachers and jealousy and even people in church. You're not going to be gifted the same. Your gift is not for you, it's for those around you. Receive from the person who has it, but their gift is for you. You can't play baseball sitting at home. You can watch it. But you can't participate, and you can't receive from the body of Christ unless you're here in the body of Christ. And did you know the prayer meeting you might you miss might be the one that God falls the strongest in? You never know. So, then Jesus called a little child to him, set him in the midst of them, and said, Assuredly I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will never by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. I think, therefore, whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Whoa. So Jesus, the two great commandments are you shall love the Lord your God with all your and your neighbor as Jesus, you can pull this up if you want to. It's probably John 13, 34, I think. Jesus, after he washes his disciples' feet, humility. Oh, come to serve. Oh, come to give his life as a ransom. He didn't come to be served, but to serve, to give his life as a ransom. The humble, lowly servant who's now a king, right? So he washes all of them's feet, including Judas's. He was never, Judas could never say I was treated any different than the other eleven. No excuses. You won't have no excuses. If you think God's short on his part, you're missing it. You've got to figure out what's wrong up here. Because he never is. A new commandment I give to you. So after he washes their feet, Judas goes to betray him. He looks at the other eleven. It's the most intimate language in the Bible from 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 up to 18. Most intimate language. Because I'm leaving. Boys, I'm out of here. I'm going to send one like me, the Holy Spirit, who's going to help you. He's going to remind you of things that I said. He'll guide you into all truth. In fact, he doesn't say this, but if you know scripture, I didn't do anything until he filled me. Now I was born of the Spirit as a baby. Jesus was. Born again. Dan mentioned this yesterday. He was born of the Spirit. He was born again because he was already in heaven. Let us make man in our image. Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Okay? He's born again. He's actually born on earth as a man, but then he's filled with the Spirit in the river Jordan. Then he's led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tested of the devil. Don't think the Lord won't use the enemy to test you. Don't. He will. And that's so you can see how far you've come in the faith. Okay? The teacher gives a test to see if you've learned anything. The book of Job. Who asked Satan about Job? Does Satan ask God about Job, or does God ask Satan about Job? Have you considered my servant Job? There's none like him in all the earth. Okay, are you with me? Now again, won't destroy you, won't let him go. But that's how you build your faith through battles, through tests, through trials. God allows them. Okay? Are you with me? He won't put any more on you than what you can handle? Is that scripture or is that what everybody quotes? That's what everybody quotes. He will put on you what it takes you and him both to handle. Because he's got your back. Are you with me? He builds people through their battles. So, so Jesus goes into the wilderness. He's tempted by the devil, and it says he returns, and the power of the Holy Spirit begins his ministry. So, after you receive salvation, you receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. One of the first things you will have is greater spiritual warfare in your life. Just part of it. But there's greater is He that's in you than what? He that's in the world. For this reason, the Son of God was manifested that he might destroy the works of the devil. In other words, the victor's in you, and you're going to be victorious if you don't quit. So, let's go back to that scripture there. So Jesus, he sends them away. He says, A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another as I have loved you, that you also love one another. So now we have three great commandments. This one here is that you love one another as I have loved you. How did Jesus love them? He humbled himself, he laid down his life for them, and he served them. You know how you follow that commandment? You're not better than anyone. We don't esteem someone with us ourselves higher than someone. So now I have to serve my brother and sister in Christ. I have to lay down my life for them, but guess what? They laid down their life for me. In other words, my gift is for you, your gift is for me. Does it make sense? It's not hard. Christianity is not hard. If you ever trade the power of love for the love of power, that's where you get in trouble. What does that mean? Whenever I start having to do something because I want more influence in people's lives.

unknown

No.

