Speaker 1:

Happy anniversary, happy anniversary, happy anniversary.

Speaker 2:

Happy anniversary.

Speaker 1:

Cotman, Crawford and the Jersey Guy podcast.

Speaker 2:

Hey everybody, Kenny Cotman Lewis.

Speaker 1:

Crawford and I'm Tom Remmage, the Jersey Guy.

Speaker 2:

Hello, hello, hello. How was everybody doing? Happy one year.

Speaker 1:

Happy anniversary.

Speaker 3:

Happy anniversary.

Speaker 1:

Happy anniversary.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I guess so yeah.

Speaker 1:

Yes, so does anybody know where that clip I just came from?

Speaker 2:

No no.

Speaker 3:

I think I do, but I'll let you tell us.

Speaker 1:

It was from the Jerky Boy.

Speaker 3:

Oh, exactly.

Speaker 2:

Happy anniversary.

Speaker 1:

Happy anniversary. I forgot about that one.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I was going to go way back and say that I was great you were going to talk about the Flintstones.

Speaker 1:

Don't touch it in the back. He says touch it in the back.

Speaker 2:

That's funny as fuck. So happy anniversary, gentlemen, to our listeners One year at the Masuda yes, so I appreciate everybody for listening and liking and following and all that other good stuff. We're having a blast over here. Hell, yeah, yes, we are. We'll put touch in a couple of lives, making people better, happier. What other good shit in? Here Making you laugh, yes, definitely making you cry.

Speaker 2:

Yes, no, no, no, no, no no, no, no, no, no no no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, just all that. So that's all good man. So we're chilling a year in and we're still here and we're getting people listening and all that other good stuff. So again, I appreciate all of our fans. Yes, yes, so we're good. How are you feeling the other way? Is everything good?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, everything's great.

Speaker 2:

You're all right.

Speaker 3:

I'm good man, I'm pumped. We made a one year thing.

Speaker 2:

So now we want to do a little bit. We're not a little bit, pretty much a show talking about all our favorites and stuff.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, just kind of, you know, go from the. However, you want to start Just one sticking out right now in the head the first episode we did.

Speaker 1:

We were quick, called to figuring it out because that's exactly what the hell we were doing. No idea what we're doing.

Speaker 2:

Not a clue.

Speaker 1:

I mean, as you can see, we kind of progressed into our own on this show. We started we really didn't have, if you notice, there was a lot of echoing because we didn't really know how to figure out the microphones and stuff like that, and we were looking for, like what do we need?

Speaker 3:

how do we put something in between so we can?

Speaker 1:

cut the echo out, and then we figured out the sound blanket, sound blanket. At first we had something else, didn't we?

Speaker 2:

We were going to oh yeah, we were using the stuff that I brought over.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, it just didn't work. It was still the echoes. It would just do too much of an echo.

Speaker 2:

But also for those that don't understand what we mean, we record in Lewis's man cave. So you know hardwood floors, so everything echoes, right. So we have a little area rug and then we put a put up, we put up a sound blanket. So this, we just yeah, some more little spot where you guys can see it in our we had a couple of pictures up.

Speaker 3:

Yes, You'll see the pictures.

Speaker 1:

It's funny too because the first episode we did technically wasn't even our first episode, because we tried recording it more. Yeah, you know like it's again we. You know we had to, you know we tried. We're like oh, we'll just use our laptop. You can do that if you have two people, but if you have more than two people you have to get a sound board.

Speaker 3:

So we invest in a sound board. And then the sound board. We got the microphone.

Speaker 2:

It didn't work. Yeah, get a second one, another one.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, and then we said, fuck it, let's just get it, man.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, just get it and do it and make it happen.

Speaker 1:

So the first. There was a lot behind the first episode.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Little. You know we're talking about all this stuff that we had to go through just to get like you know what I said the first episode up.

Speaker 3:

How many times did we come here before we even got to the point where we?

Speaker 1:

were quite old, I was thinking it's like four or five times, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3:

Equipment didn't work or it was just so.

Speaker 1:

First episode was definitely a big one.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, it was, it was definitely it was fun because we we didn't know and we just went, had a good conversation.

Speaker 2:

It was just about whatever I think that's what a lot of people enjoyed. You know, enjoy about us. That's the feedback I get. You know that they just, and everybody feels like they're sitting at the table with us. You know what I mean? Yeah, they like that.

Speaker 1:

We want, we want everybody to be sitting with us, hanging out with us.

Speaker 3:

You know what I mean yeah, and that's.

Speaker 1:

you know, honestly, that's like one of the things is like most so far, I mean most aside from like one guest, like everybody you know, it's kind of been like a friend or someone we know.

Speaker 2:

You know what I mean. Yeah, friend to family.

Speaker 1:

You know. So it's always that vibe when we have people on the show too. It's like, yeah, you know, we're chilling, we're hanging out, we're we're BSing, we're friends you know what I mean.

Speaker 3:

So, and most of our guests I think all of them were in their own way were good. They just kept you know, they fell right into the conversation.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and just because they felt like you know it was great it was great and everybody was good, and yeah.

Speaker 1:

And I think maybe that's because you know a lot of podcasts are usually two people Right. We have three and I think because it gets too complicated with the equipment which we managed to figure out when you have more than two people, but yeah, we figured it out.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, and we're still figuring it out.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, exactly Exactly that's what we you know. We appreciate everybody that. You know comments. Let's us know what they're thinking feeling, seeing you know, and you know, just super appreciative. You know what was your favorite one, lou.

Speaker 3:

I don't know if I had a favorite one, I just think I like the ones. I mean, I do have ones that you know like.

