But if you just get a GA ticket, which is $12. Seating is first come, first served, and I would say arrive about two hours before they open the doors, you can get a really good seat.

But yeah, guys, so I was on vacation. So where did you go, Mel? I went to Greece, guys. It was the best time. I'll like break it down by exactly where we went. But guys, so yeah, went to Greece, but getting there, oh my god.

Dude, I felt so bad because I was tracking media. So this is how it works. Whenever either of us travel anywhere, we really I feel like when it's work, we still talk because it's like normal, but we're when we are on vacation, we don't really bother each other. Yeah. When we're on vacation, we bother each other the day of travel, like there and back because we need to make sure that the other one gets there. Yep, and like I was tracking you, I'm like, damn, this bitch is at the airport for a very long time. What the fuck is going on?

So, guys, okay, we fly from LAX, took Air Canada. Okay, we got Air Canada, it was a good deal. Apparently, Air Canada is like either Delta or American Airlines, whatever. We're like, great, it's gonna be a good fight, whatever. We did Air Canada, and we were supposed to go from LAX to Montreal, and then from Montreal to Athens. Great. We're in LAX, we get there early because they're like TSA, you know, you see all of these TikToks, like TSA is gonna be a shit show blah blah. There was no one, so great. Um like who cares? At least we get there in time, and it was so quick. Um, and then with immigration now, like one, I don't think we we didn't have to do it on the way um out. It was just coming in, but even then, like it's just you stand in front of a computer and that's it. Like, they just scan your face, you don't need to do the whole passport thing anymore. Um, but whatever, we get there, we go through TSA. Great, it's a smaller, like we're like, we're gonna get like a drink or like whatever. Well, first of all, we're like, oh, there's like nothing in this like airline, like I well, I guess how do you get a terminal? I was like, there's like nothing in this terminal. There's a pizza coffee, and then the like the drinks or whatever, like the restaurants wouldn't open yet until like a certain time. We're like, what the hell? But we're like, okay, maybe if we go to Tom Bradley, we couldn't do Tom Bradley because you had to take a shuttle. But, anyways, all that to say, we we get there, fine, we get a coffee. Finally, they open like the bar thing because we're like, okay, like just let's just get a drink for the vibes. Get the drink, and then the flight is boarding. We finally we go to our flight, whatever. We're on the aircraft, we notice it was like getting delayed. We're like, what's going on? They make an announcement, hey guys, so we actually our engine is failing, and we need to check um the flight, and we have to do all this stuff. We were like, we all looked at each other, was like, the engine, what like get us off the plane and put us in a new one? Like, what do you mean? You were on some final destination shit. Like, it was crazy, and like we're like, okay, whatever. So we're on the plane at 30 minutes past, 40 minutes past. At this point, I'm freaking out because I'm like, Did you guys forget we have a connecting fight? We have to be at Montreal by this time. There's like finally, I start texting the group chat because the girls were sleeping, they fell asleep, whatever. I turn around, I'm like, guys, like, what's going on? And then we hear it again. Hey, like the engine's still, we're gonna do a test run, like reverse and come back in. You're gonna see that a few times, or like feel that a few times. And at this point, I'm like, oh my god, I I finally asked the flight attendant, like, hey, like we have a connecting flight, like, how is this gonna work? Are we gonna get there in time? Is it gonna be put, like, you know, we have to figure that out. She's like, Yeah, no, I know there's 20 of you. And then I was like, Okay, and then they're like, babe, it is what it is. Yeah, she's like, There's 20 of you. She's like, You should be fine if anything. At this point, they'll like re like relocate you guys or whatever, rechange your rebook you guys to different flights. And I'm like, Oh fuck. At that point, I was like, Okay, well, we're not making it, like that, that just solidified it. And then whatever, they're backing in and out, and I'm like, get us off this plane, it's still not gonna work. It's an engine, and I'm like, okay, whatever. And then finally, the last backup, it keeps going, and it's like, all right, so now we're leaving. Is this the wave you guys telling me as we're leaving? They're like, Okay, y'all, like not y'all, but okay, guys, so we're like now leaving. It's a pilot, thank you for your patience, whatever. At this point, it was like an hour, an hour and a half in, and I was like, Oh my god, they're like, We're gonna try and get there as fast as possible. I'm like, oh god, as fast as possible with this engine problem. And then whatever we start going, I was like, listen, if it happens, it happens, it is what it is.

