Dr. Amit Kakar, owner of Avalon Pharmacy, shares his journey of prioritizing family over business and the importance of being present and connected with his wife and children. He shares his personal family tools to foster open communication and understanding. Dr. Kakar also highlights the significance of vulnerability as a parent, and how it creates a safe space for children to open up and seek guidance. He discusses the challenges men face and the importance of finding like-minded individuals who can provide support and understanding. Dr. Kakar also touches on the prevalence of mental health struggles and the role of mindset in overcoming them.
