Public lands are under increasing threat across Wyoming and the West, and once they’re gone, they’re gone. In this episode, I sit down with Zach Lentsch, Co-founder of the new political action committee Protect Wyoming, to talk about the growing push by elected officials to sell or transfer public lands. Zach shares some stories of his childhood. How we got into climbing and what it is was like growing up as the Game Wardens son. We then dive into why protecting public lands matters to hunters, anglers, climbers, hikers, and anyone who values access to the outdoors. From growing up hunting and fishing on public lands to building a life exploring places like the South Fork Valley, I explain why staying silent is no longer an option. This conversation cuts through partisan politics to focus on one shared truth: public lands belong to all of us, and protecting them requires action.