It's like none of them. No, um, yeah, at that point, I was like, I'm like, at that point, I was like, if it happens, it happens. Um, the flight to Montreal, I didn't, I should have known. Okay, so when I was thinking of Canada, I was like, oh, we're gonna go through the coast, like above like San Francisco, like above NorCal, right? Like I was thinking, because you could get to Canada through that way, like above Portland and whatever, Oregon. I thought it was that way, but it was like, no, it's Montreal, like on the east coast. So literally it was like a six-hour flight, and we were expecting like a two-hour flight, and then like looked and I was like, Oh, we're going to the other side of Canada. I'm like, and not this way. So whatever. And we were all like, fuck, like that was even worse.

Wait, you did it this whole time because you kept saying Montreal, Montreal, Montreal, and I was like, Oh, okay. The only reason I know that it's on the East Coast is because at work the Canada team, you go to Montreal, and it's the same as going to Boston.

Yes, dude. So I like, and afterwards I put that together because I was like, oh fuck, that makes sense. Like our Canada team is also on that side. And I'm like, oh my god. But in my the whole time, I was like, oh no, it's this way through, like above, you know, I was like, but yeah, anyways, that happened, and I was like, holy shit, now I know, like that just again, I already knew we were gonna miss a flight, but that was like, yeah, that did it. And then that point I was already kind of stressed, and I'm like, Whoa, it's a five-hour flight. I gotta like put earphones on, music, whatever. Um and okay, we get there. At this point, wait, time out. What time do we have this until? Well, an hour, 9:30. Let me hurry. Um so we get there, and then at this point, we're like, okay, fuck, we gotta run to like the um like the counter, the information booth. Run to the information booth. We're in Canada. They're speaking French. And they they they speak English, but like there were some that it was mainly French. We're like, oh fuck, I was like, I forgot you speak French.

Oh my god, I was like, I forgot they speak French. But we get there, whatever. At this point, I'm getting a shitload of texts, and I'm like, what is this? And it's the airline putting me in all of these different flights. This is your new itinerary, we have rebooked you, whatever. I look, I was like, that's boarding in 10 minutes. How am I supposed to run down there? Whatever. We get to the front, Jessica and Penelope are like trying to do their thing. They're like, hey, like, this was like, you know, this is unprofessional, whatever, like it wasn't our fault. We just missed our connecting flight. It's five of us. You need to rebook us on the same flight. Like, we have another connecting flight in Athens to Santorini. And then we were like, fuck, we're gonna probably miss that too, but we were optimistic at this point. We're like, we'll figure that one out after because at least that's a short one. We just need to get to like Athens, so whatever. They're they're going through, they're like, Well, all five of you guys can be booked on the same one, it's not gonna happen. And then we're like, Okay, and then she's like trying to can we were like, Can you just get us there around the same time or put us two and two together? And then she's like trying to figure out her thing. She gets Jessica and Penelope together in one, and then she's trying to get Karen and I together in one, and then she's like, Well, Melissa, actually, if you want to leave, you need to leave right now and because you're boarding in 10 minutes. And I looked at her and I said, Okay, but is my bag gonna get there? Like, what I'm like asking all of these questions. There was no way my bag was gonna be on that flight. I already knew and I I knew it. Whatever she's trying to get, I'm like, this is not our fault. Like, I was pissed, and then she's like, If you want to get to Athens, you need to. And at this point, I was like, dude, I'm gonna get my ass off, but whatever. I'm like, Alright, like if anything, they're like, Millie, you're the one that could travel alone.

