Her journey through cancer inspired her to learn more about these alternative approaches, and now that she has studied many of them she has integrated them into her own practice of medicine. Her pain points as both a patient and doctor led her to found Rheum to Grow, a private medical practice in Houston, TX. She blends conventional rheumatology with integrative medicine to help children with autoimmune conditions achieve faster disease control, less disease flares, less reliance on pharmaceuticals, and realistic coping strategies to build resilience in the face of life-long illnesses.
Dr. Singla lives in Houston with her husband and three very active school-aged children. She not only loves taking care of her patients, but also encourages other female physicians to carry out their true passions and avoid burnout in medicine.