SPEAKER_09

That's wanting power, influence. No. No. Did you know if I come over to you and try to say something, make you think bad about Dan, that that's witchcraft, it's manipulation? It's trying to control you to not like somebody. Are you catching this? We gotta watch what comes out of here. I'm everywhere. But anyway, I'm getting where I'm headed. I'm headed somewhere. So, a new commandment I give you that you love one another as I have loved you. You love one another. Love has a guarantee according to 1 Corinthians 13, 18. Love never fails. Love never fails. It's guaranteed. If you follow the way of love, you will never fail. Never, ever fail. The whole kingdom functions motivated by love, for God so loved the world that. Okay. Alright. So now here we are. So I bring in this tricycle and I bring in this wagon. I know I'm out here. Todd Hill cannot ride this. Right? I've outgrown those little shoes back there. I can't ride this anymore. And I sure can't. You know what? I don't even think my shoe will fit in this, but I'm gonna try. Hush. Hush, Heath. No, it's hanging over. About an inch. My shoe won't even fit in it. I have outgrown those toys, those shoes. But if I allow my heart to outgrow fitting in there and sitting on that seat, I've missed it. A fireman works for the fire department. Volunteer for the fire department. He's in the playground one day playing with his three-year-old daughter. That's what he's supposed to be doing. And all of a sudden the firebell goes off. And he hears it in a small town. If he continues playing with his daughter, he's not fulfilled his duty. All of a sudden things shift. He's got the heart of a father, and now he's got the heart of a child playing with a child. But all of a sudden, things shift. The thing about the kingdom, I was telling them this, I was preaching to Christian Sews a while back. Third song of worship. As we went into church that afternoon, I saw the kids play around between the two buildings and kids out there on the swing set. And I'll get the third song of worshipers. I said, I'll be back in the minute. I ran out there jump in the swing set and leaned my head back and started laughing. And having the biggest time with those kids. And they started laughing. I got sweat coming up. He goes, Where are you? I said, I've been out there playing with the kids. He goes, You're a nut. I said, I know it. I said, but man, they thought I was awesome. When? When? I walked in right before service, and a lot of them back here were laughing, cutting up. I said, quit laughing in church. Seriousness is a fruit of the spirit, don't you know? Get over your sin. No. Anybody see it as a fruit of the spirit? What is fruit of the spirit? Anyone know what's mercy? Look, what's next? What's next? What's next? Can I ask you a question? I want you to be honest with you. I want you to be 100% honest with you. I know this has nothing to do with it. Cameron, you got my notes. Have I used one scripture? That's what I thought. We're just following Jesus here. Because, see, here's anytime that I do ministry, I go back here and lay on my face. I'm back there laying on my face. You know what my prayer always is? Lord, you know the hearts of the people. I don't. You know what they have need of? I don't. I'm just a mouthpiece. I'm just a vessel. So whatever you want to do, we'll do, no matter what it looks like. So let me ask this question. How many of you all are struggling to have joy in your journey, sir? But just be honest with me. Don't thank you. Don't be afraid. Thank you. Thank you. Don't be afraid. Thank you. Thank you. You're not done yet. I'm all over here. Don't be afraid. You're struggling having joy. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Don't be afraid. Don't be afraid. There's no condemnation here. There's no judgment. None. We all go through seasons of this. Nehemiah 8.10. Can anybody quote that one for me? The joy of the Lord is my strength. What about 1722 of Proverbs? Can anybody quote that to me? A merry heart does good like a medicine, but a broken spirit drives the bone. A broken spirit, a depression. Did you know the American Medical Association found out that people that deal with depression long term have brittle bones? Don't wait for the medical and the archaeologists and the scientists to catch up and prove the word of God. Just believe it. Don't wait on it. Don't wait on it. So, as I'm pulling out these toys in here and going, God, I hope you know what you're doing, because I sure don't. But he always does. I said, I'm going to follow him. And I'll put a mustache on and I have him give me authority. So he's giving me authority. He's giving me authority. Paul said in Philippians, rejoice always. And I say again, rejoice. It's a command. He's in prison writing that. Uh-oh. Uh-oh. Did you know God is good even when life is not? Did you know unpleasant circumstances and events in life is not keeping God from being good, but what he tries to do is take our revelation away that God is good. Dan was talking about a tornado that you're here. What year was that Dan? 2019. In 05 in Kentucky, we had a tornado hit. And the next Sunday morning a lady comes, she's in our church. Member comes through the doors, holding up the front newspaper, front page, shows a tornado right behind the school. Her subdivision was right there too. And she said, I had no damage at all. The Lord sure is sure is good. I said, ma'am, if you lost everything you own, the Lord still be good. And she went, I never thought of that. So I've got one more thing, and then I'm gonna give an altar call. Jesse, however, y'all want to come up to the board. I've got one more problem. I see, is that everything? I know, this is none of my notes. I know. I know. I do want to read something before I pull out this last problem. It's at the very end of my notes. If any of these resonate in you, if you have any of these thoughts reoccurring in you, I want you to stand up. I'm not enough. Thank you for your obedience. I'm abandoned and alone. I am unloved. I'm a bad person. I am weak. I am stupid. I am unworthy. I am helpless. I am unseen. I am unheard. I don't matter. I'm unimportant. Something's wrong with me. I don't belong. I am disliked. I want to die. I am disconnected. I am excluded. I am disrespected. I am rejected. I am trapped. I am powerless. You know, Jesus in 844 of John, he says, The devil's a liar. And the father of it. There's no truth in him. The devil's a lie. Did you know that you have to believe the opposite of what you're hearing to have the truth? Because he's not going to do nothing but lie. You know, uh, greater is he that's in me than he that's in the world. Oh, Jesus himself had said he was despised, rejected of me, a man of good acquainted with grief. If many man or woman be in Christ, he is a new creation. If God be for me, who can stand against? On and on and on. I'll never leave you nor forsake you. On and on and on. So we have to take the lie and flip it. And we'll stand on the truth. Now, here's my last one. So, whenever we showed up, Sarah and Dan, I know it's mainly Sarah. Sarah's a host of Sarah's man. Sarah ought to be an interior decorator on the side, but she doesn't have time. But anyway, let me put this up where I ride it if I want to. Like a skateboard. So Sarah has a basket full of goodies and a card, but she gave us something else.

