Christopher Browning discusses democracy and climate change

Christopher Browning is the the Frank Graham Professor of  History Emeritus from the the University of North Carolina who recently wrote an essay in the New York Review of Books entitled "Suffocation of Democracy". 
It was in that essay that he discussed the Trump presidency and said that within several decades after the Trump dynamic the looming effects of ecological disaster due to human-induced climate change will be inescapable - "No wall will be high enough to shelter the US from these event," Browning wrote.
