If you don't have a mission statement for your business, 2026 has the potential to scatter you in a million different directions. The astrology of the year is fast, it's bold, and it's innovative. 

And without absolute clarity on what you're here to do, who you're here to serve, and why, you may find you feel pulled apart by all of it. But when you know your mission, when you can say it clearly in one sentence, everything else becomes easier to navigate. the decisions get faster, the focus gets sharper, and you actually move forward instead of spinning in circles. 

So, today I'm going to walk you through the major astrological shifts of 2026, and I'm going to show you why mission clarity is the thing that will make or break your year. Welcome. I'm Sophia Pallas. Let's dive in.

Okay, the first major shifts we are going to talk about actually happened in January. I'm recording this in February. And the first major shift happened at the end of January, which was when Neptune re-entered Aries, where it's going to stay until 2038. So this is a significant shift for Neptune and we're going to see this play out over the long term. But on the 14th of February Australian time, Saturn will also enter Aries and it's going to be there for a few years. Now these are two very different planets, but they're both moving into the same sign that is Aries, which is the first sign of the zodiac, the way that we use it most of the time. And it is considered to be an archetype of the warrior, the pioneer, the initiator. 

Now, Neptune in Aries is about potentially about spiritual activism, visionary leadership, dissolving of old structures so we can forge a new path. It is asking us though, what is the vision? Where are we going? What are we building toward? And Saturn in Aries is is also asking us what we're building toward. is really thinking about the structure that we are creating to support the vision. So Saturn in Aries is not in its favorite position. It's in a bit of a hard place because Saturn is likes to take its time. It's a slowm moving planet and Aries is a fast fire energy. So you can see that there is this bit of a a contrast there between the way that Saturn wants to operate and the energy that it's being put into the fast fire energy that it's being placed in now. But this is an energy that can do hard things. This is a courageous energy. This is why I believe that 2026 is the year of the mission statement because we are really thinking like warriors. We are structuring things and we are preparing like a warrior rather than just coasting along as we might have done with Saturn in Pisces. We are now forced, we are thrown into the fire into the fry pan so that we can, you know, build something of worth, build something that's going to last. This is a an energy of self leadership as well. And here's why this matters to your business. Because when Neptune and Saturn both land in Aries within a few weeks of each other and then they come together in mid-February, the old ways of operating, the old structures, the systems and processes that have felt heavy and outdated or the systems and processes that got that have gotten us to this point, they're dissolving. But you can't just dissolve everything and hope something new emerges. You have to build intentionally. You have to know what you're building toward and what you want to build toward. What is your mission? That is why we need to put this in place now. 

So, February is really is your window to ask yourself, what is creating unnecessary drag in my business right now? What systems, what partnerships, maybe even offers are taking up more energy than they're worth? what needs to go so I can move forward with less weight, less burden and be free to kind of innovate and initiate when I need to. But more importantly, what am I trying to build here? What is my vision, my mission for this business? Because Saturn in Aries is going to ask you to be disciplined. It is the planet of discipline. It's going to need you to take some courageous action to do the hard thing and to let go of the things that are not working even if it's comfortable or familiar. In fact, Saturn in Aries is so far out of its comfort zone, it is going to push us all out of our comfort zones. We are going to have to to do things in ways that may not feel so natural or comfortable to us. And Neptune in Aries is going to ask us to trust the vision even when we can't see the whole path. You know, while the structures are dissolving, the new path hasn't yet emerged. But we're going to be asked to trust that. We're going to be asked to lean into the vision that we hold into that sense of initiation and leadership that we have within us. Both of these energies require you to know where you are going because your mission will become your anchor through this kind of uncertain dissolution stage that we're all going through right now. Your mission will become your anchor. Okay. So past February where we have a lot of intense astrology, we have quite a lot of things happening. We also have eclipse season starting which I'm not going to go into in this video, but that is very important and we will talk about the nodes shortly which which is the point at which eclipses happen. But it is important to kind of cover off on these big events that we're going to see this year because these are kind of like the like the bookmarks throughout the year, right? when these when these shifts happen. So, when we get to April, this is where things start to get really interesting and potentially a little bit more scattered if you're not careful. This is the time where you are probably most likely to be pulled off track without your your vision and your mission in mind. 