Speaker 1:

the adoption one was the first one, right Well, that was the second top.

Speaker 3:

Well, that was the second one. But the first like the first yeah, first topic, but yeah, so that was a good one. I think that was a good that for that time when we first started right was perfect for us to do and everybody liked that one. I remember there was a lot of feedback, yeah.

Speaker 1:

I remember when, because you know, lou and I worked together. There was one of the store managers you told me he's like I'm adopted and he got, he liked. I don't know she liked the episode in one of the stores. Really, that's awesome, that's right.

Speaker 3:

It was in the Washingtonville store. Yeah, I won't say the gentleman's name, but yeah, kind of similar with you in a sense. So yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I even mentioned you and I was like you might know him you know, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3:

Maybe I'll take you over to you can meet him, because I still think he's in the store. Yeah, good guy, and he was like, yeah, he liked it. He, right there, downloaded on this phone when I told him, so yeah, I was getting people into because we were talking and telling everybody right so we which popped him, I think we still are. I mean, we're at a different place now, right?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, well, what we got business cards, all for those who don't know we got, we got t-shirts, that's right. Yes, my niece Cameron, she, she made the t-shirts and. Yes so we got to start. That's gonna be the next thing, man. Yes.

Speaker 3:

Look at those little crazy 90 hats you.

Speaker 2:

Well, she does all that stuff. So you know she does the t-shirts and what For my?

Speaker 1:

my friend, my, my mutual friend, a 90s out of Mm-hmm. Yeah, yeah, 90s Adam.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, have him on here too. Yeah, so we're gonna start, you know, hopefully getting into the merchandise stuff, because that would be kind of fucking cool all the way around. Oh yeah, yeah, you know, we can't, you know, yeah you know little damn nothing crazy more along the lines of you know we give them out to you know one or two, you know like give out a t-shirt for somebody, see somebody wearing. Yeah, you know things like that, ask them.

Speaker 3:

They'll tell you. They'll tell you.

Speaker 1:

This is interesting. No, our show started with like oh some, we talked about some deep.

Speaker 2:

Option life after death, depression. Well, that it was been a crazy year.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, it was. It was right after.

Speaker 1:

COVID and everything I think we were still in it.

Speaker 3:

I don't think it was declared.

Speaker 1:

It was still yeah.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, they said you don't have to worry it right kick. It came later on. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, no, we did. We didn't talk in some serious heavy shit. You know, you guys were in your feelings.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, we had you know it was good then, you know, but we talked about some other good stuff. I mean that's good.

Speaker 2:

The pressure. That's what's time. So we know which ones. Tom, like you, know he's like doing those were good up the generation gap.

Speaker 3:

One was good, that was funny, we had Ron. Goodstein here with us.

Speaker 1:

My good friend, by the way.

Speaker 3:

Yes um fun guy, very fun guy. And a fun guy he is. He's my friend.

Speaker 1:

He's a very funny man.

Speaker 3:

I'd a real whenever I think about it might just laugh, because he's just yeah he's that guy, shit that comes out of his mouth. So I'm just maybe think I'm happy that he was on the show. Yeah, you know so.

Speaker 1:

I used to have a very eccentric Teacher in like middle school and he used to be like I could say his name because it could be anybody. Right, mr paternal, he was really. He was far out there, but when he teach class he'd be like he were talking about, like fun, fun, guess right, it's not. He's not a fun, it's not fun guy, he's a fun guy.

Speaker 3:

In the class he would say this yes, okay.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, he was a fun guy. He was a weird guy, but he was a good kid. I enjoyed having his teacher. Oh, that's good.

Speaker 3:

At least. If you like the way he taught everything, then that's the best, the most positive anyway not to Vera.

Speaker 1:

Yes.

Speaker 2:

Squirrel yeah.

Speaker 3:

What about you, can I mean? Well, like he said, we got.

Speaker 2:

I was really digging, when we had Eric on that, like the first episode.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, it was cool. Yeah, that's my buddy.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I like I liked that.

Speaker 3:

I like having him on yeah, that was a good one, yeah, and he was here with us live Right, right, so that one. He didn't call this, it was the, I think the second one, right, yeah, yeah, yeah, well, too too of me, and him called him like cuz remember.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, cuz did two episodes cuz he was about being when you were out right. And then we have like four times on the show.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I think so. Yeah, I think he might be the most yeah, cuz then we had. Thank you, eric.

Speaker 1:

Or was it four times? Or was it only three times? Because I know, I know it came twice came here and then twice when you were out.

Speaker 3:

He did the one on the phone twice.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and that was it, that was it. I think, okay, yeah so even three.

Speaker 3:

I mean he's still the lead.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, you know.

Speaker 1:

He's gonna be the Alec Baldwin.

Speaker 2:

Yes, well, see, now you say that, and then Suzanne's gonna listen.

Speaker 1:

She's gonna be like oh yeah yeah, fucking yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, we all know each other yeah you see, that's the funny, that's the funny shit.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, she's gonna kick your ass first, cuz you have to go in there and is also friends with my.

Speaker 1:

We're all friends together, lindsay. And then Lindsay is Eric's wife, so okay, okay.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's freaking hilarious man. Yeah, yeah. And we have to give thanks to the Tanya man, cuz Tanya is.

Speaker 3:

Oh yeah, wow, just do it a computer stuff and why I said, yeah, she did a lot of that stuff for.

Speaker 2:

Mm-hmm, choose our producer for a minute. And now she's like, yeah, fuck you guys. Yeah, you learn this shit, you know, put in my feet up is over right, you know and she helps out.

