[Happy Summer and hope you enjoy our 9-part summer series, Seacoast Podcast's "In the Summer."  For the next 9 weeks, we'll do deeper dives on very particular subject area that in many cases are very unique subject area for this podcast.  As the summer brings a unique season of hopefully relaxation and peace to your life, we're delivering to you some unique content]

After Joey almost walked his dog up to a giant alligator, he wonders what would have happened if a kind lady hadn’t warned him of the danger. So, on this week’s episode, Joey asks Joseph and Cody, avid studiers, collectors, and admirers of reptiles, about the dog walk that could have gone awry. The two also answer Joey's numerous questions about reptiles.

Also on this episode, the three explore the “people type” of those who can’t get enough reptile interaction and in many cases, not enough reptiles. Joseph and Cody are two of these people. They educate listeners on venomous snakes, snake behavior, snakes local to South Carolina and Florida, and argue that gators are actually snuggly teddy bears if you treat them right.

Topics addressed today:  snakes, gators, snake-bites, "reptile-addiction," reptiles in the suburbs.

Next week's episode 8:  video games, video game history, video game beauty, video game as an adult hobby, and video game potential perils.
