Hello and welcome. This is self-love stories with your host, Jesse Anne Zayas, and today I am going to be sharing some lovely tips and ways to embrace eclipse season. And of course, from a self-love angle as well. So before we dive in, I was thinking as I as I was thinking before recording this podcast, there was a part of me that wanted to go into my fun, astrology zone and get really and then he gritty and personal and share exactly what this means for you. And then I thought, hold on a second. Let me take a step back. A lot of people don't even know what eclipse season is, what it even means, why it's important. And I think there's a lot of fear mongering as well around eclip season, a lot of disempowering ways of communicating eclipse season. And so I just wanted to offer a different perspective on eclip season and also to share how it can be a very transformative time for self-love and your purpose and living, your destiny. So let's go ahead and get into it. So first of all, what is a lunar eclipse? Because that is what we're embarking on this Thursday. And we are actually going to have a lunar eclipse in Virgo. And so a lunar eclipse occurs when the earth casts a shadow on the moon. So this typically is linked to endings to revelations, to emotional shifts. And so it really heightens the energy of what we would normally be going through during a full moon because a full moon is also about releasing an endings. So this is a very charged up time. It's it's, you know, for a lack of a better expression, it's on steroids, if you will, that energy. And so eclipses are seen as catalysts. They're seen as portals for change and even accelerating our fate, our destiny here in this lifetime. And so eclipse season is actually more of a passive relationship with the energy we're experiencing and what I mean by that is normally with full moons and new moons throughout the months, we would work with them like lean in engage, right? Like actually collaborate with the energy in so we might do ritual, right? We might manifest, we might do a forgiveness ritual. We might do some core cutting. We might um make intentions and goals and, you know, um work with the energy that is present to us to amplify those goals and to amplify those intentions and to amplify that manifestation to amplify that forgiveness and to amplify that cord cutting or whatever we're doing during those time in that season of a full moon and new moon. But eclipses um offer us the opportunity to actually take a seat back and allow the universe to actually show us what needs to happen in order of a transformation. And so that's where I came into with this with this specific podcast episode is like, oh, I can totally talk about how this, you know, eclipse in Virgo will impact everybody specifically. But I want to give everybody a more evergreen, a more, um, you know, stands the test of time if you will, application for eclipse. And and what I mean by that is I'm giving you tips and advice based on any eclipse season you'll ever embark on. So it doesn't matter if it's a lunar or solar or if it's in Aries or if it's in Virgo, this is going to be something that you can always anchor on and remember. So it kind of cuts through the noise, cuts through the chaos because that's what I'm also very present around eclip time. It's very confusing. It could be very um there could be a lot of things all going on at the same time. and you yourself might be feeling off kiltered. So how can you even listen to the lessons or see the lessons if you yourself aren't grounded? And so that's where I wanted to come to in this this episode specifically is to give you these like evergreen, these long lasting ways of grounding, no matter what eclipse season we're going to be embarking on. Because eclipse season happens every single year at least twice a year, once in the spring, once in the fall. So to that point, just know that this is something you can always go back on. And if you're not into astrology or really into the mooncles, um, you know, um habitually, if you will, just know that this is something you can always go back to in eclips season or any moment of your life that's feeling so uncertain and so unpredictable and just feeling that a lot of shifts and transformations are happening. Okay? So to that point, eclipse seasons in a beautiful way are here for our transformation. They are these portals for change. And so it's almost kind of like the um the phrase like, just know that life is happening for you, not to you during these times, right? And I feel that eclip seasons can be a little bit more harsh to folks that may not be an alignment with their highest self, their purpose, um So, and not in a punishment way by by any means y'all. Like that's not to say you're not like if this is if this is you that I'm speaking to, right, don't do not hear that from a judgment. Don't hear that from you're not living life right. What I'm offering here is the transformation actually may be a little bit more intense for you because eclipses are here to get you back on track, to get you back into alignment, to get you back to your purpose. So if you're somebody that's maybe has has been resisting that or has been, you know, deprioritizing, living life and alignment, no matter what that means to you, just know the eclipse seasons will probably be a little bit more transformative or feel more, like I said, for a lack of a better word, like harsh or intense or um, you can kind of like, you know, a punch in the gut, if you will, for you because it's trying to get you right back on that track. And since you've been off the track, it's going to feel a little bit more jarring because you have more space from on the track and off the track than maybe somebody else that has been a living more an alignment and more in line with their purpose. And again, not from a judgment perspective, but almost in a beautiful way that every year the universe is helping you get back on track. And so, again, life is happening for you, not to you, just know that these changes, these shifts are here for your highest good. And if you look it back at your life and you think about all