AS WE REST: Wild Camping on Dartmoor from Summit To Talk About
If you listened to the episode on the anniversary of the Kinder Scout Trespass, and our chat about the right to roam, this episode will be of interest to you. Until recently, Dartmoor National Park in the South West of England was the only place in England where it was legal to wild camp without permission from landowners. But on 13th January 2023, a High Court judgement ruled that wild camping is no longer legal on any Dartmoor land without the permission of the land owner.
