Noted baby care experts Adam and Jeff weigh in on the Kyte Baby controversy in which an employee with a 22-week-old baby in NICU sought to work remotely in order to care for her baby but was told that her services would no longer be needed by the CEO.  The CEO offered two apologies on Tik Tok after news of the firing went viral and, in the process, managed to anger mothers of young children throughout the country who called for a boycott of the company's products.  Adam and Jeff point out that consumer boycotts have become powerful weapons that disaffected consumers can use to change corporate policies as shown by the Bud Lite fiasco in which a transgender individual was hired as a spokesperson to market Bud Lite to a younger, hipper audience that indulges in wine spritzers and hard ciders.  In short, Bud Lite essentially ignored its traditional older blue collar consumers.  This ham-fisted marketing approach also prompted a nationwide boycott and forced Bud Lite to cancel its marketing program altogether after the value of the parent company dropped by some $40 billion.   Instead Bud Lite hurriedly roll out ads featuring lots of men carrying guns and driving fast cars (none of whom was shown taking a bubble bath while drinking a beer), prompting Adam and Jeff to volunteer to advise any company (for a hefty fee) about any future marketing campaigns beforehand so these companies can avoid shooting themselves in the foot.
