Welcome back to The Gathering Tabernacle Podcast. Today's episode we have several different speakers sharing a testimony of healing, a young boy name Grady being obedient to what the Lord has called him to do, and a vision shared with the church. Remember that when you feel defeated with no way out, someone is watching to see your response. Your response can bring them to Christ or steer them away. Know that the Lord your God is safety. When you step into Him and be His living vessel, there is no fear. All we are to do is to honor God in every circumstance. This is not possible in your own strength, however with God all things are possible. There are opportunities everywhere you go to share the gospel.

SPEAKER_09He leads me beside peaceful streams. And I thought, you know, a lot of people have sound machines now, and it's the stream, and when it's peaceful, it's just like an air, a fresh breath. He renews my strength. When I'm weak, he makes me strong. He guides me along right paths. He's never wrong. Bringing honor to his name. When he leads you by the right path, it brings honor to him. The only thing we're supposed to do is to bring honor to God. Even when I walk through the darkest valleys, so we're gonna go through some stuff. I will not be afraid. Because he's close beside me. And I had to relate that to like Dan. When I'm with Dan, I don't fear when we're walking and the barking dogs come and they're vicious and they're running at us. I just step over beside him. There's safety in people like that. Our Lord is that. He's our safety. When we step over in him, there's no fear. There's no fear. Your rod and your staff protect me and comfort me. I thought about Daniel. He killed the lion and the bear when they came after his sheep. Your God enemy. And I used to think, but I've repented of this. Ha ha. My God prepares a feast for me and my enemies and let them look at me. And the Lord said, no, no, Sarah, you look at that wrong. Everybody wants to go to grandma's house for chicken dinner. We know what it's like to be at grandma's house and have a meal or have a family dinner. There's something about being in a group when you prepare food. It's covenant. And the Lord said, it's like Daniel and the Lion King. You know, he went against what the king's decree was that he couldn't bow to his God. And the king didn't want to, but he had to put him in the lion's den. But he asked him this before he put him in May your God, whom you serve so faithfully, rescue you. And then he did. The next morning he said, it um he said he did it. Your God rescued you. So think about this. When you're in a turmoil and it looks like you're not gonna make it, somebody's watching. And it's gonna show them that your God is alive and he's not dead. It's gonna bring honor to our God. I thought, hallelujah! And he will anoint your head with oil because you're a king and a priest. It will flow from down from you to your next generations. I thought, yes. And surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me. He's pursuing you. He's not running from you, he's not hiding from the house of the Lord. This right here, if you are a child of God, is the temple of God and you live in the house of the Lord. So let's serve, let's love, let's receive what He has for us. Father, we love you. You are so good, you are so faithful. This morning, as we get ready to worship you, Lord, may we worship you and know you on an intimate way. May we understand that you are pursuing us, that you've made us the head and not the tail. We are above and below. You have fought the battle of our enemies as we rest in you this morning, Lord. Let us give you praise in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen. Let's stand as we get ready to worship Him. Hallelujah!
SPEAKER_08Do you realize that your salvation means something? It doesn't mean you just get to go to heaven when you die, but you get to carry the kingdom of God right here on earth. He sets you free, and you are a new creation in Christ, and you are seated in heavenly places. Not in the future, but you are seated in heavenly places right now. Right now you get to bring the kingdom of heaven! Right now you get to host his presence! Right now you get to carry his glory and reflect his life! God is what your salvation is for! So sing this song and realize that you are truly made for more! Not just to get five! Not just to survive! But to carry the living God on the inside of you!