Speaker 3:

Well, you know what?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, definitely a proverb, you know, for a lack of a better term because it's definitely not vegan, but you know, you know. Teach a man. Give a man a fish. You can eat a day.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, she could fish the rest of his life. She's doing issues. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. No, she did, you know. You know, just having heard that she just told us what a computer stuff, bro, because we were sitting here, we were getting ready by a DJ equipment, you know it was like yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1:

How you do. It's funny because Lou had on freestyle Music earlier. If he had the DJ equipment we could yes.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, see, no, what, bro? That's gonna be one of those things that we would be able to do the show. You know, a bunch of our listeners too I mean they, you know, listen to freestyle and whatnot. Oh, yeah, absolutely yeah. Rock music yeah, we gotta, you know, we gotta start doing that. What we gotta start a. I Guess referencing music would probably be the nicest way to say it yeah absolutely.

Speaker 2:

You know, Like just start singing songs because we do it when we're not on the air. Yeah, that's what I mean. You know we're sitting here and just start singing a song or quoting movies and stuff.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I could court movies, for I know all day.

Speaker 2:

Hell yeah, I've had conversations doing that.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I just yeah. It's just. It's like me and my friend, I'm gonna have Steve on eventually, but he just he's. He said he's down to do a geek episode.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, you know what, on location we go down there, we go down there, bring all your equipment. Yeah go hang out and just set up in this house.

Speaker 2:

We came over to do a podcast, yeah yeah, and it'd be cool because then if we take the wives and we stay like overnight the beach and stuff, how far from the beaches he lived like.

Speaker 1:

Getting crazy.

Speaker 2:

now I'm already crazy, but I'm just saying now All right, so far I think of it like a. We'll take the chopper in, bro, don't worry about it, it's not bad.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, no bullshit, yeah okay, I've driven it a long time in my life and if it was, it was like yeah keep driving, don't say anything because you might miss a mojo.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I remember I'd go on like a Sunday.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, well, on Sunday it's.

Speaker 3:

Maybe, maybe it's a little bit. They widen it up. Which one you?

Speaker 1:

take.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, the southern state or the Long Island Expressway? I?

Speaker 1:

Think it's southern.

Speaker 2:

He doesn't know how. You probably went to Corny Island. Well, wait, you coming from? Oh no, yeah, you will be sure is it. Yeah, that is Jersey guy, jersey guy. Joyzy guy Joyzy that is no one says joy, see yeah. I know that, I know we.

Speaker 1:

Know, I don't know where that came from. You know, you know who had, who had that stereotypical Jersey accent. I was telling you, nick, from from Rocky. Yeah but he could be he could have. It could have been yeah but that was way he talked is the stereotypical Jersey right, right which. I hear the stereotypical Jersey voice is a dork accent. They say yeah, okay. Nor, nor, nor. That's how. That's how people from Norq actually dork.

Speaker 2:

That's an ork Nork. So what topics would you like to? So what do you think? Oh, I'm sorry, my bad, what do you?

Speaker 3:

think which ones were Wons we could have did better. Was that anything that has stuck?

Speaker 2:

out. We're fucking golden. I don't think we need.

Speaker 3:

Like I thought, the the one I do when Kenny was gone, the paranormal one, I thought that one could be a little bit better. I Think we're doing good overall. No, I didn't mean that it was bad, don't get me wrong. I thought it was, it was good. I just thought that I I think we just that particular one. I remember getting caught off guard because of the way it didn't work out what, having him get on the line because we didn't figure out the phone thing.

Speaker 1:

Remember that was the first right?

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I think that's kind of so, but that's, we're gonna make that up with them later On anyway, so we have right coming up to to actually have them on the show see, now I'm going to do that, location you. If, if you guys are down to go do that, oh no, I'll sit outside.

Speaker 2:

You don't watch these TV shows to go, I'll sit the fuck outside.

Speaker 3:

I'll call them, I'll reach out to a mask, but hey, where are you? We'll come to you, we'll set up, we'll do the podcast.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, well, we could bring the curtain, sure we could do that Well we do it like in the van.

Speaker 2:

You know, I could say like, and and that's UV. You know, sitting the back of the SUV and just you know, we'll figure

Speaker 3:

something like that. But you know me, so like you would go. But how are we gonna talk to them just from the car to the house.

Speaker 2:

No, no, no, we like we do the phone hookups Right, yeah, that's how we do it. So we will hook up the phone and like, while you're inside doing oh, he means.

Speaker 1:

Oh, you mean like actually do like a walk through, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, you mean like go to a thing.

Speaker 3:

I got one of the paranormal yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah you gotta be a little bit more, so use your words, bro.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I mean really fucking get that in my bag. I know you're speaking in fucking English, but you know, if you were speaking maybe like that, I would put it on the sound what I said.

Speaker 1:

That could be a fun. I would do that. I'd be willing to do that.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I would definitely go in. I know he doesn't like it. Would you go in with me or no? And then we'll do shrooms, we'll go in, do all the here we go Bro, you never come to fuck out.

Speaker 1:

That would be very yeah.

Speaker 3:

I can reach out to him. There's gonna be want to do that instead.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, but I don't think they like to do on shrooms.

Speaker 3:

No, of course, yeah, I want to say On the way out no drug party yeah. Sorry there'll be no shroom.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, or any other take. Yeah, we could do that, you know, and that's what I was trying to say about right earlier right. Yeah.

Speaker 3:

That we try to do more of that stuff. So yeah, I agree. I think you guys yeah, yeah, you'll do it with me, right? If they, if I find an event, will just go and do it.

