And if you’ve been with me for a while, you may remember this podcast as "Amiga Rise Up." That season was such an important part of my journey, and many of the conversations we shared are still very much connected to the work I’m doing today.
But as I’ve grown and gained greater clarity around the work I feel called to do, I knew it was time for the podcast to grow with me.
Amiga Rise Up is NOW the Women’s Leadership Lounge.
This new chapter reflects my decision to pivot more intentionally toward serving women leaders, the women who are leading teams, organizations, businesses, ministries, families, and communities, while often carrying more behind the scenes than anyone realizes.
You’ll still find some of the original Amiga Rise Up episodes here because leadership isn’t only about what happens in the workplace. It’s also about who we are becoming, how we navigate life, how we communicate, how we care for ourselves, and how we show up for the people we’ve been called to lead.
So while the name has changed, so much of the heart behind these conversations remains.
I'm Sophia Estrella, a leadership coach, trainer, DISC consultant with more than 30 years of leadership experience. Hey Amiga! Welcome Back! We're starting an exciting series on being a Christian that transforms the marketplace by diving into the 7 areas God is calling His people to infiltrate and the significance of each of those areas. When I say God has called you for more, Believe it!!
In addition, we’ll address the lie that some of us think that working in the marketplace is less spiritual or less in status than working in full time ministry or a church. I know I struggled with this for years! But it took one word from God to change that!
And....Being that school just started, lets focus on the mountain of Education. It is one of the most powerful that affects generations. Satan has strategically taken this mountain because the training you receive as a child will guide you as you get older and affect generations so if we can continue to keep God out, we bring up a faithless generation. Whoa! That Hits Hard.
