We trade perfection and restriction for support, community, and a plan that helps you feel better heading into summer.
• Why May feels like “Maycember” and how calendar chaos derails routines
• What Mayday Miles is and what it is not
• The “add instead of cut” question for movement, hydration, fuel, and grace
• Flexible options for walking, running, run walking, stretching, and mobility
• The five daily themes from Monday through Friday

Quick Invitation From Coach Christine

SPEAKER_00

Hey friends, it's Coach Christine. I'm popping in with a quick little invitation. Truly, if May has started to feel like one long calendar notification, this is for you. You know this is the part of the year where everything seems to pile up at once. End of school year events, graduations, work projects, travel plans, family commitments, and so much more. Settling routine is looking at you like bestie, all of these scheduling interruptions, we live here now. That is Maycember. It has all of that calendar chaos of December, but with a little bit more sunscreen, a whole lot more pollen, and absolutely zero respect for your training plan. So I wanted to create something short, simple, actually doable, and best of all, free. We can do this together. It's called Mayday Miles, and it starts Monday, May 18th. Mayday Miles is a free feel-good reset designed to help you to add a little movement, a little momentum, and a whole lot of support before summer fully takes over. But I want to be very clear about what it is not. It is not about overhauling your entire life in just five days. It's not about perfect training. It's not about earning your worth through your watch stats, your pace, your mileage, or how many boxes you can check while also trying to remember teacher gifts, dinner plans, and whatever mystery item is due tomorrow that no one told you about until bedtime. This is also not about restriction. You know, I'm not here to ask you what you're cutting out, what you're removing, banning, or white-knuckling your way through. Instead, Mayday Miles is built around a much more supportive question. What can you add that helps you feel a little bit better? Maybe it's more movement, maybe it's more water before that third emotional support coffee, maybe it's more protein at breakfast or a walk outside, five minutes mobility, or just texting a friend and saying, Hey, can you help me stay accountable this week? It's really all about adding more grace because sometimes that's the thing we need most. Each day of Mayday Miles will have a simple theme, a movement prompt, and one small add-in to help you feel more supported. We're gonna keep it simple because the whole point is that this fits inside of real life. You can walk, you can run, you can run walk, you can stretch, you can move for 10 minutes, you can use the prompt as a way to reconnect with your rhythm. You do not have to be training for a race, you don't have to consider yourself a quote unquote serious runner, because what even is that anyway? You do not have to be in your most motivated era. Honestly, if you're in just, I need a nap, a snack, and someone will tell me what day it is, era, welcome. Pull up a chair, or better get lace up and come for a walk with us. Here's how the week's gonna flow. Monday's May Day mission, where we start with intentional movement and choose what you want to add this week. Tuesday, we're gonna explore fuel and flow, where we look at how we can support our energy with hydration, fuel, or another small habit that helps us feel better. Wednesday is Window Wednesday, which is all about mobility, recovery, gentle movement, and letting your body exhale a little bit at a time. Thursday's Trail Buddy Thursday, where we bring in connection, accountability, and community, because we're not meant to do this alone. And Friday is Finish Line Field Day, where we celebrate the wins, the small steps, the check-ins, the adjustments, and the fact that showing up in a busy season absolutely counts. And yes, there are prizes. Because if you show up in the middle of May Summer, I firmly believe that deserves a whole lot of confetti. The prizes are there to make it fun, but the real win is that you're giving yourself a few days of support before summer starts shifting schedules, shifting routines, travel, there's that heat, of course, family plans, and the other real things that can make consistency feel a little slippery. Mayday Miles is also about a lead in to something bigger coming in June. You'll learn more about that later. So if you have been looking for a simple way to reconnect with movement community and a little momentum, this is the perfect place to start. You can join for free by heading to the link in podcast episode notes. And when you sign up, I'm gonna ask you for your name, your email, and I'm gonna ask you what you need the most support with right now. That's it. That helps me make the prompts and encouragement more useful for you because this isn't meant to be generic motivation. This is created to meet you where you are at. So if what you need is consistency, tell me. If you need a little bit more motivation, let me know. And if what you're looking for is accountability, energy, fuel recovery, or making a little bit of time for yourself, that's what I'm here for. If what you simply need is a place to start without making it complicated, well, Mayday Miles is all for you. You're welcome to invite a friend. In fact, please do. Sometimes the best way to restart is by not doing it alone, by saying, come do this with me. So bring your walking buddy, your run walk friend, your group chat bastie, your coworker who keeps saying she wants to get moving. Again, Mayday Miles starts Monday, May 18th. Let's go over it again. It's free. It's simple, it's supportive, and hello, it includes prizes. It's designed to help you add a little bit of movement, a whole lot of a reset, and a lot of support before summer fully takes over. So again, join on the Lincoln episode notes. Let's rescue a little rhythm together, and I'll see you there.