Speaker 2:

Well, I got to be outside monitoring the absolutely the mix it if so, we would have to have mics that he Somehow.

Speaker 3:

How would that work?

Speaker 2:

on your phone, so like I will plug in my phone. Well, no, I don't know the Bluetooth. Bluetooth work that far, so like.

Speaker 1:

I'll have to Bluetooth headset. So oh yeah, yeah, yeah, right you matter of fact the one you're wearing, bro, that does, one is perfect.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it does that. So that then yeah, because you can just get, like you know.

Speaker 1:

I have my ear buds, whatever.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, it all works and then, like I said, I plug in the phone to the, to the mixer and bank see folks, this is what we how we brainstorm yeah.

Speaker 3:

We're sidetracking a little bit.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, sorry, sorry, sorry.

Speaker 2:

But yeah, but this is. But again, this is what we wanted to do. Yeah, right, have people, you know, feel like they were sitting here at the table with us and making fun and whatnot. You know, I'm glad that we were able to talk about some serious stuff, you know we talked about a lot of good stuff trauma dreams.

Speaker 1:

Yeah egos, we're so many stuff.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and you know, between the three of us, we all, I, you know, we all have our little list, so hopefully we've got another.

Speaker 3:

I got a huge list already bro, yeah and I'm gonna, but it's probably a year's worth of stuff that I already have like written down right, Not to change the subject because well, I'm gonna still keep adding to that list, but you know what is a really good interview? Oh, cousin Irene was.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, she was a really good one. That was a great one. Yeah, so good.

Speaker 3:

She was perfect, so anybody not um, familiar with her show.

Speaker 1:

Uh, we had cousin Irene very early on. That is lewis's cousin. She used to work for mo brooks. So, she had some really great stories. Just talking about you know how she got into it, into how she met Mel Brooks. She had it's, really it's a good.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it was pretty cool asking about the movies and stuff and I'll tell you right now what episode number that is.

Speaker 1:

That is um, yeah, oh, yeah that is yeah. Yeah season two, episode four.

Speaker 2:

That's right. Yeah, yes and uh, it seems like we just did it right. Yeah, I know that's what I'm saying like already. You know this, so fucking fast. Yeah, so quick talking to my sister and she was like god already.

Speaker 1:

She's like yeah, no, that was bananas. Yeah, and that was february 17th. We aired that episode.

Speaker 2:

Holy cow.

Speaker 3:

Wow, yeah, that was a good episode. She was really good and I knew she would be and that and the she's brought exactly what I hope she was gonna bring, because I knew I, I know her, I know what kind of person she likes to have talk. She likes to tell you stories that my whole family was like that right my grandmother, my, my aunt Ruthie Uh, and then, of course, irene and Mary took over their moms you know, like, you know, my parents or whatever.

Speaker 3:

You know, that's just how it was. You know, right, everybody had something to tell. You know what I mean that's awesome, which is great.

Speaker 2:

You know that's awesome. Yeah, it should be cool to have back on. I mean, I think everybody that we had on, or any man, in all honesty, they needed more time to come back. You know, absolutely, yeah, yeah, matter of fact, it's gonna be cool, I think for our uh, I don't want to say six, a hundredth episode. Six, that should be 600. No, no, no. 100th episode, which would probably be halfway into a quarter way into our next season. Okay, we have Jenny back on to see how she's been.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, well, we'll see what happens when we get there. Yeah, yeah because she's one that I'm really excited to see how yeah, you know, or her stuff is turning out, we're her journey's taking her because yeah definitely. She launched her podcast on here.

Speaker 1:

So all that yeah.

Speaker 3:

Well stuff, so that'll be awesome yeah that'll be interesting to see where she is at that point.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I think that would be a good 100th episode.

Speaker 3:

Well, yeah, depending.

Speaker 2:

I think, because where are we now? Which that too soon, no, no, how many, how many episodes are Cause? Then we don't even know how many episodes we've done.

Speaker 1:

But you know what it is. Cause the way Buzzsprouts has it it's season two, episode 36, but then we had, I think, five episodes for season one.

Speaker 3:

Cause we.

Speaker 1:

We did it by the year. Like season one, we're just going to do year 2022, right.

Speaker 3:

Season two, 2023, just makes it easier that way we wouldn't have to have it split up with these arbitrary dates you know, yeah, yeah, no, no, no, Don't yeah.

Speaker 2:

Don't complicate it, and speaking of that too, everybody said that we're going to do what we said for December. We're we're going to just do one episode in December and then we're going to come back in January.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, we're going to come back in January. Take a break. You know it's the vacation time, family travel and all that stuff. It'll be too hard for us to do, right. Or you know we're just going to be busy with just the holidays as a whole, so it's a break and you guys have all these other episodes that'll be on there which will be you know you can go back and rest there, or if you

Speaker 3:

haven't listened to anything yet, cause I'm sure not a lot of people hit all of them. I shouldn't. Maybe some did, but if you haven't, just go back and find another one. There's a bunch of good stuff we have.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so season four is all I mean. Season one is only four episodes, so we're on. The last episode was 36. Okay, so 40 episodes, so this is four. This will be 42.

Speaker 2:

Okay, nice.

Speaker 1:

Cause the last episode was Suzanne and this one so right 42.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I think that'll be cool. There'll be enough time, to you know, for herself to grow. I just think that that'll be, and then again, maybe you know what it might be one of those where we just kind of call everybody.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

In that episode. Just call them up. Yeah, Five minutes each person.

Speaker 3:

All right, yeah right. Just call them up and say what the fuck are you? Doing right now? What? Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1:

Exactly, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. What's his name? Cause we? This is the only person that so far that we don't know personally. We'll call up the guy from the farm upon, oh yeah.