SPEAKER_01Hallelujah, Lord Lord! Hallelujah, King of Kings, Hallelujah, Lord, the name above all things! The name that every knee shall bow and every time shall confess. Who should I tell you that I am? Who should I say? What's your name? Who are you? He said, just just tell him I am! Just tell him I am I'm telling you today. In a lot of times we think name of all everything in this world that has a name every time every bath has a name It's a name of every night, it's a name of the name of it's a name of it's a name of it's a name of your rack, it's a name of your name of all the name of And when you realize who you are a cry, when you realize what you have a crime, when you realize that he loved you so much, that he that God loved you so much that he gave us only because we talk about that when God loved you so much that he chose to come and take a flash and dwell among you so we can tell with our with our our our weak minds, if we can tell with our minds what it looks like, what God looks like, and he said, if you've seen the son, you've seen the father, and I'm telling you, Jesus is the name of my life, he's the one that's gonna took you out of the pit and put you in the promised land. He's the one that's taking you out of anxiety and putting you in love, he's the one that's taking you out of life, and putting you in prosper. I'm telling you, that's the God we serve, that's the one we serve. You know, you're you're blessed to be a Christian, you're blessed to be Christ-like, you're blessed to be in Christ because in Christ you're a new creation. The old things are gone, behold, all things have become new. We praise you and we honor you in Jesus' mighty name. Amen, amen. Amen. What an awesome day to be in the house of the Lord. You know, you know, you you you're you're blessed. You're blessed, you're blessed and highly favored. You're you're blessed. I don't know if Andrew got it, but did you get that, Andrew? Isaiah 61, 51. Isaiah 51. You're blessed. You're blessed. Yeah, but I'm only I'm only one person. I'm only one. No, no, you're blessed. But I feel like I'm all alone. I feel like I'm the only one in my family. No, you're blessed. You're blessed. Verse 2. Verse 2, did I put 23? Man, what a great day. Palm Sunday. No. Actually, Palm Sunday was over 2,000 years ago. Yeah, amen. Resurrection Sunday was actually 2,000 years ago, but but we're celebrating what he did. You know, if we got there and, you know, if Grady was up here and was like, oh man, Grady was born today, and he's like 12 years old right now, and you're like, oh no, no, no, I was born 12 years ago. No, he was raised from the dead over 2,000 years ago to give you life and life more abundantly. He was raised from the dead over to name above all names would actually come to life. He was raised over 2,000 years ago. You know, I was thinking, you know, next week you can come back and get a glimpse, but but uh, you know, uh he says, I am the resurrection, and when when that resurrection comes to life, his promises come to life. His promises come to life. So I'm telling you, next week you won't want to miss it. Uh it's gonna be fire and to understand the promises are yours. The promises are yours, and it's exciting to see see people real beginning to realize you know the the identity they have in Christ, the authority they have in Christ. You wasn't sent, you wasn't put here just to be a miserable person trying to make it through until you make it to heaven. He said, the kingdom of heaven is at hand. I'm telling you, you know, man, I can't wait till I get to heaven, so I'll be healed. See, see, you're you're a three-part being. You're a spirit that has a soul that lives in a body. You're you're a three-part being, right? And when you're born again, the spirit of God comes in and lives inside of you. So the spirit, just like when Jesus was born, like when Jesus was born, he was born from above. He was born from the Father. So the Spirit of God came in, went inside Mary, and she conceived. So if Jesus couldn't have been born of God, then we couldn't be born again from God. Right? So your spirit is just as pure now as it's going to be in heaven. But all this stuff that's going on with you, I'm telling you, there's freedom for that, and there's freedom for that in this house today. You know, I say, you know, we're a three-part being, spirit, soul, and body. You know, God's a three-part being in one too. God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He's three. And it relates to us. And I'm telling you, there's freedom in the Christ of Jesus, there's power in the name of Jesus, and you are blessed. So think about it. Think about Abraham, your ancestor, and Sarah, who give birth to your nation. Right? So Abraham was, I think, believe it was 75. He was 75, and the Lord said, I'm gonna make you a great nation. Right? When he when he was 75. And they said, in Abraham, it was counted to him as righteous. He he believed what God said, right? And praise the Lord, he kept believing what God said because it was it was 25 years until Abraham had the promise son. It was 25 years. When Abraham was 100, they had the promise son. And you know, along the way, he tried to do stuff on his own. A lot of, don't we try to, well, God needs some help. You know, I've been praying for him to do this, and I've been praying for him to do that. Well, well, how long you've been praying for him to do that? How long you've been believing him for do that? Well, 15 minutes. Oh, okay, so so 15 minutes you've been believing that God will do it. But I'm telling you, God's already done it. And we stand on the promises that that it's already finished. By his stripes you were healed. When you were healed, it's something that you receive, it's something that you walk to. Well, God, and if you will start confessing out of your mouth what the word of God says, sickness can't live in the life of a born-again believer. Sickness can't live in the life of a child of God. So hate can't live in there, depression can't live in there, critical spirits can't live in there, judgmental spirits can't live in there unless you decide to. I think I'll just make a room that my critical spirit can just live in there with me. But no, we don't want no critical spirits. We don't want no judgmental spirits, we want life. So, Abraham. Abraham, say this with me. Abraham was only one man when I called him. But when I blessed him, when I blessed him, he became a great nation. So I'm telling you, when you're here today, if you're born again, God has blessed you. God has blessed you, and you're a great nation. Well, I don't feel like I'm a great nation. Well, that's why we walk by faith and not by sight. You are a great nation. You you are, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things are gone. Behold, all things have become new. Not some things have become new, all things have become new. And we walk on that and we stand on that and we keep moving on that. You know, we're we're standing on the promises of God. You have authority.
