On this week’s episode of The extratime Football Podcast, Luke Jordan is joined by the Chief Football Writer from the Irish Daily Mirror Paul O’Hehir to discuss the latest news in Irish football. 

(0:24) On Part One of the show, Luke is joined by Donal Ryan, Macdara Ferris, and Paul O’Hehir as the lads discuss the main talking points from the last week in the SSE Airtricity League.  
Paul gives his take on Noel King’s first game in charge of Dundalk as the Lilywhites defeated Bohemians 2-0 in Oriel Park and shares his thoughts on the appointment. 

Macdara was on to dissect the match between Shamrock Rovers double header weekend as they have a mixed weekend of results, drawing with Galway and beating Drogheda on Monday night. The lads discuss the controversial incident of Monday night’s game with Jack Keaney shown a straight red card which has stirred up debate whether it was the correct decision or not. 

Donal dissects Sligo’s 3-1 loss to Drogheda last Friday night and gives his opinion on whether Bit O’Red fans should worry after no win in five. 

After, Paul gives the latest update on the FAI, the Hill resignation, still no manager, John O’Shea returning as interim and much more on this week’s episode.
