Your thoughts are incredibly powerful—they're actively creating your reality right now, whether you're consciously directing them or not. But how exactly does this creation process work when life seems determined to throw obstacles in your path?

Rebecca shares a compelling real-life story about her family's planned vacation to Orlando that almost didn't happen. As the trip approached, several hurdles emerged. One after another. Family members began questioning whether these were "signs" they shouldn't go.

Instead of feeding these doubts, Rebecca maintained steady positive expectations, insisting these weren't roadblocks but merely unexpected  circumstances that would resolve themselves. She didn't know how everything would work out—she simply knew it would.

The results were remarkable. This experience highlights a profound truth: the only way to create what you want is through consistent expectation paired with genuine feeling. When apparent obstacles arise, they are invitations to redirect your focus toward solutions rather than problems. The process isn't about forcing outcomes but allowing them to unfold while maintaining steady positive expectation.

Rebecca emphasizes that this practice isn't just beneficial for personal circumstances—it's vital for addressing larger issues in our communities and world. By consistently expecting that there is "honey" in everything, we align ourselves with solutions that may have seemed impossible through conventional thinking.

Introduction: Creating Your Reality

Rebecca

Hi everyone, this is Rebecca. Today I want to do a follow-up from the episode titled "Your Mind is Creating Your World Right Now, Whether You're Paying Attention or Not", because I have a personal recent experience to share with you that I'm hoping will drive this whole point home, because I've learned over many, many, many years of curiosity about how life works. If we're creating, exactly, how are we creating? Because for a lot of my life, it didn't seem like we were actually creating the way we wanted to. You want something to turn out one way and it turns out a different way, and you wonder well then, how did I do that? How am I creating? And what I've learned is that the only way to create what you want is by consistently expecting it, with feeling, putting those two together and being consistent about it. And this is really vital if you want to have a smooth, happy life. And it's also vital for the world, if you really want to be helpful to the way the world is and the way that it's going. Helpful to the way the world is and the way that it's going. This is really the only way that you can actually help with power.

Vacation Plans Meet Unexpected Obstacles

Rebecca

So, my recent experience is that my family and I decided last year that we wanted to book a vacation for some fun in Orlando, Florida, USA. We picked April of this year because the kids would be off school for spring break. The temperature is usually pretty nice that time of year in Florida. So I booked the resort and we went on with our year. All was well until a few months before the trip. I started hearing doubts, big doubts, from my family.

Rebecca

One family member was laid off suddenly and is the main income source for that family. Another wasn't planning on buying a house but found a great deal and he took the plunge and bought the house. So, unexpected expenses. It takes, of course, a lot of money to get into a house and he's getting used to being prepared for unexpected things. One had some details change at work and was really feeling like she wasn't going to be able to get off that week. As far as school goes, that spring break, four out of the five days that week were taken back for snow makeup days. So now the kids would miss four days of school, which isn't a big deal, but it was just another little detail. So et cetera, et cetera.

Rebecca

There were many, many things that were coming up. The kind of things that people don't typically see as small things. And, as the trip got closer, I was checking into airline tickets, which were way more than I wanted to pay. Van rental, we wanted to rent a van. I was finding they were hard to come by and they were very expensive. I was trying to keep costs down for everyone because of all the situations going on. And then my daughter said to me one day you know, my in-laws were just in Orlando last week and it was really hot! I said, "It's not going to be bad when we get there. It won't to be that way.

Rebecca

So, with these circumstances that were coming up, the knee-jerk tendency was to give these r"ealities attention and become concerned. Seeing the unwanted and then thinking things like this isn't looking good. I would hear, or you know, there are just too many roadblocks coming up. You know, how are we going to pull this off now? And the big one that some of them were saying is maybe these are signs that we shouldn't go, maybe life is trying to tell us not to go. And so I heard and I understood their concerns, but I kept very steady with this, feels fine. I don't feel any redirection here. We want the trip. Life will work it out. It'll work out the howls. So I said these are not signs telling us not to go. They're signs of your worry and your attention to what you think has gone wrong or isn't working out. But I guarantee you this will work out and we'll have a wonderful, doable, affordable, work-outable, smooth vacation.

Choosing Positive Expectation Over Worry

Rebecca

Years ago I would have, like many people, very easily gone into the unwanted thinking, like the what-ifs. What if this doesn't work out? What if we can't get a van? What if we have to rent two vehicles? What if the ticket prices keep going up as it gets closer to the holiday weekend because it was an Easter holiday weekend that we would be coming back on. What if? What if? What if? I've learned, and it has taken me years, because you can get this intellectually but to really understand it at an applicable level is something that I had to do by trial and error, and that's why I say I know for sure now that if you can just consistently redirect yourself to how things can work out and that they are working out. Just because you can't see how they're working out or where they're headed doesn't mean there isn't a whole lot of honey in there. Y ou will see the honey, if you can just steer yourself away from the concerns and recognize that concerns are just unexpected things. It doesn't have to be something in your way.