SPEAKER_02Hello?
SPEAKER_01Hello, hello? Yeah, hey. Oh, you're coming to rob my house? Yeah, okay. Uh when are you gonna be here? An hour. Okay, an hour. Okay, I don't worry. Hey, thanks for calling. Yeah, I appreciate it. Honey? They're coming to rob the house. I guess we better enjoy the milk. Maybe we better eat the last bit of honey. So, what would you do if someone was gonna rob your house? You'd be like, you know what, we better call in the troops. You know what, we better, we better pull out the guns. You know, we believe in right to bear arms. You know, we better block the door. We better, we better pray for that. You know what? We're gonna be prepared when the enemy tries to come and break in our house. So just like us in our lives, we've got to be prepared when the enemy tries to come in, because you're the house. He tries to come in your house, he tries to put stuff on you. Miss Pat had done that to her the other night. Yeah. Amen. I'm like now, Miss Pat, stand on what the word says. Amen. Amen. Praise the Lord. You're you're a threat to you, you know, when you're a threat to the kingdom, the the enemy's gonna come after you. Right? Well, the enemy had never come after me. Not yet. Amen.
SPEAKER_07Well, this morning, um we we come early and we pray before worship happens. And when we were praying, the Lord showed me a an image. I don't know if it's a graph or a map or something, but it was like the depth of the ocean. Have you guys ever seen that? Okay, so when you go out in the ocean, there's it it's not very deep, but like it's more shallow for a while, or like a few miles. And then it just starts to drop and the depth gets incredible. And I was like, okay. What is that about? And we went on and uh prayer started, and only third spoke the word depth to me, and I was like, okay. And later on he said eventually the depth outweighs the depth. So I really feel like that was a word for this body because we I I truly believe that we have a lot more depth than we realize because when we're on the surface, we don't behind us, we don't know which direction we're going in. And when you're in the depth, you find something very similar to that as well.
