WOW: Women of Wisdom
W.O.W. (Women of Wisdom) is a Bible study for women, sponsored by The Shepherd's Church in Cary, NC. This Bible study, taught by women of The Shepherd's Church & guest speakers from The Shepherd's Seminary, aims to lead women to Biblical Truths to grow in their relationship with God through His Word. Each week has daily lessons for personal study, followed by "iron sharpening iron" in small group discussions and finishes with a lecture that seeks to apply Biblical truths to our daily lives.

John 1:19-51
- It was never about John the Baptist (John 1:19-28)
(Luke 3:15: 1 Kings 1:8; Matt 3:4; Mal 4:5; Deut 18:15, 18; Isa 40:3; Mark 1:4-5)
- Our testimony should always point others to Christ, not ourselves.

2. It was always about the Lamb (John 1:29-34)
(Gen 22:7; Ex 29:38-42; Heb 9:26; Ex 12; Isa 53:7; Luke 1:36; 2 Pet 1:16; Matt 3:13-17; Mark 1:9-11; Luke 3:21-22; 2 Sam 7:12-13)
- The Lamb of God took away your sin yesterday, today and forever!
- Jesus is the Son of God and God the Son!
3. It’s time to “Come and see” (John 1:35-51)
(Luke 19:10; Gen 25, 27, 30; Gen 28:12; Rev 5:12; Heb 4:12)
- Jesus’s invitation of come and see is always open and available to everyone!
- Insight doesn’t produce obedience. Obedience produces insight.
Final Questions to Consider Today:
- What is your response to the Lamb of God?
- Who is He to you? Is your response “Worthy is the Lamb?”
- What is your response to Jesus’s question, “What are you seeking?”
- God already knows, but He wants you to talk to Him about it.
- Our relationship with God is a dialogue, not a monologue.
- What is your response to Jesus’s invitation to “Come and see?”
- Have you accepted His invitation to be a child of God?
- Have you accepted but gotten a little sidetracked?
- Have you accepted and needed the reminder to come and see daily?
- How will you share with others to “Come and see” who Jesus is?