In late April, Uranus is going to reenter Gemini. Now, I have a whole other video on Uranus in Gemini from 2025, which I will link to in the description box. Uranus is going to be there for a while. It's going to be there until 2032. So, this is some an energy we're going to have to get used to. But Uranus is the planet of disruption. It is the planet of awakening. It is the planet of sudden changes. And Gemini is the sign of communication, of ideas, of information, of technology, and potentially multiple directions. Because, you know, Gemini is very curious energy. It's interested in a lot of different things. It's connecting the dots. So when Uranus lands in Gemini or relands in Gemini because it has been in Gemini in 2025, it's it's dipped back into Taurus and now it's coming into Gemini for good or for the next 7 years. What we are looking at is a massive shakeup in how we communicate, how we use technology and especially AI and large language models, which is things like chat, GBT, Claude, and Gemini, which is interesting, isn't it, that it was named Gemini. That's Google's version. So, this is going to be even though we feel like we're already in this time of massive AI disruption and change to the way that we work especially and to our day-to-day lives. 

Later in the year, Uranus is going to also connect with Pluto in Aquarius, which is an even stronger signal of communication and tech revolution. We are talking about advances in AI and tech that we honestly can't even fathom right now when I'm recording this in February of 2026. The world and the way that artificial intelligence and particularly large language models work by the end of this year is going to look drastically different and it's going to be integrated at a much deeper level in our businesses and our day-to-day lives. For small businesses though, this could be really good news because it means you can do more with less. You can do a lot more with less. You can move faster. You can execute your ideas more efficiently. But there is a catch. Uranus in Gemini is also going to create this energy of scatteredness. There's a million possibilities when you can do so many things, right? A million directions you could go in, a million shiny objects to chase. And if you don't have clarity on your mission, you are going to get pulled in all of those shiny object directions. And that is not what we want for you because a strong business has a strong core focus. So we want you to be able to bring yourself back to what is my mission and how am I working towards that? What best serves my mission? Because you could start thinking I can do this and do this and do that. I can launch five different offers now. I can be on every platform because I can easily repurpose this. I can use AI to do 50 things at once. Please don't. Because just because you can do something does not mean you should. And it is not necessarily a good business decision. So when you anchor back into your mission statement, then you know what you're here to do. You're clear on your purpose. It's easier to say no to all of those distractions. You can then look at those opportunities and you can ask, "Does it align with my mission? Does this move me closer to what I'm actually trying to build or is this just a shiny object? So, while Uranus in Gemini is going to bring some incredible innovation and possibility, it's also going to test your focus. And the only way to stay focused is to know your mission. 

So, around the time the same time in mid-April, we've also got or just a bit earlier than that actually, we've got this really heavy combination of planets in Aries. Now, this collection of planets, the number of planets that are in Aries around the time of the Aries new moon is something that we haven't seen in a very long time. As we've just talked about earlier, Aries energy is a very innovative, bold, fresh start kind of energy. It is warrior energy. It is pioneering energy. It is courageous energy. So, what that means for you is around that April time, depending on where where this is all falling in your chart, you might notice that if you've been waiting for the perfect moment and been secondguessing yourself, April is going to kind of push you forward into the action. It's going to feel like now is the time. This is not the energy that supports waiting for permission or certainty. 

This energy does support taking calculated risks rather than staying stuck, you know, rather than letting things sit for longer and think for longer and and ruminate. This is a let's just do it kind of an energy. But again, here's what I want you to remember. You need to know your mission before you take those bold moves because bold action without clarity is just chaos. It's just diving in with no plan, with no connection to the bigger picture. But if you have bold action with mission clarity, that's when the real momentum starts to happen in your business. And I would just remind you that that even though we have all this fresh start, courage producing energy, which is amazing. Depending on where this falls in your chart will give you an idea of whether it's go time or no time. And I would refer you back to the transits episode particularly for this because if all of this energy is falling in your 12th house or your fourth house, those hidden retreat type houses, it may not feel like go time. There may still be a lot of behind thes scenes stuff that has to happen, but maybe you're able to shift through those things quicker and you will still need connection to your mission in order to do that. Okay. Now, the energy shifts again when we get to the end of June when Jupiter, which has been hanging out in the delicious surrounds of Cancer, moves into Leo. Jupiter is a planet of growth, opportunity, expansion, wisdom, and it's been really happy in Cancer. It's been uplifted. It's been it's been able to give us its gifts more easily. We've had access to Jupiter's gifts. It's been very fortified in this position, right? very strong in Leo. It doesn't have the same level of fortification. It's not as strong, but it is still in the sun sign. 