SPEAKER_01The depth outweighs the death. Amen. So that's one of them you write down and put it there so you remember it. Last night when we was here when we was together around in prayer, I encourage you to be in our prayer meetings. We got three prayer meetings a week. Uh Wednesday night, 5 45, before service at 6 30, Saturday night, 5 o'clock, and uh the Sunday morning at 9 30, and and last night we was all gathered around here praying, and and I was asking them, you know, speak out that gives you revelation of. Because we can sit there and we we can read scripture after scripture and we can say thing after thing, but until we have full revelation of what it said, then it then then it's just words. But when it becomes revelation, you know, the the the death out the depth outweighs the distance, uh then once you have revelation for that, then then it's written on the tablets of your heart. And then when it's written on the tablets of your heart, when you're out in a place or when you're in a place uh that you need it, then then you can sit there and you can just just pull that off your off your heart because our adversary the devil goes around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. See, see, he he cannot devour you. He don't say our adversary the devil goes around devouring everyone. Our adversary the devil goes around seeing whom he can devour, to see the ones who don't have that root planted deep, to see them ones that, man, they're their their face a mile wide but but only an inch deep, and then when the wind blows, you know that the trees start blowing down. But no, that them ones that are that are planted on the rock that are planted on the solid ground. So amen. Great word. Encourage it. Get out and be inviting people to come. You know, but everyone wants a church. I'm not maybe that's not the best way. Most people want a church. Most people want to be loved, most people want to want to go. And and you know, a lot of them excuses, well, why didn't you go? Well, because I wasn't invited. So let's not have that excuse for our neighbors, for our friends, for our cousins. Let's not have that excuse for them. So, you know what? Man, won't you come and and and come and be a part of our family? Come and join with us, man. We we would love to have you. And and that's every Sunday, but you know, when Resurrection Sunday comes up, people really start getting it on their mind. Resurrection and Christmas. So be out and biting, be out and loving people and come in and and uh let's see what the Lord has for them. So uh now we can prepare for our giving. I'm excited. We got a surprise for you today, some of you know, but uh you know it it's exciting to to sow into the kingdom of God. Well, that's why I don't go to church. All they want's my money. No, I don't want your money. I uh I want you to be blessed. I want you to be blessed. You know, Abraham gave tithes to Michelek, right? Give you tithes to Michelzedek. And and you know, we trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, you know. Uh you know, to trust in the Lord, but I'm not gonna trust him with my mind, will, and emotions. I I'm not gonna trust him with my flesh. No, no, no, we we trust him with everything. We trust him with our our finances, we trust him with our heart, we trust him with our decisions we make, we trust him with every aspect of our life. So so to know when you're when you're giving uh that you're sowing into the kingdom of God, and and you know that that's the best place there is to sow. The best place to sow is to sow into the into the kingdom of God because it's good ground and it's fruitful. So you're taking your seed and you're sowing it into good ground and it multiplies. So, Father, we praise you, Father, we thank you, Lord, uh, that we get to sow into the kingdom of God, Lord. Lord, we speak blessings, Lord, over this these finances today, Lord. We speak kingdom finances, Lord. Lord, that uh money is a a tool, a tool, Lord, to to meet our needs, a tool, Lord, to further your kingdom, Lord, Lord, that that uh people will be blessed more and more each and every day, Lord, because we trust in you with every part of our fiber of our being, Lord. We speak a hundred percent uh return over this money, Lord, a hundred percent potential, Lord, over the seed. In Jesus' name, amen. Amen, amen, amen. Hallelujah. We was blessed this week to uh go to Marion, Kentucky and set in uh uh meetings with uh Pastor Jonathan Shuttlesworth, and uh it was just uh life-changing. You know, the the Cantwells and the Wilsons was able to go with us or go also and and you know, just to be there and and be a part of it, and and uh they're on they plan uh they was planning on coming back on Tuesday and then they wanted to to stick around. And uh I thought, well, we can make this happen, we'll we'll check around and then we want to thank Chloe for stepping up and and uh and sharing the word and and and that's what what I think's exciting about the the word of God is you know, the word says to be ready in season in and out. Be ready at at any time. And and you know, we go out and and make disciples, so so it's not about, you know, hey, this is Pastor Dan, his church. No, no, it's about him. It's about the kingdom, it's about making disciples, it's about being prepared, it's about about equipping you to go out and do the work of the ministry. You know, each and every one. Well, well, I don't have a I don't have a church. Well, no, you do have a you do have a place to to share. Do you have a job? Do you go to Walmart? Do you go to the gas station? You go to family reunions, do you go to ball games? I mean, I mean there there is opportunities everywhere you are and to equip you to know that that they you know no matter how much the world tries to break you down. See, that's what the world does. The world tries to break you. Well, you're nothing, you're just this and that. No, I'm a new creation in Christ. The old things are gone, behold, all things have become new. His word said to go lay hands on the sick and they will recover. His word said to go tell them the kingdom of heaven is at hand, and that's who I am. I'm gonna do that, I'm gonna preach that, and I'm gonna stand on that. So I want to thank um everyone for for stepping up on Wednesday night. That was fabulous, and we love you guys. And then uh, so we were there. Uh uh Corland had said, you know, uh man, the kids were crying because they didn't know if it was gonna be able to come back or you know, if we were gonna have to stay or get to stay or come back or whatever. And I was like, oh yeah. I was like, well, Grady, you want to preach on Sunday? Uh uh. Uh-uh. And then a couple minutes later he came up and he's like, Well, I'll preach on Sunday. And I thought, well, Amen. Amen. That's what I'm thinking. That's what I'm thinking. You know what I'm thinking? Then you start, you know, thinking, Hallelujah. You know, you know, childlike faith to get up in front of uh people and and speak the word. Amen. And it's in all of us. So I think he's gonna ask testimonies from from several people, but uh you ready, Grady? Let's get it. Come on. Oh, I like that shirt. What's that shirt say?