Bubbles.

SPEAKER_09

Y'all ever watch Nemo?

SPEAKER_08

Bubbles, bubbles, bubbles, bubbles, bubbles!

SPEAKER_09

He come here. I travel with one of the biggest kids on this planet. I promise you, he's one of the biggest kids on this planet. I promise you. They have to pay me to take him with me. His wife pays me $100 a day. Just put up with him. Alright, watch this. One or two of y'all are gonna get off. I know this is, I know, I know. Probably one or two of y'all are gonna get offended in this. If you do, you're probably the very one who needs to come. Because you forgot to how to have joy in the journey. You forgot how to enjoy this relationship with King Jesus. Are you with me? You know the favorite thing that I love to do with kids, and I'm about too old to do it, is get out in a grass field, look up in the air, and spin until you fall down because you can't stand anymore. And you know what has happened? You've lost all control. You're not drunk with wine, which is in excess. Okay. You're not, but man, you're just enjoying life with kids. Out in the sun. Look at these beautiful days. I mean, yesterday was like even today when you worship. Right? Just go have fun with the kids. They're laughing and giggling over 400 times a day and smiling, and here we are. Deep dark depression. I'm a Christian. Well, don't get around me with that. You know, I tell people as you witness, if you're not enjoying your relationship with the Lord, don't share him. But true evangelism is a heart of love that's enjoying a relationship with the Lord, and you can't help but share your best friend with somebody. That's evangelism. It's not hard. There's no, you know, I mean, yeah, you need a description, but the main thing is your testimony. Not only your testimony when you got saved, but your testimony of what God is doing in your life right now. You understand? So here's what I want you to do. If you're standing, if you trust me, well, if you trust the Lord, don't trust me. Trust the Lord. I want you to come. I want you to come. I do. I really do. I want you to come. Please come. Don't be afraid. We're gonna have just a little fun in Jesus. You know? You know. Hey, if you weren't standing, you want to come, please come. A little fun in Jesus. Now, y'all are gonna have to move this. You're gonna move this. Watch this. Watch this. Yeah. We can have Holy Ghost and fire services, and I love those. Don't get me wrong. I do. I do.

