Hey Friends, Welcome to the Women's Leadership Lounge! If you're a women who carries the weight of leadership at work, at home, in ministry or in your community.. you've found your place.
And if you’ve been with me for a while, you may remember this podcast as "Amiga Rise Up." That season was such an important part of my journey, and many of the conversations we shared are still very much connected to the work I’m doing today.
But as I’ve grown and gained greater clarity around the work I feel called to do, I knew it was time for the podcast to grow with me.
Amiga Rise Up is NOW the Women’s Leadership Lounge.
This new chapter reflects my decision to pivot more intentionally toward serving women leaders, the women who are leading teams, organizations, businesses, ministries, families, and communities, while often carrying more behind the scenes than anyone realizes.
You’ll still find some of the original Amiga Rise Up episodes here because leadership isn’t only about what happens in the workplace. It’s also about who we are becoming, how we navigate life, how we communicate, how we care for ourselves, and how we show up for the people we’ve been called to lead.
So while the name has changed, so much of the heart behind these conversations remains.

Hey Hey Amiga, Welcome to Amiga Rise Up! I’m Sophia Estrella, the host of this podcast and a Puerto Rican from Chicago who loves Jesus and coffee. I’m a wife, mother, entrepreneur, business and career coach. Just like you, I’ve been in a place where I’ve questioned God on what my calling is or I’ve felt stagnant knowing that there had to be more to my life. I’ve been in a place where I lost sight of who God has called me to be and stuck in doubt or fear to take a risk and take the next steps. Forgetting to walk in the boldness and authority he’s given me. Not anymore!! I know what needs to be done to rise up. My heart is to help women like you transition into the career or business that aligns with your calling so that you can walk in the authority and influence God intends for you. When you listen to this podcast, you’ll learn that you and what you do are part of a much bigger plan. You’ll learn that what God has called you to do in this season matters and that you have the ability to leave legacies where you are and change entire environments for his glory.