So, okay, I fucking run to my flight, guys. At this point, I get there in time, they're just boarding. I look at my phone, I don't have my luggage on me. I look at my phone, it's almost dying. I had a well, I had a carry-on, but the problem is my adapter, my dumbass, the adapter was in the bottom. But like my for you know when you're traveling, the like the plugins, my adapter was at the bottom and the extra c like cable, but I and then I forgot my portable charger at home because it was charging in the thing. So whatever. I get there and I look at my phone, I was like, oh my god, it's gonna die, it's not gonna last me this fight. I get um a you I run to like get a USB and a portable charger. I was like, great, I'm perfect. But is it charged? Hold on. Oh, so I get it, I'm like, great, I'm perfect. I get on the flight. I got very lucky because I did get extra leg space, whatever. They're I they're like, you're gonna be in the emergency exit. I'm like, that's the least you could do. Put me in the emergency exit because I already I'm like, that's a 13-hour flight. But I was like, I'm now I'm alone, I'm pissed. It's a 13-hour flight, and I'm like, give me the fucking leg space, please. And then I get there, I sit next to a couple, they're super, super nice, and they could tell with stress, like at the and then the guy like turned around, he's like, Are you okay? I was like, I'm just very I'm having a hard time right now, please. Like, yeah, and then whatever. So I get on the flight, cool, and then I finally take out the charger, guys. I plug it in the USB because I bought it in Canada and I didn't think it was gonna be so different, it was not fit for our iPhone FY, if you ever do that. I was like, oh my god. So then I was like, how do I do this? What I did, I like flipped the cable from the the portable charger, had a USB and two UC U, what is it? USB USB Cs. USB C's. So I flipped the portable charger from like the chart the cable from the charger. I put it in the USB so then I can use the USB C and then it said. I was like, of course, I should have known because I just bought it. And I'm like, okay, whatever. And I look at my phone, it dies. I was like, oh my god, I don't have my luggage. I know I'm not gonna have it. This is I don't know where Karen's going, I don't know where the girls are going, like everything. And I'm like, and I at this point, I was like, where am I going? Because mind you, oh my god, I missed this out up front. From Canada, I was going to go to Venice, Italy now. From Venice, Italy, then I was going to go to Athens. So that was my stop point. And then the girls had to do from Canada to Germany, from Germany to Athens. Karen's fight was from Canada to like somewhere in like closer to Turkey. Yes, closer to Turkey, and like elsewhere. We were like, oh my god. And then afterwards, it ended up that she got the direct flight to Athens. We're like, great, but she had a long layover, but we're like, okay, whatever. But she great. She's going she doesn't have a connecting flight. Yeah. So I'm like, when I get to Venice, I have no charger. My portable, uh, I mean, my my adapter is in my luggage, but okay, hopefully, when I get my luggage, but in my head, I already knew I'm not gonna get my luggage. I was like, when I get my luggage, yeah. I had everything printed, they gave it to us, whatever. And then even like the luggage sticker. So we I get there, and then finally the guy sees that I'm like stressed looking at this, and I said, Okay, look, this is a situation, but I didn't tell him everything because I won. I don't want someone to know I'm alone, like whatever. And like we've seen taken the fuck. Exactly. I'm like, can I please borrow any of your cables? He takes out like all these cables, he's like, Yeah, this is so weird. It wasn't like fit to like I don't know what the situation was. Like the use USB C's from the US. Finally, there is one that worked from his beats. Thank you, beats. Um my phone's thank you, Dr. Dre. Exactly. My phone's charging, cool. At this point, I'm like, Alright, just let it go. Like, just fall asleep, watch a movie. We get to Venice, and I'm like, all right, cool. Get to Venice, my phone's at least charged. Guys, the moment I go down, and then I am waiting for my luggage, nothing, nothing, nothing. I'm like, fucking course. I'm like, I knew it. So then I'm calling the airline, whatever, and then I'm tracking my bag, and then it said that my bag was on the Montreal flight. I mean LAX to Montreal flight. It didn't get scanned again, and then finally, hours later, it got scanned in Montreal to go straight to Athens. And I was like, okay, so it's not coming here, which I kind of figured, but I I was so stressed out because now I'm like, oh my god, like my phone is still on low battery because we're on the plane and it was maybe now a 20%, but at least I had something I'm trying to figure out now where I'm going next, and I keep getting all of these texts because again, our flight now, the Venice flight to Athens was getting delayed because of weather. There was like a thunderstorm. I'm like, okay, as long as I have like all of my um uh boarding passes, right? So I'm at the airport, whatever, I'm waiting, and then it was like a I was supposed to a two-hour layover. At this point, I'm like, I don't have my luggage, it is what it is. I was so irritated. At that point, I wanted to cry, but I was like, okay, I'll just go, let me just catch this flight. And then I'm trying to figure out where the girls are. Obviously, they're all on different like flights and they're on air, so they don't they can't text anything. I was like, okay, cool. Hopefully they just made it and got on the flights. And then um, I'm waiting for the flight. I'm there hours, hours, hours, delay, delay. I was like, now I'm missing my other fucking flight to Athens. I was like, oh my god. And then at this point, everyone's pissed because there were so many of uh like there were two other couples from Air Canada in the same fight as me. So then everyone's like, Okay, now you're you keep telling us it's coming, it's coming. It wasn't coming. Okay, and then all yeah, eventually it came, they cancelled it, and now they put I get a notification. Now you're gonna be flying from Venice, Italy, to Serbia. And I said, Huh? And I'm like, okay, well now I'm going to Serbia, and then I whatever is it's like moving. I was like, Serbia, like what? And then in my I'm not good at geography and like all of this. In my head, I was like, where the fuck is Serbia? Literally, I'm like on the map going there. Yes, I'm like, where is Serbia where I have to go to Serbia, then come back down to Athens? And there was like all these questions. I get to Serb, and then okay, we get the flight, we get on a little like train. Guys, the moment I saw the airplane, oh my god, I was praying to God it was the smaller, like the smallest airplane with like those little like wings on the side. I mean not wings, but like the little things on the side. It was horrible. The flight there in the terminal. I thought that I was I was like, and now I'm gonna die because of the weather. It was so bumpy. We kept going up and down and up and down. I was like, oh my god. Whatever I finally get to I made it to Athens, okay? We make it to Athens. I get there. My luggage is still not there. My luggage is not in Athens. I was like, oh my god. At this point, miss my connecting flight, I might miss my flight from Athens to Santorini. I had already um re like rebooked it before that because we had already missed another one. I had to book another one because when I was looking at my um the tracking, I was like, okay, it's gonna get here at 7 a.m. I got to the airport at 1 a.m. So I slept in the airport. I was like, I'm not gonna lose this luggage. And then so I slept in the airport, and it was very interesting to just be there and sleep in the airport. And then finally my luggage gets there, and I'm like, all right, that's it, I made it. But all of that happened before that, and then I'm like looking for the like where the girls are, they're somewhere in Germany, they also missed another fight, this, that, so this was within like two days? Two days. Well, it was supposed to be like a 13-ish hour, like you know, well, yeah, like less than 24 hours, it took like two days.