those shifts that I have happened, for example, even in my own life, right, you know, um being laid off before, right? Um Changing careers, taking us symbatical. These are all moments in my life that were big shifts and changes and they all ricochet, you know, first when being something that I was completely unprepared for and realizing, oh my goodness, it gave me the best gift. It gave me the best perspective. It gave me a chance to to take a moment and say, what do I actually want to do in my life? be in my life? What actually excites me? What is my soul craving to be expressed to be shared, to be connected? And so all of these transformations and shifts, you know, when you look back in your life, even how hard they were, look at the gifts, look at the less lessons, look at the wisdom, and look at how they were actually most likely they're for your highest good. And so for this eclipse season, just snow again, if you end up getting any major shifts, so for example, losing your job or losing a loved one in terms of maybe a relationship loss, you know, losing anything, quote unquote, in your life, just know that there's a reason there's an intention. It's making space, it's making room. It's creating wisdom, it's creating a lesson for you to learn that is going to be very valuable for you. And, you know, even in ancient times, you know, eclipses were, you know, feared in a way, right? We were still trying to make sense of what was going on and there was a lot of chaotic energy during that time. So there was a lot more mysticism and a lot more, you know, kind of fear, if you will, around eclips season because there are a lot of potent shifts during eclipse season. So as we've all shared our knowledge around eclipses as we've all have refined our wisdom around eclipses, we now know there are nothing to really be feared because again, it's happening for all of our highest alignment. And that can be both happening collectively, like on a collective level, right? If you're looking at the collective state of things, things might seem very chaotic right now and I agree. And, right, we also know that sometimes, you know, sometimes these chaotic moments or these very disheartening things can evoke a new passion in us, a new fight within us, a new purpose within us, a new community to band with, so again, please as much as you can see the light during this eclipse, even though it's going to be most literally, you know, um shunned away, if you will, because again, with the eclipse season, that's just it too, is that it's it's going to be blocking the light of the moon, right? And so so just remember that light is there and don't forget that. And so I wanted to really go into, well, how can you best equip yourself during a clip season? So one of the ways to really be thinking about eclip season is since it's so transformative since it is a portal, since it's shaking things up, since it's a very unpredictable energy. And again, we don't like to do rituals during this time. We don't want to do like manifestation work or we don't want to, you know, set intentions during this time because the energy is a little a little chaotic. It's more like hear me see me witness me so I can be sharing with you. I like sharing with you how I'm helping you, um ship in shape your life into alignment for you. So it's more of like how can you be listening to the universe? How can you be seeing the signs? How can you be even listening to your own discomfort? Because again, this is going to be coming from within you too. It's not just an external thing. It's not just like wait and see externally what happens. There's also going to be a emotional changes happening. So your emotions, you might you might have heightened emotions during this time. Since it is in Virgo, for example, right, you could be feeling, you know, intense, you know, emotions of perfectionism, of over analyzing, of picking things apart. And it could be either leaning into energy or having an inversion to that energy. So just notice, you know, and again, this is this is an evergreen eclipse episode. So just notice what emotions are showing up during this time. And remember, all emotions are are beautiful, right? Let's not try to label them good or bad. But I'm going to use the term good and bad from the sense of like, I feel like that that's just common language with us, right? That even when you're feeling these quote unquote bad emotions, those are such valuable insights. So if you're feeling anxiousness with something or if you're feeling fear with something or if you're feeling anger, jealousy, resentment, shame, that is beautiful wisdom and notice where you're feeling it. So quite literally in your body, where you feeling it, how does it feel? And and then get even more curious, what is quote unquote causing it, right? Is it when I start working on something? Is it when I start thinking about something? Is it when I'm in relationship with someone? Is it when I'm in silence and stillness with myself, the restlessness shows up, like notice the internal dialogue that's going on during this time because it's both an internal and external message that's coming through for us all. Okay? And since we all right have different placements in astrology and since we all have our own different lived experiences, we all are going to be uh feeling differently with the eclipses as well. So it's a very personal experience to you. So tune in. And again, since with a lot of the unpredictable and chaotic energy, it's going to, in a way, it's it's it's going to want to distract you from the self. And that's why I felt so cull to to really share these types of tips with you for eclip season because I want you to be able to listen to yourself. I want you to be able to ground yourself so you can pick up on the internal and external messages that the universe are is trying to share and show you during this time. In a beautiful way, you don't have to do anything, but just be. And I would say like the three R's of eclipse is like rest restoration and resource resource. And what I mean by that is resource yourself, like what are the resources that keep you grounded, that