Rebecca

Now, if I'd had a feeling of, yeah, all of a sudden the trip doesn't feel right, or it's just something in me is saying, I think we should just not go, then we wouldn't have gone. The resort was paid for. If we lost it, we lost it. But I did not feel that at all. Those are really misinterpretations. When we start to doubt and when we think things have gone wrong or are going wrong, we're misinterpreting and that's why it doesn't feel good. Your sense of feeling will tell you whether you're on the right track or not, going in the direction of the honey or not.

Rebecca

So here's how it all turned out. The one that got laid off got called back to work a week prior to vacation and was still able to keep his vacation week. The one that didn't think she was going to be able to get off work was able to get it approved. The kids, we got their schoolwork to take with us. They only missed four days.

Rebecca

The one who bought the house worked out the expenses. And even so much so, that a week before we were going to leave I called him for a different reason and he picked up the phone saying, "y hot water tank just went and I've got a mess here and I've got to go buy a new hot water tank. I just didn't need this right now. And I said to him but hold on, this happened while you were home. You literally were in your house when this happened, on a weekend that you're off from work. You have all weekend to fix it. The hot water tank that he had to buy the new one wasn't as expensive as he thought it was going to be. It was more affordable than what he thought. And I said you know, you have a one-story house with new flooring and new carpeting. Had this happened while we were in Florida or even while you were at work one day, you would have had more damage. But it didn't. You're right there, you can fix it. You've got the time, got a buddy there to help you. This is all working out for you. Now you can go on vacation, just be very secure in the fact that your hot water tank's good."

Rebecca

Even with the airline tickets, I got a great deal. And we were coming down to the wire, but I thought no, this will work out, I don't need to pay more than I feel comfortable paying. And it worked out perfectly.

Rebecca

For the rental van, it seemed like they were disappearing. I couldn't find any. BUT, I found a beautiful van in the price range that I wanted to pay. It was perfect. While we were down there, I got $600 in unexpected money, not at once, three different $200s. LOL I got $200 three different times. So that was just fun and extra. The weather was perfect. It wasn't humid, it was sunshiny all week, but it wasn't hot. It was just ideal.

Rebecca

When we got down there, the unit was a townhouse in the resort. It was very nice. We went in, my daughter and kids went to check out the second floor and she yelled down, " mom, we have a problem. There are two single beds in one of the bedrooms and we need a double at least. So I called the resort and I said all right, so we have a little concern here. And I said this isn't going to work for us, please let me know what else you might have for us. And they said, well, we don't know if we do, but hold on, we'll check. So they came back and called me back and they said we do, actually we found one for you. It was even nicer than the one we had and it was right. When you came out of the screened-in porch on it came right to the sidewalk that walked down by this beautiful lake and also to the pools and to where the main amenities were. So it was much better.

Rebecca

Even little things, like we were waiting in line for the big Star Wars ride and it was just a forever line and you go through these caves or tunnels or whatever they are, and my oldest grandson was over it at one point. He said. "Mimi, I don't know. I don't know if I want to do this now. This is just taking forever. And I said, all right, well, when we get to the next exit door, I said I'll go out with you and everybody else can continue on. And when we got to the next exit door, the line started moving and we were toward the end all of a sudden and we got on the ride, had an exhilarating ride!

Rebecca

That same grandson also got his dream "Star Wars build your own droid with a backpack kind of thing that he didn't think he was going to get. He was so thrilled to get it. My younger grandson got to go to SeaWorld and see the orca show and the whole thing, because he's all into all of that stuff. So that was really fun.

Rebecca

And bonus! The boys were in the arcade at the resort playing one of those grabby machines, uh, claw machines, that's it. And they won a bumblebee plush for me! It's a little plushie bumblebee and, you know, I'm all about the "honey" and the bees. So it was just ideal. So

Rebecca

There was a whole lot more that I could go on and go on about that That just kept working out, working out, and everything was ... i t It went so well. So, So do you see what I mean by only allowing yourself to see where the solutions could be, even if you don't know? We had no idea how a lot of this was going to work out. There was nothing in the air that said my son-in-law would be get called back to work, but then all of a sudden he did. A really bizarre thing happened which was interesting. A bunch of dots connected and he got called back to work and, like I said, was able to keep that vacation week. He was so excited when he got the call that back he forgot to ask about the vacation. I said, said"ust just call him back, tell him you've had a plan since last year. And they were more than happy to let him go ahead and do that. So he still got to keep his vacation.

