Critique-Opolis
Jay & Louisa deliver a fiery, opinion fueled overview of movies, social movements, cultural behaviors and eating habits - dovetailed with a honey-based recipe and reviews of the most obnoxious movie/media news headlines we can get our eyeballs in front of. For our latest editions, we will be reviewing scripts from the infamous Hollywood 'Black List' (scripts with a ton of 'buzz' that have yet to secure a deal or go into production) - and adding our own casting and story development suggestions.

Fitzcarraldo - Boat Hauling in the Amazon with Pear & Brie Crostini
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Going back to 1982 for this Werner Herzog classic starring Klaus Kinski and Claudia Cardinale as Brian Sweeney Fitzgerald and Molly - two German expats living in the Amazon. Brian is a fanatical lover of opera who is having mixed success trying to bring refrigeration to the jungle. He schemes to enter the lucrative rubber trade and use the profits to build an opera house in the middle of the jungle and host the greatest European Opera stars for the day. With a loan from Molly, he commissions an old river boat and a drunkard crew to execute his plan. The big challenge, he has to get the boat from one river into another parallel river with nothing more than the Peruvian jungle and a mountain standing in his way. In the end, is it really a question of will?
Then, for, Dinner and a Movie' I have appetizers. Don't worry, this one has a short ingredient list.
Then, on The Blacklist, we cast the hotly anticipated, The Homestead.