Speaker 2:

What the fuck are you doing, bro? How you doing Rob, rob, rob.

Speaker 1:

Just call Rob, Rob, Rob Rob.

Speaker 2:

Rob, rob. What's up, bro? What's up Rob?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, he like why are you calling?

Speaker 2:

me at midnight. You motherfucking shit.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, that would be great man, yeah, that would be funny man to do that.

Speaker 2:

Hell yeah.

Speaker 1:

We're like this is what I got into with this podcast.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, these motherfuckers yeah.

Speaker 3:

We still need to go.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, we do and visit them. We gotta figure it out because he's a.

Speaker 3:

I wanna see that place he only mentioned weekdays, but, like you know, we're all working. Is it open on the?

Speaker 1:

weekends at all. I don't know.

Speaker 2:

He didn't say anything about weekends, but he might be off, is what it is yeah, oh, that's true.

Speaker 3:

Well, maybe if we just told him that and say, hey, listen, it's hard for us because we work, maybe just meet us on the weekends. And then we do like one Saturday where we can meet for an hour or two and just walk around with you or something.

Speaker 2:

You know, what's gonna happen. You know, it doesn't hurt to ask. You know what I mean. Yeah, no, definitely, definitely. For sure, you know Because well, I mean, like I said, you know, he kind of shine light on something different.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I know, steve, I wanna actually visually see it, because it's like this is amazing to do this and how it's not taken off yet to the point where it should be. You know what I mean.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, no.

Speaker 3:

Well, that's a whole other subject. Right, right, right, but it's gonna have to at some point.

Speaker 1:

Someone's gonna pick up on it and just and hopefully someone good who does the right thing with it and just runs away with it. They are doing a lot of indoor grow. I don't know if it's vertical farming, but I know. He said like a lot of stuff that you buy in the grocery store is now made indoors. Okay, so like a lot of the greens, like spinach, I think he said when you buy that baby spinach Right, right, right.

Speaker 1:

And the cool part, though, about the vertical farming is and like all that it's not grow or hydroponics. I say in general, if you think about it like, you probably have to do minimal amount of washing on your greens.

Speaker 3:

Right, because there's no dirt on it.

Speaker 2:

There's no dirt.

Speaker 3:

There's no dirt there's no, no bugs, and you can regrow it if you cut off the bag.

Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah, yeah the stuff they sell in the supermarket isn't have the roots but the stuff he does.

Speaker 3:

You can regrow it, which is incredible. Yeah, that's awesome, and then no bugs in there, so they don't have all the pesticides and it's a free cycle, no pesticides, nice and fresh right then and there.

Speaker 2:

So I mean, yeah, dude, it'll probably be a whole other, just a whole other experience as far as eating your veggies and such. You know what I mean.

Speaker 3:

Yeah and yeah, and I love veggies. And if they taste even better, like he said. He said most people who've had this already don't even want to go to the supermarket and buy anything from the supermarket.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's just it's like you know what it's just like when you go to like Apple picking right.

Speaker 3:

Or you go like you can actually get the fucking better.

Speaker 1:

Example peach picking nothing. It's so underrated and we missed it this year too. We were gonna go, we didn't. But fresh peaches are way better than any peach you buy in the store. Like same thing with apples, but like peaches. Oh my God, I couldn't believe. Like I was like picking them off the tree and just eating them up.

Speaker 3:

I was like these are so good. We went up like you know what I mean, and then you go back to the store, shit, and you're like sometimes you get good stuff. Sometimes it's not as frequent.

Speaker 1:

It's like you don't know what you're gonna get. Right, that's funny, isn't it?

Speaker 3:

When we went to Apple picking at one time, that was good. Those apples were good.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, we were eating them up off the tree too.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, they're always so good, but peach picking, you gotta, you gotta.

Speaker 2:

I love peaches too, man.

Speaker 1:

A lot of the Apple orchards. They have peach trees. They just like like ox. That's right In where all the Apple orchards. What town is that? The New York Apple?

Speaker 3:

orchard. Well, there's one by in Middletown.

Speaker 1:

Well, they have the Apple Fest Right. What town is that where?

Speaker 2:

they have Apple Fest. You got me. I have no idea.

Speaker 3:

You know it's so funny cause Tanya was just there. Tanya was just there for us Soons. No, no, apple Fest it's in Over there.

Speaker 2:

I can't believe it, circleville.

Speaker 1:

Warwick.

Speaker 2:

Warwick. Warwick has everything, did you?

Speaker 1:

see the smoke coming out of their heads. Oh yeah, yeah, I see, I always think that. But there's a good orchard. I go to Ox and they have. They do all year round, except of their winter. They have some kind of picking, like they do strawberry picking, they do blueberry picking, they even do vegetable picking.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

And you can pick your own vegetables and stuff and it's just the quality. That's what it is Like. Be pay out of your ass for it. It's not cheap and I'm not calling them out saying but they're all expensive, it was worth it.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, they're all expensive, but it is yeah.

Speaker 3:

Absolutely.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

But that's funny, you got any episodes.

Speaker 2:

Well, I said, eric was like one of my favorites, jenny Harry and all the grooveiness, just sensei when he was here.

Speaker 3:

Oh, I was just gonna say Larry, yeah, hi, beche, hi beche. Yeah, he was good, I like.

Speaker 1:

Larry, yeah.

Speaker 3:

Larry's a really incredible human being. Yeah, definitely In a lot of ways.

Speaker 1:

I mean, you know, he's the first person I did the reels with.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's right.

