We recently caught up with Grafted Life founder Debbie Swindoll and
ESDA founding director Monica Romig Green.
Monica and Debbie talk about the friendship they found in graduate school
at the Institute for Spiritual Formation at Talbot Seminary, one that moved
from southern California to Texas and Toronto, as they co-created a three-
year spiritual formation journey for the local church.
In the last decade, spiritual formation and spiritual direction have grown
significantly in the Protestant church. From its inception, ESDA has
provided community for spiritual directors, while the Life with God series
was conceived with a vision to create a formation experience in a local
church context.
