The Kick It with Katie Podcast covers different aspects of youth soccer in the United States and around the world. I share stories from former youth players and their pathway through the youth systems and where it took them in life whether it be playing collegiate, playing professionally or finding another avenue, we have it all. The show will also cover coaching, recruiting, and other topics in the youth soccer landscape. I find that sharing your stories will help others in their pursuit of the same goal. Abby Carchio is the other co-host of the Megged Podcast, she gets to share her story through her soccer career so far. We focus most of our discussion on her collegiate and professional careers and how she has navigated both. She shares the teams and countries she has played in and the difficulties of some of her situations. Abby has also started her coaching career in Europe and her hopes to coach professionally in the future. What advice does she have for players and parents of today? We also need some answers to some questions we posed in this episode, so if anyone has any answers please reach out to us!