Speaker 1:

yeah, that's right, because I did write because at first we were doing ones with the where it was just like the picture. I would just flash pictures like the audio and I was thinking myself, what if I use videos instead? And then I saw on the app I have I have access to all these stock video footages. So I was like, and I did it with his, and then I would.

Speaker 3:

You did it twice. You did two different ones. I did the one with the pictures.

Speaker 2:

There's still pictures in end of videos. Yeah, I liked both of them Because it was like it was right on. Yeah, it was really great, it was really good at the time. Yeah, you missed your calling, bro, I know, I know you definitely need to sit down with us, if I could, and tutor us To hire me to do this. We're hiring you right now. We do hire you, but if you're in the whip, don't make me come to your house. You fucking feed you, bro, yeah yeah.

Speaker 1:

No, we don't feed them. Give me a new oney and a pension, tom McRuffin.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, no shit, four weeks vacation, yeah, hey listen, this would be great to do for a living. I wouldn't mind doing this at all.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, dude, it would be great, man, if we could do this. And you know, yeah, right it's good to treat.

Speaker 3:

We're putting it out there.

Speaker 2:

Yes, put it out there in the universe, man. Yeah, put it out there in the universe, all right.

Speaker 1:

For a living, yeah.

Speaker 2:

You don't want to do it for a living.

Speaker 1:

And I want to do it for a living. Oh, that would be great.

Speaker 2:

Hell, yeah, see, then I think it would be cool, because then there'd be so many more people we could have on, you know, oh, absolutely, you know like. I have some of my friends that you know. We had them on and we'll have the funniest time, man, it'll just be. You know just the. They're just that kind of funny, you know, and they know things that we know yeah.

Speaker 3:

You know what I'm saying, or things that we may not. I mean well, I'm talking about you know, I see what you're saying though yeah. Like because I'm only saying that because everybody has a different experience with it Did something different in a life, or oh, yeah, exactly all about yeah, and you be like yeah, you know, and it's freaking hilarious.

Speaker 2:

I'm dying to meet your friend the geek, so we could do the seawars, oh my god. But then he's gonna be another. He would end up being a recurring, because he's what Star Wars, star Trek.

Speaker 1:

You know the car to? Yeah, he likes both More Star Wars.

Speaker 3:

I'm more Star Trek, but I still love Star.

Speaker 1:

Wars.

Speaker 3:

I mean I do, but I do lean more towards Star.

Speaker 1:

Trek yeah, and he lives more towards star right, like Star Trek right. Yeah, no, that's cool.

Speaker 3:

No, no, no, you finish bro no, I'm saying so, I didn't.

Speaker 2:

You know I I just enjoy being sit here and all of us bullshit in and talk about just so many different things. You know, and just you know. Like said again, here we are now and we're. This is almost a repeat of the the one.

Speaker 1:

That's the first Figure out. Yeah, you know, just sitting here talking and yeah and.

Speaker 2:

I said this is what I think people appreciated first. Yeah, everybody appreciate. I believe everybody appreciates the serious ones we did, but us just sitting here and just having the, you know.

Speaker 3:

Because, it's a square table right.

Speaker 2:

You know I'm on our square, tell you will right, yeah, talking Art paraphernalia on the wall. Yeah, you know this is great and, like I said, I hope everybody appreciates us the way I appreciate you guys and everybody else.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I'm saying I'm glad we did it. I'm glad, oh yeah, guys took me up on my you know and said hey.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, you thought I was full of shit with it too. You want?

Speaker 3:

to do a podcast.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and then I went into the store. Yeah, I said I went to the store, I went to the music store, I picked it out, the other one that was. You know, we fucked it up or it broke or whatever.

Speaker 3:

I ordered the other one. The one came through right. Yeah, and it just shorted out or just didn't work and it was like what?

Speaker 2:

then, yeah, kenny, you found out that me.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I find the music store and then we went in the name of the music store. Is that? Yeah? Yeah, it's altoes. Yeah, I'll tell him in the town. Yeah, yeah and they.

Speaker 2:

It's as long as you know you know Slander no, no, there's no slander there, man.

Speaker 1:

They'll be pretty good, like you could mention it the other reason a lot of podcasts won't mention all those names because I was free advertised.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, you know what?

Speaker 1:

But you know, I don't give.

Speaker 2:

I don't.

Speaker 3:

I don't give a shit. And you know what?

Speaker 1:

even if we did like, I think, because when you have like Advertisers and advertise like, you make people pay for your right people pay you to advertise. Yeah right advertised kind of like what the fuck you do that for free for them, but you know for.

Speaker 2:

I think that's why, I got you. I got you, I don't doubt it I don't, we don't get, we don't have any. Yeah, let us know. Yeah we'll work for food. Yeah, you know send us some stuff, but it'd be cool to do this, you know it's gonna be like yeah, but we're gonna get some weird one.

Speaker 1:

That's gonna be like yeah, this is Joe's purple dildo.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, maybe should have read that before you talked about this dildo. Yeah, yeah, that's great. Yeah, it was that it goes on and you hold it in your hand. Yeah, that feedback, tom.

Speaker 3:

No, yeah, yeah it can also be used as a necklace.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, that is funny as hell. Oh, my god bro.

Speaker 3:

It's multi purpose. Yeah, you know.

Speaker 2:

I guess we'd have to screen them, not that you say that now we know to screen them, because you're thinking about the fucking purple dildo.

Speaker 1:

Generally, anybody comes at you. They're gonna tell you what their products about right, yeah, that's comfortable doing the purple dildos.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, no well, you know, maybe yeah, how many shrooms was that.