SPEAKER_06Faith is an action.
SPEAKER_01What's that?
SPEAKER_06Works is dead.
SPEAKER_01What's works?
SPEAKER_06Action.
SPEAKER_01Faith without action is dead. Amen. Good job. Well, here you go. How about we pray for you? Hallelujah. Father, we praise you. Father, we thank you, Lord. We thank you, Lord, for grady, Lord. We thank you, Lord, for childlike faith, Lord. But Lord, we thank you, Lord, that there is no junior Holy Spirit, Lord. Lord, so Lord, as you just pour out through Grady this morning, Lord, right now, Lord. From the top of his head to the tip of his toes, Lord. Lord, may every word that's coming out of his mouth, Lord, just be yours. In Jesus' mighty name. Hallelujah. You know, I'd ask him. I'd I was like, I got him over here for service. Grady? Holy Spirit give you that message. Yes. Amen. It's like all we need to know, right? Amen. Amen. And he's like, Pastor, you want to do the altar call or you want me to? Yeah. So the Holy Spirit gave you an altar call. Yeah. I'm not the one to stand in the way of that then. Amen. So come on. Amen.
SPEAKER_06We were glad to be in the house of the Lord today. Andrew uh the Acts four thirty. Will you extend your hand to heal and signs and wonders take place through the name of your holy servant Jesus? John four forty-eight. Jesus asked, Will you never believe in me unless you see miracle signs and wonders? Jeremiah thirty I will give you back your health and heal your wounds, says the Lord. For I will for I called an outcast through Jerusalem for whom no one cares. Mark once left the synagogue with James and John. They went to Simon and Andrew's home. Now Simon's mother-in-law was sick in bed with a high fever. They told Jesus about her right away. So he went to her bedside, took her by her the hand, and helped her sit up. Then the fever left her and she prepared a meal for them. Joanne, are you ready?
SPEAKER_05So about in three it would be three years in um March, June. Um I was diagnosed with um alpha gal, basically. Um I could not have anything mammal, which is anything that gives like live birth. And um and I also had a cheese allergy. Um so like when I would eat those things, I would get like really sick and be sick for like at least two or three days. And it was like awful. And so I was struggling with not being able to eat things that everybody else got to, and I was basically just jealous of everybody. And like I would pray and ask God to heal me, and I would see other people getting healed, and I was it and it was just making me really mad and jealous of other people. And this week, um well last week I started eating um cheese and stuff and it wasn't affecting me, and I was like, Oh, I just ate a little bit. Normally a little, but it doesn't affect me or anything. And so I wasn't thinking anything about it. And um Monday night Jonathan Gelsworth uh said, put um your hand on the area that you have problems with and it's my stomach, and um because I had like a lot of acid reflex and um basically just a lot of acid reflex and um I put it on there and I felt like this burning and like it almost was like it felt like acid reflex coming coming up, but nothing came up, so didn't think anything about it, and then the next day I wanted some biscuits and gravy at the hotel, so I ate some biscuits and gravy and the sausage and I ate those for about three days and I haven't had a reaction, and I ate steak the other day and steak last night, so I'm healed.