I do.

I've laid hands on the side. We've seen miracles upon miracles. I've received miracles upon miracles. But let me tell you one miracle I perceive. Come on up, Charlie. You're smiling. You might as well start laughing. Y'all come on up. Look at here. Let me let me tell you. Yeah, y'all spread it out. Y'all spread it out a little bit. You're good? Y'all come up for in 1996 I was supposed to have back surgery. Working underground coal mines. I walked, I lived like this every day for 10, 12, 14 hours. That's the reason my knees were worn out. But I was off to have back surgery. It was a good Friday. We're gonna have a good Friday coming up. April 5th, 1996. I was at a service. Somebody laid hands on me. I don't have time to tell you the whole story. But the Holy Spirit, I won't tell you the manifestation of what happened, but let me tell you this. When I got up, my back was hit. And I laughed for over an hour and a half at the floor. It did not make any sense right here. Oh, remember the lot? It did not make any sense right here. I said, this is I've never seen it. I go back to work, come back to church. I said, What are you doing at work? You're having back surgery. I said, No, I'm not. Lord healed me. They were tickled to five because it costs me. I was back productive, right? I was a pulling mule instead of mocking. But anyway, so now watch this. I go back to church Wednesday, same thing happens. I'm in the floor for iron o'clock. Anyway, but when I get up, an older saint in the back said, Come here a minute, Todd, I'll talk to you. Went back and she said, The Lord just spoke to me and told me you had major back trouble. I said, Yes, ma'am. She said, she told me it'd been five months. I said, Yes, ma'am. She said, Well, he told me one more thing to tell you. I said, What's that? Said, he's filled your back in his laughter because of Mary Hart's like this. Now watch this. That'd be uh, what's today's day? 22nd. Come April 5th. It'll be 30, April 5th, it'll be 30 years that my back is healed. I've never missed another day's work. I've never had a night right there. If you want to look, I'll show you some scars. As I as as I come, as I come here, I I promise you there's 13 pages there. You can look at any of them if you want to. And it'd been a whole lot more comfortable for me just with there, right? But no. But the Lord starts speaking. Some of you need to put your heart back in the wagon. Some of you need to put your heart back on the triceps. Some of you need to go get ice cream today when you leave here. Do you need it? Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Don't look at me and say, Well, I don't need it. I didn't say you needed it. I say, go get it. There's a lot of things I don't need, but are you with me? Now watch this. Watch this. Do you know how to blow bubbles? You know how to blow them with that stick? Yeah, you waving. Okay. Huh? Ready? Now, I just want he. This is I know. I know. I know. Lord help me. I know. I want him to go across here and just wave this thing in the bubbles. How many? How much are you ready? How many deer? Never as a kid played with bubbles. Never did. Raise your hand. Never. Oh, okay. Okay, so we all played with bubbles, right? Forget who's around you, forget who's looking. It doesn't matter. You know Phil's got a good looking mustache. I had one, but I pulled it off. That's where they got the idea from Phil's he's got a good looking mustache. That's what I want you to do. I just want you to go across waving bubbles. I want you to play in the bubbles. And Jesse, what are you gonna sing? Joy of the. Do you have there is joy in the house? Do you have anything? Whatever you want to sing, it doesn't matter. The Lord's got this. Think of watch, watch this. Now don't swing soap on everybody. Make bubbles. You may have to blow them. You ready? You ready? Watch this. Watch this. Watch this. Watch this. Now you have to blow them. But watch this. You remember the Lord showed up. We've had two tongues, two and three. The Lord's in the house. The Lord's here to heal your heart. The Lord's here to break depression. The Lord's here to break anxiety. The Lord's here to break. What was I said? I'm unloved. I don't feel like I matter. I don't keep blowing. I don't feel you go ahead. Jesse. Just take a minute and enjoy the presence of the Lord. Amen. There you go. There you go. There you go. Bubbles, bubbles, bubbles.