keep you present, that keep you in a joy state, that keep you in a peace state, that keep you um when there's so much unpredicted, um unpredictableness and uncertainty and maybe a lot of things shifting and changing and unknowns. What are the resources that you have that keep you grounded, that keep your nervous system regulated, that keep you in a place of calm, inner peace so that you can really take in powered action from that. And then rest. We have to rest, okay? So a clip season is a beautiful reminder to really kind of charge up the batteries. Like this two shall shall pass, right? So know that eclipse season, even with its chaos and uncertainty and unpredictably unpredictability, just know that it will pass and again resting is so important. It's almost an invitation to rest because again, we're going to be receiving messages internally. That might actually be through dreams, that might be through meditation, that might be through silence, that might be through, I'm taking a shower in my nervous system's actually regulated so now I'm really hearing what my heart wants to tell me. So just know that rest is really, really important. And then restoration, right? It's it's it's time to restore yourself. So think about ways to restore your mental state. Think about ways to restore your physical state. Think about ways to restore your spiritual state. And I hope you're hearing like eclipses in is almost like a a reminder how important our self-care practices are. And self-care is a big part of self-love that we make the time, we make this a priority to pour into our cups. So we're coming from a place of overflow and not constant depletion. And so eclip seasons sometimes test us and remind us how full or empty our cups are. And so just a loving reminder to definitely prioritize your-care practices during eclips season. So, right, resource yourself. What are the resources, right? What are the self-care practices? um that you have that keep you grounded, that cultivate inner peace, that regulate your nervous system? And then how do you actually implement those? So actually start restoring yourself, do restorative practices, right? It's it's a time to to to get yourself ready to get out of eclip season because then right once we're out of it, now you're back with playing with the universe. Now you're back at taking that empowered action. So allow yourself to then lasting rest so that you can restore yourself and just always know that eclip seasons are the times to resource yourself. So the three ares, rests, restore, and resource. So let's talk about different ways that we can do that too and specifically um from an eclipse angle as well. So this is a great time for spiritual reflection. So again, when I use the word spiritual, it's not religious, right? This is again, whatever you consider um what sources or universe or consciousness, just that bigger than me. And I would also say soul reflection. You know, your soul, that that inner part of you, that divine part of you, you know, a body is just a body, but there's a soul within it, right? And we can't replicate that, right? We can't replicate a soul in this lifetime. We can replicate so many things, right? But we can't rep replicate the soul. So spiritual reflection is really important um during this time. So, you know, really thinking about realignment and um letting go of any outdated patterns that maybe you might be seeing within your spiritual um relationship. Releasing, again, these are really great times of releasing and surrendering. So what is your practice around releasing? What is your practice around surrendering? And then going back to notice the feelings inside, you know, if surrendering feels very anxious to you sit with that, notice that. notice the notice where in your life you want to bring more control and where you're wanting to actually surrender. And vice versa, notice where you're resisting surrendering in your life and get curious about those different areas in your life in which you're resisting surrendering during this time, because that's a big theme during eclip season is releasing and surrendering. And lastly, let's talk about like what can ecllipses actually teach us even further about our self- love? And how can we actually work with this a little bit more so some some tips and advice on how to um what not only eclipse seasons teach us about our self-lo, but also how we can work with them as well. Because remember, we don't quote unquote work with ecllipsses, but I'm going to show you what that could look like, though. That's both energetically in alignment with the eclipse season and also spiritually an alignment with the eclipse season as well. So, a few things of what the eclipse seasons teach us about self-love, right? And we already kind of talked about a few of these, but I really kind of want to integrate them even more. So the first one being letting go of what no longer serves you, okay? So eclipse seasons might unearth and might, um, might quite literally let go of that thing for you. Like you don't even have to do it. um And again, if you had been resisting that and you've been maybe ignoring it or you you're aware of it, but you're like, no, no, no, I can't do it. Eclipses of mine just go, you did it for you. So that might feel jarring. So just notice that, give yourself so much self-compassion, gave yourself forgiveness, right? Like just know that these eclipse seasons reveal emotional patterns. They reveal relationships or habits that drain you. and they're asking you to release them with love. So almost again, look at that as divine intervention, like right, if we can look at this from a place of shifting perspective, which is also an act of self-love, right? We can continue to speak to ourselves in a very critical way or a very judgmental way, or we can actually speak to ourselves in a very kind, compassioned, nurturing way. And that is the invitation is it's going to teach us about letting go and then also embracing that with love, embracing that with compassion, embracing that with grace. The other thing that's going to teach us is embracing change and growth, right? So it's