So, there is like this expansion of creativity and self-expression that comes with Jupiter in Leo. There is a lot of confidence, visibility energy, authenticity energy that comes with Jupiter in Leo. And this is going to be hanging around for a year. Jupiter stays in a sign for about a year. So, from mid mid 2026 to mid 2027, we have Jupiter in Leo. This is a 12-month window of amplified creative energy and the opportunity or opportunities to step into visibility, step into the spotlight more, especially when you account for where this is in your birth chart. For instance, if you have a Leo midheaven or Leo 10th house of your chart, this will be a particularly expansive time for your business because we have Jupiter, the planet of expansion, literally hanging out in your public reputation and your professional area of your chart. So, that is something to consider. But here's what Jupiter in Leo is asking you to do. Own your niche. Show up as yourself. Stop trying to appeal to everyone. This is very authentic energy. The businesses that thrive in this time are the ones who are going to get specific about who they serve and confident in what they offer. And again, it brings it back to your mission statement because you're no longer going to be doing it for performative reasons. 

Even though Leo can get this rap of being the performer, and it is a performer in a way, the spotlight is on it because of an aspect that I'm going to talk about in a moment with the nodes, Leo energy and Jupiter and Leo in 26 and 27 is going to be much less about validation from performing and much more about showing your truth and shining a light on your inner authentic self. you know who you are here to serve, what you stand for, and showing up unapologetically in that energy. So again, know your mission because when you know your mission, you own your niche. It's easier to say, "This is who I am. This is what I do. This is who it's for." When you are clear on those things and you stop watering down your message to make everyone happy. This isn't about appealing to everyone. This is about appealing to the right people, the people that want or need what you have to offer. This allows you to get much more focused and more confident. And that's when the right people start showing up for you. Because people aren't looking for generic people who market in a generic way, it rarely works for them. The more specific your marketing message is, the more likely you are to attract great fit clients. So Jupiter in Leo is going to reward the businesses that know their mission and they that aren't afraid to own it. So let's just touch on a couple of these other significant transits that are happening in 2026 that I want to I want to mention and I will go into these in more depth in future episodes. But we do have in July we will have the lunar nodes shifting to the Leo Aquarius axis. Now the the lunar nodes or the nodes of the moon are the points the mathematical points at which we have eclipses. It's how we know when eclipses are going to happen because we've calculated the nodes. And so this is where the eclipse is going to happen over the next 18 months. And this is going to bring up a lot of themes around self-expression versus collective innovation. 

And I think I will do a full episode on the nodes and how they might show up for you personally in your own chart and that might help you understand this energy. But it's important to know that wherever the north node is is generally what we are seeking and what we are driving towards and the south node is the releasing point or the letting go point. So the south node is going to be in Leo. The north node is going to be an Aquarius. And that is why I think that combination of the south node and Jupiter in Leo is going to lead us towards authentic expression without the need for it to be performative and without the need to be validated anymore because the south node is there kind of spiritualizing that energy of Leo. And also the north node is in Aquarius. So there's a lot more focus on collective action on on groups and on collective action and we have Pluto also in Aquarius. 

So there's going to be like this hyperfocus on groups, communities and how we operate within those and which group we are a part of. There's going to be a lot more of that coming up. So that's the nodes and this is important. And it's important to know that for your business from a business perspective because those that will create a global theme that you need to be aware of when when it comes to your marketing and the economic influences of the time as well. 

From October to November, Venus, which is our planet of beauty, of love, of values, of connection, is going retrograde. You know, I love a Venus retrograde. That's sarcasm. I don't love a Venus retrograde because Venus is my ruling planet. Um but Venus will go retrograde. It has to. It's part of its natural cycle. It's very important that you know we acknowledge these processes because they are very clarifying times for us particularly if Venus is your ruling planet. There's a lot that goes on in that time. Venus will go retrograde in Scorpio and Libra towards the end of the year. And now this is a really potent time for relationships, for power dynamics, and for brand magnetism. Now, what I love about a Venus retrograde is it helps you get really clear on your brand values. So, if you are thinking about repositioning your brand or refining your messaging or deepening your client relationships, this Venus retrograde is going to be a great time for you to look into all of those things and to do that inner work. But again, I will dive more deeply into that when we get closer to those those dates in October. Importantly, don't don't launch a rebrand in a Venus retrograde. It is a great time to consider your rebrand and your messaging and all of those things because you get close closely connected to your values and your aesthetics and you might notice some changes when it comes to branding and aesthetics as well. So, for now, just know these transits are coming and that they're all asking the same question. Are you clear on your mission? Venus retrograde is also going to help you or going to going to test you in your clarity of mission. Let's bring this all together because there is a bigger pattern at play here. Saturn in Aries, Neptune in Aries, Jupiter in Leo. These are all leadership signs. These are all fire signs. 