Speaker 1:

Advertise for flesh light.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly there you go. Listen, the flesh life.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

I mean, like I said, you know, I Just I would love to do this, like you said, full-time. You know, I think I can handle fame, you know.

Speaker 3:

Well, I don't even know if it's that, but I kept with your same for me. I just enjoy the fact that we it's like a release, we could sit down.

Speaker 2:

Mm-hmm.

Speaker 3:

Talk about something we like. Serious, not serious.

Speaker 1:

Whatever it is, we do both. We need to do stuff.

Speaker 3:

We do see stuff we, we enjoy it and and then we put it out there for other people to listen and then have them tell us you know whatever.

Speaker 1:

I like to think people appreciate that we do a little bit of comedy, we do a little bit of serious stuff, right, because that's life you know, Not everything every day isn't funny. Yeah, isn't serious either.

Speaker 3:

Right, I don't want to be a serious old. Yeah, this is not the serious time, unless you know.

Speaker 1:

We'll have serious episodes right.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, we're not always, but we're still every episode even when the serious ones, we're still not to the point where we're. You know like right, I have a shot to.

Speaker 2:

so if this guy's gonna, yeah, right, yeah, yeah, yeah, the first kind of thing you know?

Speaker 3:

no, definitely definitely not like that we, we still kid around and goof around on that, because we lighten it up a little bit, you know so that's crazy, man.

Speaker 2:

That is crazy how it is that we've come, like I said, a year. Yeah, you know, a bunch of people are following us, bunch of people are liking us. You know, subscribe, you know that other good stuff. Yeah, it's if you said it feels good that we actually, that we're doing something right. You know, of course, it's just good. This is groovy.

Speaker 3:

What's good, we filed through on something and we, we stuck to it and we just kept Just getting better at it. And that's what no way and that's great because we keep learning come to your own stuff right, and you know we're not perfect that, but we definitely we're at a point now.

Speaker 2:

We we we kind of know, what we're doing.

Speaker 1:

Yeah Well, that's what I said to you guys before we start recording us. You know, in a year's time, if we have like five Listeners per episode, I'm happy with that.

Speaker 3:

I'll still do it.

Speaker 1:

fun, yeah, having fun with this right and you know, and if we get big, we get big, we don't get.

Speaker 3:

I would either way that we're to the big, to the point where it's not necessarily where, it was just more of a Known. Oh yeah, I heard of that one. Right, I think you know. Wherever level it is, I'm happy with yeah. I'm gonna be like you know it's got, you know I I get you. You're the dream up me. I gotta be a little bit.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I get it, but yeah, that's good too.

Speaker 3:

I mean, that's not a bad thing. Obviously, you're putting it out there, so hey whatever happens, happens. Yeah, I'm not gonna say no, we're right.

Speaker 2:

You know what I mean, I mean. And two, you know that was one of the things, one of what we wanted for even our listeners no politics and no religion, because we want this to be the brighter side of life.

Speaker 3:

Right, there's enough of that already Exactly. We don't need to do more time about it.

Speaker 2:

Right, so here's the laugh joke. That's what we asked for suggestions, you know, give us thoughts on shows that you'd like to hear, or just hear us rant about, you know whatever, and not even a rant because we laugh and joke about all of it. Anyways, and yeah, you know not everything. Well, yeah, I think I did a joke on every episode. Yeah, so sorry, yeah, but that's the idea, you know. Keep it light but informative, right in depth.

Speaker 3:

What do you think? There was a serious I think the most, the most I don't know Serious episode we did was with she was on tonight.

Speaker 2:

Oh, suzanne, the vegan one.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, that one was like depression.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, that was a good one to depression was good.

Speaker 1:

You're more serious, I was really good drama, yeah, so see.

Speaker 2:

Already said that you're good, good, good because we're fucking great. I'm sorry. I can get used to the fame because we do it all I. Know but and but those, because those were things, those episodes that we felt yeah.

Speaker 1:

Brass like a handler and it gives them the wrong coffee.

Speaker 2:

I'm gonna do it in Eddie Murphy voice to. Come into America. Yeah, one of those voices, man. But you know that's what it is. But you know that we all there's been Ordered to topics that we've had have touched us in some way, you know. I think that's what also makes it Right. You know that you can hear in our voice we laugh or whatever, but it was something serious.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, and I got a lot of good ones written down.

Speaker 2:

Mm-hmm. Yeah, I do. I have. My book is in the bag over there.

Speaker 3:

It's already I'm seriously two years worth. It's gotta be because there's so many how you know the way we record and how we do it. You know it eats up a lot of you know a good chunk, you know, and it's like, oh yeah, that's a good one. But I'm not just writing shit random just to write it down Like, oh, this would be, you know, like it's something that either I see or hear or I get an idea about and I go, oh, you know, it would be like that I think something triggers something, or I'll think of one and then it'll trigger something else and I'll go, oh, I'm like pad paper where is it?

Speaker 3:

I can write it down I don't forget, you know, but I think we got some more to come for sure yeah hell yeah, definitely no doubt.

Speaker 2:

And again, like I'm looking forward to it, everybody you know, let us know, give us an idea, something we want to talk about, something that you just want to hear about.

Speaker 3:

If there are any other podcasts out there that happen no one has heard of us. You're more than willing to. We'd like to have you on as a guest, or you're more than welcome to have any one of us, or all of us, as a guest on your podcast.

Speaker 1:

However, you like doing it vice versa. That would be great too if we can do that.

Speaker 2:

Jimmy Kimmel, I'm always funny, jimmy Fallon, I said podcasts. Oh yeah, yeah, podcasts. Maybe they have podcasts, I don't know. Jimmy, call us. You wish upon a star, that's it. That's it. Speak it into existence.