going to nud us and show us that, hey, change is good and it can sometimes be ch jarring. It can sometimes be unpredictable. So that again, goes back to the resourcing, right? How do you resource yourself with a lot of change, which is a lot of growth, with with a lot of uncertainty. So it's going to teach us to embrace change and embrace growth because everything changes. Like that is the one thing that is constant is change. So these eclipses are teaching us and especially again, from a self-love perspective, we ourselves change. and it's okay to change. It's okay to change your opinions. It's okay to change your physical appearance. It's okay to change your profession. It's okay to change your relationships. It's okay for you to change. And change is part of growth. So how can you embody that and embrace that more, especially in terms of self-love? Also, the third thing I would say that eclipse what eclipses teach us about self-love is trusting the unknown. So much of life is unknown and quite honestly, I think I can actually say all of life is unknown, right? Like none of it's predictable. We can try our best to plan, to strategize, to use history and predictive AI models, to tell us like how it's going to be. But at the end of the day, everything is unknown all we have with great certainty is the present moment and that is it right there, what is in front of you today? That is the only quote unquote known that you have. So from a self-love perspective, so much of our self-love can get impacted by the sense of wanting to know and making decisions from a place of full knowing and we sometimes rob ourselves of faith of spontaneity, of creativity, because in the unknown, that's when some magic happens, right? If everything was known and everything was predicted, then we're not really living a life of free will. So, yes, the eclipses can remind us that transformation can be uncomfortable, but to also trust in divine timing and that trust in faith is an act of deep self-love, knowing that no matter what happens, you yourself got you you have you. you know you You can rise from this, right? And so trusting in yourself fully and completely in the unknown. The fourth thing I would say is the eclipse teaches us about honoring our emotional cycles. Like it's okay that our emotions change. It's okay that um especially in healing work as we know, it's a spiral. It's a beautiful spiral. It's like um a double, what is it? I know from saying this story, like a double helix, you know, DNA strand. Like it's spiraling, but it's still evolving and growing. And that is our emotional cycles as well. Like even though we're like, you know, oh, I felt like I already dealt with that. I already, you know, experiences. Well, life will show it to you again and again in different patterns because you're leveling up every single time. It's not the same experience. And also, your emotional cycles change, especially, you know, you know, speaking to the women out there. We know our emotional cycles change with our menstruation cycles, right? In the moon cycles, like emotions are cycles and that is okay. So eclipses highlight your inner world. They highlight that beautiful emotional world and they show you where you need more self-compassion and care, right? So again, going back to there are no good or bad emotions. Emotions are just emotions. Their energy in motion. right? And so when we um stifle our emotions, when we pushhed on our emotions, when we compartment mentalize our emotions, that causes disease in the body, ak disease. So things like inflammation, right? Things like, you know, all of a sudden having like a neck crrin and a back pain and da da Like those are ways that sometimes are keeping our emotions within us and not honoring our emotions can actually show up in physical ailments. So I lovingly share that that the eclipses can kind of highlight that for you. can highlight maybe some emotions that you've been hiding, some emotions that you've been pushing down and they may become like jarring up to the surface and you might be panicking and like, oh my goodness, oh my goodness, I thought I dealt with this or I thought I had this under control. And again, it's just showing you where you need more self-compassion and care because it's not the last time you're going to feel that way. I promise you, right? I think again, like some of the misconceptions of like healing work is like you go and heal and you're like, done, checked, no longer. healed. And it's like, yes, and um healing journeys are until the end of your and end of your time. You know, you're always healing, you're always growing, you're always rearning and unlearning. And so it's just honoring your emotional cycles because you're never not going to feel all the emotions, I guess is what I'm saying is like you're always going to, you know, you might have, you know, dealt with grief once and felt like you already dealt with grief and you're never going to deal with grief again, but we know that that's not the case, right? Grief is going to show up in another way and it not might it not it might not just be the grief of, for example, a loved one, like a loss in a death. It might be a grief of a past version of yourself. It might be a grief of a career you left. It might be a grief of a home you once had, right? Like grief can show up in so many different ways. So it goes back to honoring your emotional cycles, like your emotions are always going to be in cycle. And the most important thing is that you don't judge your emotions. You don't label them as good or bad. You actually receive them with compassion. And what does that mean? It's it's literally and it could look like, for example, you know, having a conversation with yourself, like, I feel you, I hear your grief. Let me sit with you and let me hold all of you, and then maybe you take it a step further and you say, hey, what do you need in this moment? How can I support you? How can I love you with the grief? Right? And so it's it's you know, some people might call it shadow work. Some people might call it inner childwork. It's connecting with those bits of us that sometimes we really