John Reid
John has been a part of the Hawthorn District 73 community since 2006. Starting off as an English Language Arts and Social Studies teacher, he has also served as a Tech Coach and Instructional Coach. He is currently the Director of Instructional Technology.
What drives him professionally is to see how technology can be meaningfully incorporated into classrooms, offices, and other learning spaces to enhance everyone's experiences.
What drives him personally is his family: his wife, two kids, and dog... all of whom graciously tolerate his love of movies, 80s pop culture, and all things nerdy.