We've got planets in fire signs. We've got planets in leadership places. Aries is the warrior, the pioneer, the one who goes first. Leo is the sovereign, the royal energy, the one who leads from the heart, the one who's not afraid to be seen. So 2026 is fundamentally asking you, are you actually leading your business or are you letting circumstances, other people's opinions, or fear make decisions for you? This is the year that you're going to step into that responsibility to be the boss of your own business to own your mission and let that be your north star for the year or the next few years because self leadership isn't just about making decisions. Anyone can make a decision in your business. It's about knowing why you are making certain decisions. It's about having the anchor, your mission that keeps you steady when everything else is moving fast and there will be a lot of things moving. There will be a lot of distractions. 

So, with all of this Aries, Leo, and Gemini energy, which is an air sign, which creates even more distraction and speed, things are going to move fast. There's going to be opportunities everywhere. There's going to be innovation and possibility and a thousand different directions you could go and a lot of news. But the question you need to keep coming back to is where's my energy actually going and why? How am I focusing it for best effect? This is where the mission statement becomes your superpower. Because when you know what you're here to do, why you're here to do it, you can make faster decisions. You're going to say no to things that don't serve you. You can stay on track even when the energy is moving fast and there are shiny objects everywhere. You have control over where your energy goes. You don't have control over everything else. You have control over where your energy goes. So don't let yourself get pulled in every direction just because the circumstances of the time is creating all of this possibility. Stay focused. Stay on mission. Be flexible. Absolutely. Be nimble because this this energy is going to ask you to move and adjust, but be intentional about those moves and adjustments always. 

So, while we're talking about focus and intention, I just need to say something about AI. By mid 2026, AI is going to be integrated into most business operations at an even deeper level than it is now. And like I said earlier with Uranus and Gemini, the tech advances are going to be significant. For small businesses, that is good news. You're going to do more with less. But here's what you cannot do. You cannot outsource your strategic thinking to artificial intelligence. You cannot do that. AI should be making you more efficient at executing on your ideas. It should not be making the decisions for you. You are still the one who needs to know what you're building and why. you are still the one who needs to know your mission. So use AI as a tool. Absolutely. I am pro- ethical AI use. But don't let it replace your judgment. Don't let it replace your vision. Don't let it replace your inner knowing, your self leadership. That's where your real value as a business owner is as an entrepreneur. 

And before I wrap up, I want to say something briefly. This energy of 2026 is stuff we've never seen in our lifetime. in many some some of it in many lifetimes. So, there can be a lot of fear when there's uncertainty. There's a lot of everything's changing and it's not going to be good and it's scary and we all need to be really careful about what we're taking on here because yes, we are living in significant global changes and yes, there are some big big challenges out there and yes, it's really uncomfortable. But what if there's also possibility here? What if there are things that need to change and dissolve, you know, Neptune and Saturn dissolution style? What if this is all happening because we are pioneering a new way that's going to be better? But most importantly, you get to choose what you believe. There's going to be a lot of things presented to you where it's going to be hard for you to trust information. It is the nature of Uranus and Gemini that because of all of this disruption to information and communication. 

And it is the nature now that we're living through this massive change in in AI that we are no longer able to tell truth from illusion. Sometimes the line is blurred. And if you believe in the doom and gloom, you will get doom and gloom. If you if you follow those leads, that's where it will take you, right? If you believe in what's possible, you'll find more possibilities. So, my advice here is to be a warrior, to stay focused, to stay on track, to be prepared, that all of these things are going to be thrown at you, that there will be challenges and disruptions and discomfort, but you are flexible, you are nimble, and you will not get derailed by fear. So, here's what I want you to do after listening to this episode. I want you to write your mission statement. One sentence, two maximum, but preferably one. What are you here to do with your business? Not what you think you should be doing. Not what sounds impressive. What are you actually here to do? Who are you here to serve and why?