push down in shy away and quite honestly minimize. So that's the other thing is like the eclipse is going to show you like maybe where you're minimizing your emotions and your and quite honestly, you know, your emotions might be um a signaling for even something deeper. So just get curious and and bring that self-compassion and care. And lastly, I would say what the eclipses are teaching us about self-love in in particular is shedding old identities. So they really encourage you to drop limiting beliefs. They really encourage you to step into your authentic power. And so, again, for some of us that can feel very jarring and for some of us, it can be very, actually exciting because we've been doing the work and we just needed that extra little nudge and push. But if for some of us, if we're not living in our offhenticity or if we're allowing limiting beliefs to continue to stop us from living the life we want to live, the eclipses might show us the importance of shedding those old identities. And again, it might do it for you. So you don't have to do it yourself. And again, thank you. Thank you for doing that. You might not feel an immediate, thank you, but just know again it's happening for you, not to you. Okay. So just to recap those top five, it's right, letting go of what no longer serves you. Number two embracing change in growth, number three, trusting the unknown. number four, honoring your emotional cycles and then last but not least, number five shedding old identity. So those are the really big kind of lessons that the eclipses teach us every single year. And so now I want to share like, well, how do we how do I work with the eclipses, especially right from a from a self-love perspective to cultivate that self-love because ultimately that self-love cultivation is going to give you that self-confidence, that self-belief, that self-trust, that self care that is really, really needed during eclip season time. So self-love, if anything is one of the most important things during eclip season. So one of the ways that you can work with this is to pause and reflect. And so instead of rushing to, again, change things make goals to manifest, to set intentions, like actually take the time to journal about what is shifting in your life, like be a witness, notice, be an observer, where in in noticing your life where you need more self-care. So it's almost like be in stillness, be the observer, be reflective. Like you don't have to really do anything or create anything, but the doing is the observation, the doing is the reflection, the doing is being in maybe a quote unquote hermit mode, right? being a little bit more retreated from society. So you can be the observer and pause and reflect and take time. If journaling's not your thing, even just having conversations with yourself, voice noting yourself., you know, taking time to talk out loud. Like if you don't, again, if you don't like journaling and writing, even saying it out loud, like responding to journal prompts out loud via voice audio and replaying it back to hear how it sounds. Like that can be a very powerful way to pause and reflect. And again, this is a relationship to you. So a lot of times, you know, pause and reflects like, oh yeah, easy go. Well, let's be honest. Being in stillness and being in silence in today's society is a challenge, right? And so it takes intentionality. It takes self- love. It takes dedication. It takes resiliency to really be with yourself. Okay? Be and what I mean by that be with yourself, be with all of the mental chatter, be with all the maybe anxious um feelings you're feeling in your body, be with the limiting beliefs, be with the, you know, um lack of confidence or the fear, like be with it. And that's okay. Again, you don't have to change anything. You don't have to do anything just can you just be with it? So pause and reflect and be with yourself and remember that self-compassion, no judgment, it's okay. It's okay you're feeling this way. Every way that you're feeling and every emotion you're having is validated. And again, don't minimize it, especially yourself, right? When you minimize your own feelings and emotions, you're in a way kind of chipping away at your own self-trust and at your own self-love. Because now you're saying that, no, those emotions aren't true or those emotions aren't needed and they absolutely are. Your body, your heart, your soul, a part of you is is trying to be expressed and is trying to tell you something. And the more we push that down, right? I even really grew up in in in that environment of like mine over matter. And yes, that served me in some ways. And it really um robbed me of the relationship that my emotions were trying to have with me. So now, you know, I've have been and continue to embark on a journey of connecting with what my body is actually trying to tell me. And then honoring that. And that was kind of a two-st step process. Like step one, what the hell is my body even trying to tell me? What are my emotions even saying, you know, like, what emotion I am I even experiencing? Because I've I've spent a long time in my life pushing down any quote unquote bad emotion. So even when I'm experiencing one, it's very hard for me to even hear it and listen to it because I spent so much time ignoring it and telling it to be quiet or to shut up or whatever judgmental thing I was saying to it. So to that point, again, mine mine over matter served me in some ways, right? Pushing through my fear, pushing through my anxiety, pushing through um, I'm trying to think of like another, like pushing through my, you know, maybe my, um shyness rate. But instead now embracing it and, which gets me to my second thing, you know, practic practicing forgiveness and releasing like it's so interesting to me how quickly we can forgive others. And when we go to shine that same light to ourselves, it could be challenging. And so that is what the eclips season is also allowing us an opportunity to deepen our relationship to to forgiveness. Not only with ourself, but to other people, and so even, you know, with these emotions that you're experiencing, right, like forgiving