24 - UPDATES NEEDED in How the Church Defines “Pastor.”
Feb 06, 2023
Seacoast Church

At the top of the episode, four guests, all on staff at Seacoast and between the ages of 19 and 26, share thoughts on what they look for in a pastor.  Also discussed are the needed updates churches may want to consider, according to these four, in the ways ministry is carried out, how the church defines "pastor," and the roles expected of them to carry out.  And if pastors are "human too," what makes them pastors?

For the second half of the episode, three Seacoast pastors, Jen Cameron, Roy Jacques and Joey Svendsen continue the conversation and share various stories on their shortcomings as pastors that led to mistakes, as well as other times in which shortcomings were mitigated by the Holy Spirit and thus fruitful ministry was carried out.
