I was born in Nigeria, Africa and came to the U.S. at a young age. During my formative years I spent hours reading and pondering. I was drawn to the field of psychology because I found it to be a fascinating science. I believed then and still believe now, the knowledge and application of psychological principles can assist me with coping with my personal woes.
I obtained my BA in Psychology from the University of Nebraska and received my MA in Educational Counseling from CSU – San Bernardino.
My conceptualization of Zen Psychology is to utilize the two concepts in harnessing that which is useful and meaningful to me. It is a means of going beyond the regular therapeutic methods.
My personal belief is that there must be inner truth before any other cognitive revelation can happen. Without self-honesty, the knowledge derived from the world, is diluted by our inner deception.
