Hey everyone and welcome back to my podcast. If you're new here, my name is Barb and you're listening to Spirits, Witches, and Demons. Well, this is going to be a very short episode. I'm very sorry, but I'm late getting to recording this week. It is 6 30 p.m. on Saturday night, and I need to be in Sydney, which is a half an hour drive from my home, from my studio, in one hour. And I'm still not ready. So let me jump on. We're going to go to Reddit for a quick little story. I figured we'd do a ghost story since I'm heading to Sydney tonight for a ghost hunt. If you're interested, it's all listed in the show notes. So without further ado, let's jump right in. I love Reddit Ghost Stories, they're always so fun. Okay. So this one is in the Ghost Story subreddit, and it's by GapTop7546. And it was posted seven hours ago. Um, so I got pushed by something. Love that title. That's what grabbed me. So I was in my garage doing things I shouldn't have been doing, like smoking. Same in past tense, I say, because I'm almost uh two and a half. No. Yeah, almost two and a half years uh smoke free. Yay! Okay. Anyway, and that's what this story says. Anyway, I'm very high. Oh, they're smoking heavy weed. Gotcha. Jealous, not something I do. Have I? Yeah, of course I have. Anyway, that's not today's story. Uh anyway. Very high, but not off anything able to alter perception like LSD or anything. And a raised bed lifts up and slams down behind me. So I run out of my closed garage with nothing but me in there, not even a breeze, or so I thought. I go back to my roommate, tell him what happened, and he convinces me to go and face it. So I go back and put my camera hold on. I think they're high when they're writing this. So I go back, put my camera, I'm asking, I think they forgot a few words there. I'm asking to show me something at this point. I feel a pressure on my whole left side, and I feel like I'm being like I'm rocking very high at this point, so I don't realize what's actually going on. So in the video, I say stop I say stop rocking. I feel the weight pushing my whole left side, switch to my right and then back to my left. Suddenly I snap two and say, okay, I'm leaving. I'm leaving, and um I'm oh wow, hold on guys. I think they were high when I wrote this. It's kind of funny. Creepy story, by the way. Creepy story, but I love the writing style, the high writing style. Maybe I can get in character and read it as if I was high. Let's see. My left suddenly I snap to and say, okay, I'm leaving, I'm leaving, and I take take my camera. I go show the video to my friend, very spiritual, and I watch the video thinking it won't be anything crazy till you see my me slide across the floor, no change in posture, left, no, no change in posture, right, left, right again. Why am I like putting on an accent? You can tell I don't get high. Anyway, uh back to normal. And hearing my shoes drag uninterrupted un no. Drag uninterpreted. I think that was supposed to be uninterrupted, but uninterpreted. While moving across the concrete floor, I don't know what to make of it. Should I share the video? Yes. Unequivocally, yes, absolutely share the fucking video. We'd love to see it. Anyway, that was kind of funny. I'm gonna give that an uptick just for um. I think the next person that commented was hi too. Sorry, that just really threw me. That threw me. Um yeah, the next comment was quite long. I'm not gonna get into it, but I am gonna post this link for you guys. Oh, that is a fun link, so you guys can go read it and read all the comments and shit too. So I think that's it, guys. I know this was super, super, super short, but I am pressed for time. I was making merch today. I've been working overtime. I know you don't really care. Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. But I still want to show up for you guys, okay? Because I love you, even if you don't talk to me. I'm I'm gonna harp on it every fucking week until somebody emails me and says, hey, what's up? We listen. I see you guys listening. I see which cities are tuning in week after week after week after week. I don't get it, but I see it. And you know what? I I appreciate it, I really do. So that's why I'm showing up for you, even if it's only like five to six, seven minutes of your day. I hope it made it a good one. Go check out this Reddit story. The comment below it looked a little interesting, so maybe give that a read too. And show some love to the stories on Reddit. I I know I certainly get a kick out of it. I am highly entertained.
