Acidic Soil Loving Plants of the Appalachian Mountains PART 2

In Episode #55 of Season #4, I will discuss some acid loving plants.  Specifically, acidic soil loving plants such as some trillium plants (4), some ferns (2) and some blueberry plants (2).  

Plants such as these grow in and around the Appalachian Mountains, the Appalachian Foothills to the mountains and some call it the Appalachian Plateau.

One of my hobbies is to hike and near me is the Red River Gorge Geological Area.  I love hiking in this area but I do a tiny bit of hiking in Georgia, Berea, KY, and in the Smoky Mountains.  You will see these plants in many of these areas if there is an acidic soil to sustain the plants.
