“The reason this podcast is now called Awake comes straight from Scripture—‘Awake, O sleeper, and rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.’ This is a call to wake up spiritually, to move past comfort, past tradition, and into a faith that transforms lives. If you’re tired of surface-level Christianity, you’re in the right place.
Faith was never meant to be lived asleep. This is a wake-up call—to truth, to love, to real discipleship. If you’re ready to open your eyes and walk it out, welcome to Awake.”

Isaiah 6:1–10
Isaiah had a vision of the holiness of God, and his immediate response wasn’t pride—it was conviction.
He saw God clearly, and when he saw God clearly, he began to see himself clearly.
Isaiah cried out:
“Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips.”
Isaiah didn’t point at somebody else.
He didn’t blame the people around him.
He didn’t say, “Lord, fix them.”
He said, “Woe is me.”
And then comes the beautiful part.
God didn’t leave Isaiah in his brokenness. A seraphim took a live coal from the altar and touched Isaiah’s lips.
His iniquity was taken away.
His sin was purged.
And then Isaiah heard the voice of the Lord:
“Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?”
Isaiah responded:
“Here am I; send me.”
Notice something about that passage.
Before Isaiah was ready to go, he had to be willing to let God start with him.
I want to share this beautiful moment with you all.
