115 - After an Abortion: Finding Grace, Restoration and Community

Seacoast Church

As Peyton Pickens was preparing for the Chosen Women’s Conference in 2023, she did not expect the freedom she would encounter or the rescue and redemption she was about to experience. Ten years prior, Peyton had an abortion and had struggled with that decision ever since. But, during the conference, The Holy Spirit convinced her to be prayed over by another woman, who then confessed to Peyton her own abortion earlier in life.

With host, Joey Svendsen, Peyton walks us through how her life unfolded, leading to an abortion, her life-changing transformation, and what she’s learned in the one year since Chosen.

At the top of the episode, Tomelex Copeland, Jack Hoey III, Abbie Love, and Joey Svendsen talk about Kareem Abdul Jabaar's work-life balance and whether the sacrifices to pursue greatness are worth making. They wrap things up by analyzing who's more likable—Lebron James or Michael Jordan.