SPEAKER_04Okay, so as some of you uh know, um I I used to have hyperkyphosis and then I got healed like from Chris McDonald. Well, it came back because I wasn't sitting properly and straight. So and when whenever at the same time Jolene got healed of Alpha Gal, um I put my hand on my back and I didn't notice anything new because my back still hurt because we were standing and sometimes that hurts. And um the next morning I realized and I woke up with lots of energy, which doesn't happen, um that I had slept on my stomach. And usually it hurts because my back is curved forward during hyperditosis. So that happened. I stood up, my back popped three times, that doesn't happen. And mom said that my back looks straighter. And I haven't had problems with back pain or any of that. My boss said, My back has been popping a lot.
SPEAKER_06Come on, Dad.
SPEAKER_02Um So Grady's speaking on miracles and stuff that the Lord has done in New Year's Eve. Um a lot of you have already heard the testimony, but um I was trying to carry the burden of my kidney issues myself. I was trying to fix it with water and drink all the water I can to flush them and do all the things, eat right, do the right things that I'm supposed to do in our flush, right? And but I was carrying the weight of that myself. I wasn't releasing that to the Lord, I was trying to take care of it myself. And so the day that I I got in the water on New Year's Eve, I I didn't want to take any burdens into this year. I didn't want to take any weights, anything I was carrying. And I said, Lord, I give it all to you. And that day um I'd agreed with my kidney stuff. I didn't really know it. And uh Pastor Sarah saw something on me and she she commanded that to come off of me and it did. And ever since that day, it got so bad, I I mean, I was peeing so many stones, I'd have to sit down and use the bathroom. I couldn't stand. It hurt that bad. But the Lord healed me that day. I I haven't had any issues at all. I mean, I'm completely I go to the bathroom normal, nothing, nothing hurts anymore. And that's the Lord we serve, because he took the stripes for our healing. And then the next week, I mean, he's just such a miracle worker. I've wore glasses since I was eight years old. My dad's here, he can tell you that. I wore glasses. He didn't even realize he had done it until I went to drive home and my glasses were blared because I couldn't see. And I took my glasses off and I saw perfect. So the the Lord Jesus is great. He's trying to tell him, Grady, come on, is our healer. He didn't just pay for us to go to heaven and be with him. He paid for it all. He paid for everything. And so as Grady finishes his sermon here, he's what he's doing is he's building your faith with scripture and with testimonies. Because the spirit of testimony is the spirit of prophecy, which means do it again, Lord. Do it again. So if you're in this room and you you've had these issues that are bringing up, or even others, say, Lord, show me if it's my day. Show me where I need to be. Show me if I there's something that I'm holding on to that I need to get rid of. Show me what it is, and the Lord's gonna meet you right there in that spot today.
SPEAKER_06Who wants to be healed from sickness in their body? Well, can my altar team that I had picked out come up? Whoever has something going on, they want to get rid of it, just come to someone over here, they'll pray with you. Isaiah but he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins, he was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed. All of us like sheep have strayed away. We left God's path to follow our own. Yet the Lord laid on him the sins of all of us.
SPEAKER_01Mike to come up here for a second. You can be seated.
SPEAKER_00Dan called me up here and I'm like, what wonder why he's calling me up here? And I'm like, I guess because I'm supposed to say something. But but I but I wish, you know, I I think about Grady, you know, and and when he when he when I asked, you know, I said, you know, I got some pain in my body and I have kind of a broken heart for my wife's heart. You know, these are things. And as he laid his hands on me and he goes, you know, anything that's not of Jesus be gone in the name of Jesus. I'm like, hallelujah. And uh I go, is it that easy? He goes, it's just that easy. And I think, you know, as we as people, we make it harder. It's it's that easy. If your fa if your faith is in him and you receive what he has for you, and go, I receive that, and I believe that. And and and that's how easy it is. You know, I don't think that God wanted to make it too hard. He said, childlike faith. So if we believe like a child, I receive it, and he gives it to me, and I and I believe it. And and I walk in it, and I do it, you know. You know, sharing with people, and they go, well, I believe in Jesus, and we go, well, okay. And so their actions show what they believe. And so that's the way we are. We're just we're just, you know, I look about and I think, man, we are all believing believers in this church. It's good stuff. Anyway, thank you, Grady. I appreciate what you said.
