The Dallas Cowboys stunned the Giants 40-37 in overtime, Brandon Aubrey kicking the game-winner after Russell Wilson’s 450 yards and Malik Nabers’ 167 yards and 2 touchdowns weren’t enough. But that was just the beginning of a wild slate of games.

Around the league, the Buffalo Bills dominated the Jets 30-10 with balanced offense and defense. The Detroit Lions dismantled the Bears 52-21, showing no mercy. The San Francisco 49ers edged the Saints 26-21 in a tight battle that came down to the wire. The Patriots shocked the Dolphins 33-27, while the Rams handled the Titans 33-19. Every division saw movement, every fan base saw drama.

And for the Giants, it’s not just the losses piling up — it’s the 2023 draft class showing cracks. Deonte Banks lost his job to Cor’Dale Flott, John Michael Schmitz ranks 32nd out of 39 centers with a 58.1 grade, and Jalin Hyatt has yet to see the field. Eric Gray, Tre Hawkins, Jordon Riley, and Garvarrius Owens are all either barely hanging on or already off the roster. It’s looking like one of the most disappointing classes in recent memory.