SPEAKER_08

Bubbles, bubbles, bubbles. Go ahead, Jess. Whatever you want to say.

SPEAKER_09

So father is there playing with bubbles. I thank you that the job of the Lord is our strength. Mother is letting me. Lord, I thank you that you come on us to rejoice. Like you and I'll let me rejoice. Father and I thank you.

unknown

Come on.

SPEAKER_09

Get in the bubbles. Come on, they want in the bubbles. Get in the bubbles.

SPEAKER_08

Let me go get in the bubbles. Bumbles. Come on. Let me go snarl. Let me everybody look at me.

SPEAKER_09

Everybody take a deep breath. New sheriff in town. I got to do what I want to do. Because they gave me authority. Now watch this. If you don't like it, blame Sarah. She bought us the bubbles. It's Sarah's problem. Anyone feel lighter? Raise your hand. Raise your hand. Yeah. Feel freer in Jesus? You know what? You don't have to wait till Todd Hill comes to have fun in Jesus, right? You know what? Every morning when you get up, rejoice in the Lord. Take it. Blow some bubbles. Take it, kid. Go get ice cream. You know? Go. Enjoy. Alright, last statement. I'm close. I'm gonna let Dan close out in prayer. Last statement. My wife is smarter than me. Okay? You did say amen on that, didn't you? Yeah, you want to record that? She's got it. My wife, Michelle Hill is smarter than me. My wife, Michelle Hill is smarter than me. About 28, 29 years ago, she made this bold statement. And this is it. Enjoy where you're at, while God's taking you wherever He's taking you. Don't get so concerned about what's going to happen down here or when am I gonna don't enjoy the moment that you have in Jesus today. You may not wake up tomorrow. If you do and you're born again, it's a great thing, okay? I mean, don't get me wrong, to live as Christ to die is getting to be absent with the bodies, be present with the Lord, okay? But what I'm saying is, enjoy this journey that Jesus paid full price for you to have. Did you notice that that he he literally danced? They say when one sinner repents, what does it say? There's joy in the midst of the angels. You know why? I believe Jesus has his robe up and he's just dancing because somebody else gave their life to him. He's got great joy. He is joyful, amen. The joy of the Lord's our strength means he has joy that he gives us. The fruit of the Spirit. Anyone in here not born again, raise your hand. You're gonna give your life to Jesus. Anyone? All right, praise the Lord. So anybody else in here that did you have pain in your body before? You don't have now. If you do, just raise your hand. Just check your body. One, thank you. Two, thank you. Three, thank you. Because, oh, Mary Hart does good like a medicine. It is. The kingdom is that simple. Don't make it too hard for people. It's that simple. Amen. Dan, take it or I won't shut up.

SPEAKER_12

Hallelujah. What a wonderful day. Don't worry about tomorrow, it'll take care of itself, right? Amen. Amen. We were sitting out there on the porch uh uh yesterday, I guess it was, and I was talking to uh Todd and uh saying something like, well, next year at the men's conference, he's like, don't worry about next year, just worry about today. And I'm like, amen. Amen. What the good is it gonna worry about tomorrow? Tomorrow, then tomorrow, then you then today's been made visible for you. So go to the Dollar General, we got plenty of them and buy you some bubbles and and take them to work and blow them at your boss. There you go. If you're at the boss, enjoy for your employees, right? So hallelujah. So what a great day. Go out and love on somebody. Uh be back here Wednesday night for prayer at 5 45, service at 6 30. Pastor Sarah and I'll be in Kentucky, but we'll still be having service, and then we'll see you guys Saturday night for prayer and back Sunday morning. So, hallelujah. God bless you guys.
