On Friday, February 23rd the United States Polo Association played its 3rd Women’s Open Championship at the National Polo Center in Wellington, Florida. Two highly talented 22 goal-teams squared off on the Main Stadium Field in front of an energetic crowd. Team 90210 members, positions, and goal-ratings were #1-Winfred Branscum-3g, #2-Meghan Gracida-4g, #3-Catalina Lavinia-7g, and #4-Mia Cambiaso-8g. Team Buena Vibra members were #1-Valentina Terazona-1g, #2-Cory Williams-4g, #3-Clara Cassino Seppe-8g, and #4-Milly Hine-8g. The high scoring of this historically significant all-women’s match was bitterly contested down to the last minute of the final 6th 7-minute 30-second chukker of competition.