Damn, but honestly, like what the girl said is so true. If anyone could travel solo, it's you because in those moments, yeah, you're stressed, but because you're like just fucking get me. Yeah, and I think you've you've traveled enough where you're like you already know what to do. I feel like I literally would have been like, get me on the fucking plane right now. Every time I'd be like, just get me on the fucking plane. Yeah, like and then but there is a moment.

And then I'd be like, mom, send me money because I gotta order all new shit because they lost my shit. And then that that's where like I was freaking out because I was like, oh my god, now they're gonna want it, like one, how am I gonna fucking two weeks, guys? Two weeks there, no luggage, no nothing. I'm gonna have to rebuy everything. Had already spent money on booking these damn flights. I disputed all those fucking transactions because I'm not paying for that. Yeah, what the fuck? I was like, what the hell? Because they were like, oh, we can't, that's not your other additional flights is not on us, it's only the what Air Canada does. I was like, no, but we're missing them because of this. So I disputed all of that. Good, but yeah, so finally get the luggage, and then at this point, Karen's at the Airbnb. And then um I love how she's the first one there. Yeah, she's the first one there, but then she doesn't have her luggage. The one that had to go directly there, guys, is the one that did not get her luggage, and it took her like four days. And literally, they had told her we're only gonna give you 40 euros per day. The dollar in Europe is shit right now. 40 euros per day is like a sock. I swear to god. I swear to god, like not even a tongue. It was like literally, she spent she spent 70 euros on a bra. Or like, I was like, imagine 40 euros a day and carries it herself. She's like, oh no, no, no, no, no.