yourself, like it's okay. And if you made mistakes, right? If you maybe to your point, you know, feel like you didn't make an aligned choice or decision, knowing that you can forgive yourself and release that and forgiveness is for you, not anybody else, forgiveness is for you. And I want to be clear forgiveness is also not, you know, for example, somebody, you know, calls harm to you for in your, again, practicing forgiveness, forgiveness is not saying what they did was right. Forgiveness is not saying what they did, you know, your your your um um accepting what they what they did the harm that they did. Forgiveness is for you. It's a release, right? It's for you. It's not for them. It's so that you can let go and you can then take your full power back because when you're still holding maybe anger, resentment, sadness, hurt, um and again, this is holding on to it. It's okay to experience it, of course, if somebody wronged you, right? Um, you know, again, going back to the pause and reflect, you know, notice the anger, notice the resentment, notice the maybe the feelings of defeat. And also, how can you release those and forgive those? Because holding it on, like holding on to those emotions and holding on to that resentment or that anger is is only, you know, hurting you. It's not hurting that other person. And so that's why forgiveness is an act of self-love because it allows you to release so you can be free. So you can now continue to create the life that you want to live. So for example, you can write a letter to yourself. That can be very therapeutic of all the ways in which you want to forgive yourself or ways that maybe you haven't forgiven yourself and you now want to or others, by the way, in expressing that you're ready to release. You're ready to let go. And you can burn this. You can bury it, you know, as, you know, a loving ritual if you would want as a way to kind of, quote unquote, let go. But that can be really powerful during eclipse season as well. We already kind of talked about this, but I want to emphasize this rest and replenish, right? This is a beautiful time to prioritize rest, to prioritize hydration, like no joke, drink your water and hydrate during this time. and grounding practices like breathwork, like nature walk. So again, going back to those resources, like what resources do you have to ground yourself? I love breath work. I love nature walks. I will say also just literally laying down on like solid ground and like listening to maybe even frequency music or even like a chill playlist is very grounding to me. So just start learning what your grounding practiceices are and what really allows you to be in that rest and restorative state. Because these eclipses can feel very energetically intense. They can kind of maybe, you know, take you off kilter if you will. So really prioritize Russ, literally block your calendar seriously, like put time out so people can't schedule meetings and put you first, right? Or else as we know, it becomes OPP. Other people's problems on your calendar. So prioritize rest, prioritize yourself. Self-compassion check in. So again, checking in. Journal prom. Where are you being too hard on yourself? Notice that. How can you nurture yourself more? See what shows up when you answer these questions. This can be a really great time to really check in on yourselfcompassion. And so I hope those two journal prompts can give you a little bit more insight in ways that you can cultivate more compassion and maybe where you're blocking some self-compassion within yourself. Also setting new boundaries, you know? So these are really great times to notice where your energy leaks are. So during a clip season again, notice which draining you. Notice what's giving you energy. And when you notice the energy leaks, what healthy boundaries can you create that can support your wellbeing? So, right? This can you might realize a certain job task strains you. You can notice a certain relationship drains you. You can notice a certain habit of yours drains you. So just get curious and notice your energy leaks and remember everything that we said, you know, earlier about grounding, about being the observer, about resting. This is going to allow you to notice those energy leaks too. So if you're not allowing yourself again to rest, restore, and resource yourself during this time, you might not even notice the energy leaks because you're kind of in in it too much. So again, the goal here for eclips season is to, you know, how can you be that observer from arrested, grounded place as much as you can so you can witness the ships? You can witness the transformation. You can see where universe is literally pointing out, hey girl, I'm getting you back on track and this is the way in which I'm doing it. And oh, by the way, here's your homework assignment that I'm going to also leave you with a.ka, maybe those emotions that are showing up, maybe those limiting beliefs that are showing up. Again, just a lovingly showing you those areas that are craving, love and attention and support so that you can be living from a place of abundance and joy and confidence and peace and spaneity and trust and faith, all of the good things, right? Of just feeling more helled than feeling that it's that it's like heavy for a lack of a better expression. So setting new boundaries can be really important during this time if you're noticing those or if you're taking that time to notice the en energy leaks and notice where your energy is going um during eclip season as well. And remember, boundaries again, rate can be boundaries with you, can be boundaries with technology, can be boundaries with relationsh. So boundaries can come in different shapes and forms. So just like notice again, um where your energy leaks are and then from that point, you can create some boundaries that can support your wellbeing. The last two I'll give you are tuning into your intuition, right? So this is again, a very beautiful time to really hear that inner call to hear that inner voice, to listen to that, um to listen to your intuition. And so our intuition speaks to us in so many different