Rebecca

hat, in general, this good stuff is not necessarily going to throw itself in front of you until you get in the habit of expecting it and then you just sort of sync up with it. It's there, but if you're not in sync with it, you'll never see it. It's there, but if you're not in sync with it you'll never see it. It'll never come your way. You know, we all have a weak area here or there, maybe relationship, money, work, kind of stuff. It's typical for people to have one or two areas of life where this is a little easier or a little more difficult. But it's all about consistency. Because, like I said, I don't know this to be true because I was born fortunate, or I was born in an understanding of this or even raised in an understanding of this, far from that.

The Power of Steady Positive Expectation

Rebecca

So this, for me, has been years in the making. Of knowing and realizing for sure. And I don't hit the mark every single time, and that's a good thing. That's how we fine tune. But I do know for sure that, no matter what, I'm on the right track, no matter what, no judgment, no second guessing, not even weighing in other people's opinions or what they might think, which I used to do a lot. So if your whole life has been or is tough, or it's just tough lately, do your best to look away from the struggle and look right at a direction/ possibility of where a solution may come from, or just know there is one. How do you want this to work out? "Wouldn't it be nice if this would happen? Wouldn't it be nice if this just turns out to be a great? I don't know how it's going to turn out. I don't know how these details are going to work themselves out. I just know they do and they will. They are it's already done, because that vacation could have very easily gone into the crapper right, but it didn't. That possibility was there, but I'm learning. I've learned and I'm still learning not to go there.

Rebecca

So the process is to casually imagine what you want. Feel how you know it is. It's already vibrationally there. How is it? How does it feel? What does it look like? What does it smell like? You don't have to be specific. Just daydream about your preferences and be neutral. Let it show up in surprising ways.

Rebecca

So this isn't hard, it's not work. Making it your work will not work. I've tried that a lot too, for sure. Just holding that steady assurance that all is well. Everything is always working out for me. Everything is always working out for me, that's it. And so, like I said, this is very helpful for your personal life, but also for your country, the world, your people, whatever it might be. Stay general about that, but when you're seeing things happening in this world, and this is really vital right now, the more of us that are doing this, the better this is going to be for everybody. Don't get caught up in the 'what you don't likes', the things that you think are going wrong or are bad or happening in a way different than what you thought was best. Just keep knowing that everything is working out for all of us, and better so, the more we understand and expect that there's always a nice version of things. And life often works in ways that we wouldn't figure. So we have to be willing to say, "here are other versions that I can't, I don't have a glimpse of or I've never even thought of that are possible. I don't have to know what they are, but I can pay attention and watch them unfold. So I truly hope that this has helped you to believe in your happiness and your power to create what you want when you want, how you want.

The Disney Experience and Final Thoughts

Rebecca

So before I sign off, I want to share an incredible experience that happened at the end of the night at Hollywood Studios. Every Disney park has an end-of-night celebration, so with this one, you show up to this outdoor stadium. It's all open . . T T Tight Tnight av h have assive m a m m screen and body of water in front of you. It's, I believe, called the Fantasmic Show, and there had to have been thousands of people. I mean, there were just so, so, so many people. And somehow some people initiated a WAVE. You know, where people raise their arms up and a wave proceeds across the crowd and then back again. This was a very large group of peopl e from all over the planet, We were all just having 'human- being' fun! They ight It went ight so long that as the night sky darkened, people added their cell phone lights to the wave, so it was like everybody just having fun together, people that probably disagreed with each other about a million things, it didn't matter, we were just people having fun and enjoying the evening. How amazing that was and just, of course, perfect.

Rebecca

But then, as the show was reaching its peak, it just stopped and they came over the speaker and said we are so sorry, but due to an uncontrollable issue, we have to shut this down. Issue this we have to shut this down. And this was just as the show was building to its peak and you knew it was going to get bigger and bigger and bigger. And then fireworks and everything. That's when that happened and nobody booed. Everybody just got up and just there were a sea of people just left that area. Happily, nobody was complaining, that I could hear. Everybody just was okay, it was okay, stuff happens. And everybody exited.

Rebecca

So when we are in a, when we're in a place of expecting things to go well, you just sync up with all kinds of ways that that proves itself to you. So that's all I have to say about that. For now, let me know how it's going for you. I mentioned in the last episode that you know, try this for three days, just see what happens. So let me know, are you doing this or are you because actually you're doing it anyway?

Rebecca

We're always creating. We're always creating right now, whether we realize it or not, whether we're paying attention to how we're creating or not. So when you're more attentive to it, but you're not trying and you just find a way to consistently or as much as you can, look for what's working, look for what's going well and expecting more, more, more, more, more, even if it doesn't look good right now. So are you? How's it working out for you? Let me know, send me an email. You can even text through the podcast and keep me updated If any of you want to share your experience so that you can help others to just drive this home a little more, because we just love you, know the proof when we see it and that's why I share my experiences. So I wish you all the best until next time at mysticaltruthscom.