Speaker 3:

That's what she said. Yeah, that's what she said.

Speaker 2:

Because you know we have too much fun hey why not?

Speaker 3:

Even if it doesn't happen, it makes you feel good, justinette, you know, you thought about it.

Speaker 2:

You dreamt it, we dreamt it, I dreamt it.

Speaker 3:

You know, I was thinking that we should do a podcast at Skyline Pizza.

Speaker 2:

That's right. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, those guys.

Speaker 3:

We, should you go to that show all the time. We should pitch that to them see if we could do that one night.

Speaker 1:

That's next to where one of those spots is.

Speaker 3:

We could sit right in there. We could set everything and sit at a table and do the podcast all three of us just doing that.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'm telling you they need to get more vegan options at that place. I gotta tell them.

Speaker 3:

All right, but still.

Speaker 1:

It would still be a good podcast.

Speaker 3:

It's not that far either. For us, it would really mean not far for you to drive.

Speaker 1:

Oh, that's fucking super close to it.

Speaker 3:

Right, and then for us it would be close too.

Speaker 2:

Okay, everything's close for me, yeah, so hey bro if you're listening.

Speaker 3:

we'd be willing to do that. Yeah, that would be cool if you let us yeah absolutely yeah, lose behind the pizza. Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 2:

If you buy the pizza, I'll take a lactate and we're in there.

Speaker 3:

Right, I'll eat the pizza all fucking day long bro.

Speaker 2:

I haven't had a square in a minute.

Speaker 3:

She can have a salad while you there, bro.

Speaker 2:

Oh, no salad. No, no, no salad. Well, you know I'm lying. I had salad last night for dinner, ready Salad for lunch Spinach lettuce and tuna fish. You know what I don't see a lot of Nice.

Speaker 1:

That's good. Yeah, there's a lot of places that sell like there's a lot of vegan pizza places, right, I never see them do Sicilian pizza.

Speaker 3:

I have to. There you go. You mean Sicilian, vegan Sicilian.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

I've never seen a vegan Sicilian pizza. That's interesting. I didn't know that.

Speaker 1:

You know what's actually one of the best vegan pizza places. It's in Brooklyn Screamers, of course it's in Brooklyn, what the fuck are you talking about Screamers pizza? Really yeah. It's the fucking shit.

Speaker 3:

Really it's a vegan all vegan pizza spot. Oh, we just Now. You just gave me a shout out right now.

Speaker 1:

They actually just closed their original spot, which was really small. They opened a second one, which is bigger, in Greenpoint Nice.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah, in Greenpoint, there you go. Greenpoint is the first one, that's the easy one. Well, greenpoint is a good, easy ride. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1:

Is that their first location? I think their first location is Greenpoint. Their second one I forget.

Speaker 2:

Anyway, it's the point is, but it's still Brooklyn, yeah, it's Brooklyn. Screamers is the shit man Brookings in the house.

Speaker 1:

It's all vegan and they have like these crazy flavors like that. I had a fucking Rubin slice.

Speaker 2:

They're one of those places that has, yeah, crazy fucking weird sli Like oh, I'm going to try this.

Speaker 1:

This is fucking crazy, you know.

Speaker 2:

I do a silly and, by the way, I'm going to say a very controversial statement. Here we go.

Speaker 1:

Pineapple belongs on pizza. I'm going to kill you.

Speaker 2:

I'm going to kill you? What the hell are you smoking, man? Pineapple belongs on pizza no, yes, no, that would have hurt. No no.

Speaker 1:

That is that starts fights man, yeah Well not here, I'm not going to fight you.

Speaker 2:

You're going to get hurt, bro.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I thought I was going to say something really.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I'll wait for you to let you know. Yeah, vegan for life, and then start drinking, my wife likes it too.

Speaker 3:

I'm like it doesn't belong.

Speaker 2:

No, it doesn't belong, bro. Like even, how do you? Even I don't even understand what it tastes like.

Speaker 1:

I'll say this. I'll say this this is going to be a very diplomatic way of me saying this, but it's true. I don't like it but I think it belongs on pizza.

Speaker 2:

This guy, you see, this fucking guy. Yeah, I didn't inhale, motherfucker.

Speaker 1:

I don't like pineapple on pizza, but I think it belongs on pizza.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, just because you want to piss people off. That's all I think. If people like it, they should have it. Well, listen, that is your teaching to each their own.

Speaker 1:

I get it, but don't say you know what? I heard someone even say something even crazier.

Speaker 3:

Oh my.

Speaker 1:

God. They said they said, strawberries belong on pizza. What the?

Speaker 2:

hell bro, no, the fucking doesn't man my eyes twitching?

Speaker 3:

Yeah, for real, it's garlic.

Speaker 2:

That's what you put on top of fucking pizza. You know what I'm?

Speaker 1:

saying I put strawberries in my food. I prefer roasted, though Roasted garlic Roasted us.

Speaker 3:

You see, I like it, I like it, I like it Roasted garlic yeah.

Speaker 2:

I heard you like it. You know that, Baby.

Speaker 3:

I like it.

Speaker 2:

Roasted garlic. Yes, hi.

Speaker 1:

Yo Time is up.

Speaker 2:

Time is up Time is fucking up. Holy Jiminy Cricket.

Speaker 1:

See, this is what happens when we get into these. Yeah, we do the funnies. Yeah, that's right the time just it's gone, yeah.

Speaker 3:

That's why we hope you guys enjoyed as much as we did, because this was a really good relash and sit back, yeah, and this is it.