ways, right? And actually had a really amazing time when I taught my last cohort of school of intuition, just the different ways, not only from, you know, the different clas, where the different clairvoyances, if you will, but also the different somatic areas in which we collect intuition data, rates some of us feel it in our guts, some of us feel it in our heart, some of us literally hear a little voice, right? We all tap into our intuition in different ways. But most importantly, our intuition loves to speak with us. and trust me, it speaks us in so many different ways and doesn't matter about a regulated nervous system, but it also does matter about a regular regulated nervous system and what I mean by that is I'm not saying your intuition will never speak to you if you, you know, your nervicism isn't regulated. But can you imagine when your nervous system is regulated, right? When you are in a grounded state, when you have cultivated inner piece, you can hear the intuition more and you can decipher it and distinguish it from maybe like anxiety or your ego, right? Or fear. So practice tuning into your intuition during eclipse month in a really great way to do this is meditate. I know some of us have an amazing relationship with meditation. I know some of us have an inversion to meditation and what I will say is there are so many different types of meditation, right? There is guided meditation where you actually hearing somebody guide you through and that can help people sometimes with mental chatter and people that are very visual people really love a guided meditation because it helps them really drop into the state. Also, just, you know, just playing some frequency music and sitting down for five minutes in that space is meditation as well, sitting in silence could be meditation. But I want you to know that there's different types of meditation. Go and discover what your jam is. And I promise you, for example, walking meditation might be your jam. That's beautiful. You can have movement meditation as well. It doesn't just have to be a quote unquote still in it's still in silence way. And the most important thing and why I'm sharing this, especially from a self-love perspective, is because meditating allows us to hear what our soul is whispering to us, okay? What truth are you ready to acknowledge? What truth are you ready to acknowledge and that could be a journal prompt after, um meditation or it could be um a journal prompt that you sit with before meditation and ask literally your heart, your soul, your intuition, what truth am I ready to acknowledge? and sat there and listen and notice what comes up nothing is right or wrong. It just is, and just notice again the emotions that rise through your body as maybe these insights trickle down into you. So definitely tune into your intuition, your intuition loves to speak to you when you have a regulated nervous system. So all the things that we talked about, the breathwork, the pausing, the spending time of nature, the resting, the replenishing, the self-compassion, right? That's all going to help you have a really amazing, not only regulated nervous system, but cultivating that inner piece within you so you can listen and hear those soul nudges and those heart callings that a lot of us, by the way, again, myself included, have pushed down and um kind of squashed, if you will, or um, you know, remove their voice quite honestly, right? Because, you know, I was like, no, I haven't got time for that. No, this is the way. Right? So tuning into your intuition allows you to recalibrate um connecting back to your heart, connecting back to your soul and cultivating that relationship with your heart and soul. And you've already cultivated such a, you know, a strong relationship with your mind and now it's and now your heart and your soul are saying, hey, give me that same attention and start learning my language, because again, it's it might be a different l language in which your mind communicates. And, you know, a beautiful tip um, I once got from actually, one of my therapists at one time, you know, literally said, hey, have you ever asked mind? Like, I sometimes I have a lot of mind chatter and so meditation can sometimes be challenging for me, especially when, you know, I'm experiencing anxiety. And she had mentioned, you know, hey, have you ever actually asked mine to step away so you can listen to body? And I hadn't and I thought that was kind of in a way a little silly and I was like, well, I'll try it. And I was shocked, shocked when I asked that, my mind for the first time and forever went bloop, gone. It was almost like no problem. All you had to do is ask, right? And so it literally I felt it even like move away and it felt like energetically like a spotlight was on my body and I was like, oh my goodness, I've never had this happen before. So just a beautiful little tip, maybe it works for you. Gently ask your mind. Hey mind, can you step away for a moment? I'm really trying to listen and connect with body and here what she has to say for me. And you may be pleasantly surprised. It could be like, no problemo been wanting to take a break. You you guys have all the time you you all want to have together. So definitely tune into that intuition and practice some intuitive connection work and meditation and being in silence and, you know, connecting with your heartspace can be a really beautiful way to do that. The last thing I will see in terms of like how to work with the eclipses for self-love is, you know, having some really beautiful sacred self-care rituals, you know? So again, we don't want to do any kind of, quote unquote, like ritual work from the sense of like, manifesting or creating goals or intentions. Again, this is a time to rest, restore and replenish yourself. So to that point, these sacred self-care rituals can look like taking a salt bath. It could be cleansing your space. It could be doing a self-love tarosp spread or oracle spread to connect with your inner wisdom, to connect with your intuition. So like what juicy self-carer rituals can you do for your time? Maybe it's a really juicy lymphatic massage. Maybe it's