Now it's your boy MDEE The veteran, and welcome to the real ones reserved podcast where we talk about real things that need to be talked about. Disclaimer, I am not a licensed psychologist, therapist, psychiatrist, counselor or any type of behavioral health expert. These are only my  thoughts, and ideas. With that being  said if you care to  listen, do so with an open mind, let's go.

Welcome to the real ones, reserved podcast, your host, your boy MDEE, the veteran where we talk about self-awareness and inspiration. Happy Tuesday to. Hopefully it's a taco Tuesday, again for you all. If you're a healthy person, Hey, just make you a healthy version of that taco. It's still taco Tuesday though.

I hope you all had a good productive Monday on yesterday. Uh, unfortunately I was unable to get on and do the show. Your boy was in a lot of pain, but you know, today I'm a little better, so let's get to it. So let's talk about authentic. I hear somebody say, Hmm, why are we talking about authenticity of MDEE?

Because authenticity is so important. It's so vital to new ideas to originality, to becoming better. You have to stay original to yourself. And I get nowadays how that may be scary. Social media, uh, pretty much controls the masses. It controls what's popular, the popular opinion, the popular, um, way to look at things.

Now I hope I could get a witness that just because an opinion is popular, that doesn't make it correct. Yeah, I'm that person that'll challenge things rather than just go the way everybody else is going. So it's very important to be an independent thinker. Otherwise you're gonna be always looking around to see what someone else thinks you have your own brain, your own brains to make sense of what's happening around.

You could draw conclusions. You could come up with new insights, you could develop new criteria. You can come up with all these different things. Like let's think about restaurants for a little bit. I'm super huge on seafood. Love my food from Louisiana, right? So I'll go to these authentic seafood places that serve Louisiana.

and I don't think it's authentic. It don't taste like it's from the N.O. I'm sorry. It just don't . So using that word authentic is very important. That word brings you back to roots, the origination, the origination process, you know, them original recipes, those original traits. It's very important. Now, I think it's also important that everyone gets an authentic look at their traits.

Okay. Traits, DNA, things of that nature is what you're partially made up of. Right? The rest of that comes from the culture that you grow up in the environment that you grow up. So all these things triangulate together, making you yourself. So it's pretty crazy to depend on someone else to see how you should act or what's acceptable.

What's acceptable behaviors for you to, um, put on, cuz let me tell you one. None of us have it together. Totally. I'm gonna say that again. None of us have it together. Totally. Some people are better off than others. Some people fake the funk completely, and some people will just present the real stuff. And that's me, man. That's me. That's why I like to be my authentic self.

I ain't trying to mislead nobody. I'm not trying to have anyone think I'm an angel or I'm perfect. Or I got my stuff together. No, man, it's a struggle. But through the struggle, you should maintain yourself, your authentic self. Now don't get that saying confused with being stagnant. I'm saying like, keep those things as far as your character, your, um, Traits, all those things locked in and just build off of those things.

As a person, also being authentic could be extremely important to the future. Maybe you have the next million dollar deal in your mind. And you're just saying to yourself, no, that's stupid. No, you have those ideas for a reason, whether it's to bring those ideas forward as an individual. Or to pass them together with some other team members.

You never know where that idea or ideas can land you in the future. So don't sleep on yourself. That's why it's important to be authentic, bring forth those great ideas. Don't sleep on your yourself. Now I know mankind has been around for quite some time for. A lot of ages  so maybe everything has had the potential to be thought about.

At least once I'm just shooting in the dark right now, but still take a chance. Still try to reach for your authentic self. Try to stay as true as you can to yourself. So we don't need no copycat. We don't need no carbon copies. We don't need no extra copies. None of that stuff. Everyone should strive to be their authentic self and continue to strive and be better each day, wrapping up today's show.

I hope you all learn something. I hope that you're able to reach for your authentic. Uh, because guess what you need to believe in yourself. You shouldn't be believing in no one else more than you believe in yourself. And I mean that, so we're all capable of great things. I hope you guys all learn something today and there's always, it's your boy, the veteran.

So who you think you're better than.