SPEAKER_01Like it it really is that easy. You know, do you believe that if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart God raised him from the dead, you will be saved? Do you believe that as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become a child of God? Do you believe if you if you turn from your sin and turn towards him, you'll be saved? Amen. So what's the difference on healing and deliverance? There's real there is no there is no difference on healing and deliverance. You know what it says a man was in the temple and had this withered hand. And they're sitting there and you know, you know, like like Palm Sunday, you know, they were excited Jesus was coming into town. They were laying down branches, they was laying down their their coats, and they were doing, but but but not everyone was excited Jesus was coming in town. I mean, if you haven't read, like like it's Palm Sunday, and then in eight days, seven days, whatever you want to call it, from Sunday to the next Sunday, it's it's Resurrection Sunday. So we went from, man, we're excited to see him come into town to to what are we gonna do? And there was the the the religious ones because he went in and he messed with their theology. He messed with their thought they're gonna take away their authority and their identity, and and and Jesus just kind of like, you know, you know, is it that easy that you just just believe and it happens? You know, that there was a there was this man with this this this weathered hand, and and it was on a Sabbath, and you know, they're trying to keep the the rules of this of this Sabbath, and and so they're trying to you know look at Jesus just to see if he would heal on the Sabbath. You know, you know, but everywhere anytime he healed they had a problem with it, but but they definitely have one on this Sabbath, and there's a man with a weathered hand, and he just says, Reach out your hand. And I don't know if you've ever seen a person with a with a weathered hand, but but they they don't just reach out their hand, but but but they just believed on the word of God that that he could reach out that hand, and that hand was made well on them. And he's like, Well, I can't believe he done that on the Sabbath. I can't believe what he done on the Sabbath. And then then Jesus is like, I'm the Sabbath. Like Jesus said, Well, we gotta have a have a day of rest. No, we have you have a life of rest when you're a Christian. You you have a have a life because he comes so we can have life, so my rest is in him. And he says, Come to me, all you are weak and heavy laden, and I will be on me. But it says, Learn from me. So so he is our Sabbath and he is our rest. So we can all stand. We put up my verses, Andrew. Was it I think it was Luke, but I want to start in 41. So this is where where Jesus they've laid down these palm branches, and in there it says, I didn't say it before, but but I mean these people were excited to see Jesus for all the the miracles they had seen him do. And and they were, you know, the the talk one of the gospels talks about how Lazarus, uh the people that saw Lazarus raised from the dead were living there, and they they were all they were all in there and they were all with him. And then this is just right after that. It says, But as but as he came closer to Jerusalem and saw the city ahead, he began to weep. How I wish today that you of all people would understand the way to peace. You know, you know, you know, and can you can can you think it just think about that? Like, you know, like Jesus is there, and and and they're gonna crucify him, and they're gonna put him on a cross. And he's like, man, Jesus, like, well, you're the father, you're devil, and and you're this and you're that. And he's like, you know, well, if you would have known me, you would have known the father. You know, because Jesus had had the fire of the father, fire to the father, heart of the father. So so Jesus is is peace. You think, you know, when I used to watch the Miss America pageant, I don't know if it assume it's still on. I don't know. I'm not against the Miss America pageant, but what do you want? World, do they still say world peace? Probably so. What do you want? World peace. You know, but but Jesus didn't come so the world would have peace. Now he came so you'd have peace in your world. In your world, not but not world peace. You know, he says, He says, I come to bring it bring a division. I come to bring a division. But I'm telling you today that there is peace and there is life in Jesus. But now it is too late because peace is hidden from your eyes. So then when he went to the cross, peace was hidden from his eyes. But now that he's resurrected, peace and life is here for you to receive today. 