It's like insane. But no, so yeah, all of that happened, and finally, but I'm telling you, there was a moment I said, I was gonna say, get me back to LEX, please. Like, I'm fucking I'm not doing that. I'm so glad you didn't, bitch, because I I know that would have been even worse. Yeah, I would have been on like it would have been bad, but yeah, we got there, whatever. Um, but yeah, guys, so that was like getting there. But we get there, we get to Athens, um, and then well, we get to Athens and fly from Athens to Santorini. So finally we get to Santorini. Airbnb was great. The like the um the weather was perfect, but all we wanted to do that day, we get there, we went to McDonald's. We go back, we're like, we just want to fucking sleep. I shower and sleep. We were so over it, like all of us. And then finally by the end, we're like, okay, we're here, like, we just have to make the best of it. Um, but it was Santorini was like super nice. We had the best time. Um, there there was like just the vibes, the the music, the food. Guys, the food was insane. Um, but just to like break it down, because there's still so much we need to talk about, but to break it down, we went from Noxos to Paros to Mikanos. Uh I mean sorry, Santorini, Noxos, Paros, Mikanos, and ended in Athens. I need to tell you guys about what happened in Noxos because of my little incident. Noxos or knuckles? That's no, I'm kidding. But um, we guys, we're at the beach club, right? The water is insane. We're I'm like looking and I was like, why are people with goggles in the shallow? But I was like, all right, whatever. Most of them are wearing goggles. There's no signs. Okay. We get in the water. I'm being a mermaid and I'm like swimming and doing all of these things, guys. There, I'm like going it again. The water is beautiful. As I'm swimming, there's a moment, you know, you have your hands in front of me, but in this moment, my hands were going outwards because I was moving along. The moment my hands went outwards, boom, I go straight into a fucking rock. A big ass rock. I said, who put the rock there? That is why people had goggles. That is why people had goggles, guys. I go straight into a rock. I get up and I'm like, oh my god, I probably like I put freaking open my forehead right now and I had glasses on. So I was like, oh my god, the glasses probably fucking indent into my nose. And then luckily, this literally ever since you said it earlier, you can see it. All I'm doing is staring at it. So, like, um, Jessica is there and was like, Thank God, like Jessica, I'm like, You're a doctor. Jessica, what do I do? And my open, she looks at it, she's like, You're fine, go get a drink and put ice on it. I was like, Okay, thank god. And then like it's going because I could feel it, it's like burning little by little. Gets bigger, gets bigger, gets bigger. I call my mom, I'm like, Ira, and before you say anything, it putasuke. I was like letting you know now because whatever. And so literally that night, I did not go out because guys, I I had the biggest headache. I felt so shitty, and I was like, oh no. But then by the next day, you know what I did? I bought a hat and I wore that fucking hat, and it worked out because the sun was not the one.

Yeah, so one like that is so not many one the strong the I mean the strong the heat was strong as fuck, so it worked out because I was like, okay, and we need like I need a hat, and then it worked out that it went with the outfit, it was cute, I was like, whatever. But that's why I had a hat on too. And then yeah, days went by and I started going down, and then by the third day, which luckily I got an aquifer from over there, I was putting it and it like healed it so good and it was starting to scrape, but right now it still looks like a scrape, it's just slowly. I'm like, oh my god, so now I just have to put like lotion on it.

So and but it was oh my god, the scrape, and there was like skin, it was like kind of bad. So I was like just taking care of it, washing it, and then I was like, How the fuck were you wearing makeup over that? No, I wasn't wearing makeup. No, and that's why I was nervous because uh we had like boat days and stuff, guys. I the moment I jumped into the water, I was like, it's gonna burn. It luckily it didn't, it helped, but my sunscreen, I was like, I need to put some block, and yeah, but that happened, and then we had um, yeah, guys, most of the days were consistent, like just like you know, beach, food, water. I mean, we beach, um, food, like going out, having a good time, and then um, I want to talk about Athens because, dude, the Mexico game, it's a Mexico game, um, World Cup game one. We're in Athens, it's like 10 p.m. over there, guys. I mean, we already know this, but us Mexicans are everywhere. Athens, Greece has a whole community of just Mexicans moving from specifically L DF.
