189 - An Encounter With Heaven with Pastor David Scarlett

At a young age, Pastor David Scarlett of His Glory Ministries had achieved success, financial stability, and had a promising future—yet when his marriage began to fall apart, his accomplishments offered little comfort. This crisis pushed him to seek a deeper, more authentic faith in Jesus.

Later in life, Pastor David suffered a severe case of botulism after eating a chili dog—an event he says led to his death and a vivid encounter with heaven. Though only five minutes had passed in the hospital room, he describes what felt like days in heaven, and says he saw Jesus standing at the foot of his bed before returning to his body. In this episode, Pastor David shares how this near-death experience shaped his ministry, the mission that emerged from it, and his perspective on the ongoing struggle between good and evil in America.