44 says, They will crush you into the ground and your children with you, your enemies will not leave a single stone in place because you did not recognize when God visited you. And in the New King James Version it says, it says, and they will not leave in you one stone. And I was thinking about that. And they come after you, and they're trying to take your your religion, they're trying to take what you believe. Do you really believe that that it's that simple that that that I can I can give my life to Jesus in just a split second, that I can be healed in just a just an instant, that that I can be delivered from the torment that's going on my life with just agreeing with what the word says? Do you really believe that? And and well-meaning good people say some of the stupidest stuff, but but Lord, please, Lord, may our may our lips only say what you'd have us to say, Lord. Lord, may they only speak life, Lord, and I thank you, Lord, that today in this house, today is life abundantly, Lord. Lord, I thank you, Lord, that right now you're drawing people closer to you, you're drawing hearts closer to you, Lord. And it says, and then and then Jesus went in the temple, you say you're the temple, and he began to weep. And then it says that then he went in the temple and he began to drive out. But you have to understand that you're the temple. So when you receive him as savior of your life, when you receive him as healer, when you receive him as deliverer, then he begins to work inside you, and he begins to drive out the things that that aren't pleasing to him, the things that are causing sickness, the things that are causing anxiety, the things that are causing hate and anger. And when you start presenting yourself to him, a living sacrifice, and and you start you know and you make up your mind, you know what, I'm not gonna be conformed to this world. I'm gonna be transformed by this, I'm not gonna walk by some of the things people say. I'm not gonna walk by by what the news says, I'm not gonna walk by what the doctor says, and I'm not saying not go to the doctor and not listen to the news. I'm saying stand on the word again. God, you may have you may have got a you may have got a diagnosis from the doctor that that said something like, I appreciate you, doc. I appreciate this, but doc, I'm standing on the word of God. You see, these eyes have seen too much to go back. I've seen cancer disappear. I've seen blind eyes open. I've seen deaf ears open. I've seen marriages restored. I've seen finances abundantly. I you know, you know, you know, I've seen it. I've seen it. He said, the scriptures declare my temple, say my temple will be a house of prayer. Thank you, Lord, that these temples will be a house to prayer. So I'm so I'm asking you today. Maybe you're here today. Maybe you're here today and you're like, you know what? The Lord spoke to me today, Lord. Thank you, Lord, because you do speak, Lord. You do speak. You speak to the lost and you speak to your children, Lord. Lord, because they have to hear you to believe in you, Lord. And we thank you, Lord, for ears to see, ears to hear, eyes to see. And maybe you're here today and you're like, you know what? I I want to receive Him as a Savior. I want to start living for Christ. You're right, I'm wrong. Lord, what you did pay for it all. Lord, I turn from my old way of life, and I turn from you, and I turn from sin. And when you turn from sin, it says, Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. You know, you think, well, sin, hate, anger, and all this of that. No, no, no, God loved you so much that He took on your nature of sin. He took on your nature of sin. And when you give your life to Christ, you get a you your old nature is gone and you receive a righteousness nature of Christ. And he begins to work on you from the inside out and free in you. See, you see, I you know, we can look at you and say, Well, you need to quit doing this and start doing that, but but I have no idea what the Lord needs to work on you first. You know, it might be different, different things for everyone here, but I'm telling you, today is the day of salvation. Today is the day that to receive him as Savior, today is the day you can step out of darkness into light. So I ask you. With eyes, heads bowed, all over the room here. I'm gonna ask you. Anyone here today? Anyone here today is like, you know what? I want to start living for Christ. Anyone? I want life and life more abundantly. Anyone here today, just raise your hand. Anyone today. That's what he does. He came to seek and save that which was lost. We thank you, Lord, that you're not a you're not a dead God. Muhammad or Buddha or any of them other false gods, Lord. Lord, but you are the living God. You are the great I am, you are the Alpha and the Omega. You are the beginning and the end, Lord. Lord, as we we stand on your word, Lord, for the freedom we have in Christ, Lord. Lord, we give you all the honor, Lord, we give you all the glory, and Lord, we give you all the praise in Jesus' mighty name. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. We'll see you Wednesday at 5 45 for prayer, service at 6 30. It's gonna be a fabulous week. It's gonna be the best week you ever had. Amen. It's gonna be the best week you ever had. Thanks for coming.