aromotherapy work, maybe it's creating a really juicy morning routine for yourself where like you are your altar and you are like adorning yourself with some oil and nourishing your skin and drinking a really big juicy cup of water with some lemon in it. like, how can you just make yourself care practices almost feel like you're living the life of a goddess? and you're adorning yourself with all this beauty and love and self-care to really just cultivate again um cultivate that relationship with yourself that you are the most important relationship in your life, the way that you treat yourself becomes a direct reflection of what else is created in your life. And so offering that that almost that extra level of self-care in sacredness in your self-care can be really juicy during eclipse season. And it's almost like a loving invitation since you don't have to do anything, you're like, oh, thank you. Thank you eclip season. You you got this cover for me. All I need to do is listen and notice in a way, right? These sacred self-care rituals again can help you connect with your intuition, can help you cultivate that self-forgiveness, can help you cultivate that rest and replenishment, like all the things that we have been just talking about earlier. These self-care rituals can be a really beautiful way to alchemize what maybe used to be a routine for you into a ritual. And that's actually what I really taught during my art of ritual. um, um three-part workshop was, you know, how to alchemize routines into rituals and make them more meaningful and how you can find magic in the mundane. And so again, like even the act of brushing your teeth, like how can you make it more sacred? Like I had a beautiful girlfriend of mine um tiff with curl crushed yoga. She just shared um we were just having a beautiful conversation about this one day and she shared like even when she was brushing her teeth, like she'll even, you know, um sail a little like um affirmation and mantra and I'm totally going to butcher her words. So please don't reote me on this, but it was something to the line of like, you know, asking, you know, asking for, hey, can you please give me the beautiful words and the sacred words and can you help me find my words? And can you help me speak with my truth? And, you know, as she's like spitting out, you know, you know, your toothpaste right? Like you're like, you know, you know, you know, washing out your mouth, you are also saying, and then I release any, you know, negative, you know, speak or any negative thoughts or any negative, you know, intentions that would ever come out of my mouth. I release them. So her act of even brushing her teeth is more intentional. She's like asking for give me those words allow me to speak to my from my heart, allow me to find those words in clarity. allow me to speak truth and wisdom into this world in release any negativity, release any, you know, clutterness, release anything that is not serving me in terms of my voice and in terms of my dialogue in terms of my communication. So something as brushing your teeth can be a sacred self-care act and you can bring so much more intentionality behind that, even eating something like right before you eat it, like really be thinking about all yourselves and what they're going to be receiving and the energy and your organisms and your liver is going to get this vitamin and your, you know, your um, your heart is going to get this mineral or vitamin like really just again, just like make even eating a sacred act for yourself. It's like how can you make yourselfare rituals as sacred and beautiful for yourself? So again, you know, if, you know, putting on lotion after the show is like an i roll, again, put on some music, think about yourself as a goddess and like, would, you know, would Cleopatra just be like scoffing at putting beautiful oil on herself? No, she'd be relishing it in and, you know, feeling delicious and beautiful in it. So it's like, you know, connect with your inner goddess during this time. Give yourself that sacred love. Treat yourself like a goddess. And, you know, allow self-care and even, you know, um hygienic routines almize them into self-care rituals. Those are easy ones to bring a little bit more intentionality into them, even when you're taking a like one of the things I always do when I take a shower, right, is at the end, actually think about a beam of light. And I start growing my light and sharing my light and I'm releasing any negativity. And I and I literally say, hey, any negative, you know, feelings or beliefs or, you know, um, any, you know, anything that is not serving me, I release it. And this is now releasing and going down the drain. And I am cultivating my light. I amm cultivating my joy. I'm cultivating my abundance. I'm cultivating my expansion. And I just think about myself as a big ball radiating of light and sometimes I zoom up into the cosmos or whatever. Like again, it's whatever visual you want. This is my visual. I'm just being very um very transparent about sometimes what happens, but just that sacred act of, you know, seeing myself in that light and being the light and saying I am the light and I am one with the light and the light is within me. and then I open up that shower door and it's like, I'm stepping out into a whole new world. Okay? And like that is another way of like, again, making something a little bit more sacred. And again, it just reminds you of your sacredness of your divinity. You are a miracle on this earth for you to be here right now as a miracle, so remember that and offer yourself all that love, all that compassion, all that celebration that you are here and you are breathing and that is enough, okay? So eclipses are cosmic resets that invite you to love yourself through change, to trust your transformation and embrace who you are becoming. sending you so much love during eclip season, you have this, you got this, everything you need is inside you. And just listen, listen and witness. That's all you got to do. Rest, restore and replenish yourself. Send you so much love, many blessings, until the next eclipse season we'll talk soon.
