She has trained both in Paris, France as well as Columbia University, in New York City. At age 40, in the midst of an existential crisis, she was diagnosed with stage IV metastatic breast cancer. A timely meeting with a non-traditionally trained practitioner taught her a different approach to disease. She experienced the power of meditation, visualization, energy healing and love. Her journey through cancer inspired her to learn more about these alternative approaches, and now that she has studied many of them she has integrated them into her own practice of medicine. Dr. Amigues is the author of multiple book chapters and scientific articles in rheumatology. She is the founder and CEO of UnabridgedMD.

Dr. Chrissy Davis-Allen is a board-certified naturopathic physician with over 20 years of experience in integrative and holistic care. She earned her doctorate from Bastyr University, where she also trained in doula support, craniosacral therapy, and massage. Chrissy’s passion for natural medicine began during her biology studies at St. Lawrence University, including time spent learning herbal therapies in Costa Rica. She practiced for 12 years in Connecticut, collaborating with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to treat a wide range of conditions—from autoimmune and women’s health to anxiety, digestive issues, and chronic fatigue.
Dr. Davis-Allen is committed to empowering patients through individualized, whole-person care. Outside of her practice, she enjoys outdoor adventures with her husband and three children.
