What's happening everybody it's your boy it's your host MDEE the veteran of the real ones reserved podcast good morning to y'all good afternoon whatever time of day it is in your area hey welcome to the real monster server podcast where we talk about you know mental health baby we talk about the struggle we talk about you know just the mental effects of trauma and all kinds of other stuff man but most of all we're optimistic but realistic you know what I'm saying we're optimistic but realistic which essentially means hey we take the realness of life we take the suckiness of life and we acknowledge it and we push through it you feel me so before we get started today let's take a moment like share and subscribe to the show man make sure y'all tell somebody about the show as little as you may think that may be that's huge that's marketing that's networking you know help the real ones reserve podcasts get the message out to everybody else that needs you know some assistance in their day-to-day living so I'm not going to waste too much of your time on this beautiful Wednesday it's kind of beautiful this is less ugly than yesterday so it's beautiful in my opinion but without further ado let's get into it I hear somebody pondering hmm MD what's the importance of what do you mean by helping when you can helping when you can by me is everybody's individual responsibility So what I mean is when help is in your ability to help someone whether it's like whatever situation they may be and you're traveling on it you need to help that person not saying you need to stop and help everybody but you need to stop and help that person for example y'all know I like coming excuse me y'all know I like coming with the stories and of course I'm going to tell you about me I'm going to tell myself or whatever so I remember living in El Paso I was in horizon and was kind of running late for church at the at the moment and I saw this young guy and his car had broken down and he was just like in an awkward position hi I was on the ground like pretty much it was on the ground so it's kind of tough getting the Jack or whatever under there and he was just standing there and some friends were just looking at him and so I stopped and I'm talking to him I'm like what's up man like you know how can I help you and pretty much she told me thanks for stopping he had been there for like 5 hours and his friends just looking at him all crazy I'm like well damn like who going to stop and help the dude so when you have this gut feeling that you need to stop and help somebody you should do it you know and I'm trying to get better about that myself I'm not going to say I've been running late and saw some people on the highway I wish I could have helped I'm like man I got to keep going so instances like that that's when you got to keep it moving you know but if you feel like you have the time you know help somebody man you being a blessing to them you being just a wonderful you know pleasant surprise for them you know because how wonderful is it you know when something comes through or someone comes through and gives you some assistance you know they like damn like thank you man you know so that's like twofold to me like if I were to the person that's given some help or some assistance of some sort I feel great I'd be like damn man I help that person man that's a great feeling I know God saw that and you know I'm grateful to be able to be a part of that person's you know joy you know bringing them some joy instead of you know bringing them anything else I mean helping when you can right like how selfish is it if you're able to help someone and you don't just because of formalities you know that's just not being a good human it's not our let's not even make it that complex right there's karma comes from everything you know karma comes from hey man oh you winna laugh at somebody and watch something funny happen to you know like karma works that way so I'm always trying to be mindful of that because karma has shamed me a bunch of times like for real for real wrapping up today's show I know it was short and sweet today that's OK though long as you guys walk away with the understanding of you know you need to help people when you can long as you guys walk away from that and you know do a little bit better my job is done you know and as always I hope y'all continue to support the show make sure you like share and subscribe and that's always it's your boy the veteran so who you thinking better than y'all have a good Wednesday
