There is something really fun and exciting about getting organized, sprucing up your school area, and thinking about all of the fun new things you'll explore together in the coming year.
When it comes to new art supplies, I try to balance my (and my kids') excitement for getting new things with a thoughtful approach where we consider what we'll really need and use.
I mostly stick to the basics and mix in a few new exotic things to add a little intrigue. We've tried lots of different things, and I have some fun tips to think about as you head out to gather your supplies for the year!
In today's video I'm sharing some of my favorites, and how you can take a simple approach to adding life and excitement to your homeschool art area.
Remember, your art area doesn't have to be Pinterest-worthy. It just needs to be a space that encourages and nurtures your child's creativity. So let's refresh our homeschool art areas and create wonderful memories with our kids this coming school year.
