The Texas High School Football Podcast Episode 134 Week 15 of the Texas High School football season and it the Semifinals of Playoffs! We are down to four teams in each division fighting for their chance to head to the State Championship in AT&T Stadium.

This week Taylor has three guests that are all still fighting for a chance to head to the State Championship!  Kicking off Episode 134 is Mount Enterprise running back and Texas Tech commit Kaegan Ash, who is in the middle of one of the most remarkable seasons Texas high school football has ever seen. He just broke the single season rushing yards records that from 1953! A 72-year-old record! Kaegan talks about the record and his strong belief that the record is the teams as he did not do it alone. He also talks about the teams undefeated run, the mindset behind his team’s success, and what it felt like to break a state record that stood for more than seven decades. He shares the story behind his work ethic, the teammates who helped shape this historic year, and the lessons he’s learned from playing in a small but powerful program. Taylor and Kaegan dive into last week’s thrilling playoff win, the emotions of his senior season, and the memories he’ll carry long after high school. Kaegan also talks about his commitment to Texas Tech and what excites him most about the next chapter. 

Then, Duncanville quarterback J’Coryon Rivers joins the show for a deep dive into his senior season, his sudden rise into the starting role, and the Panthers’ push toward another state title run.
