Dr. Belinda Bellet is a psychologist certified in the modality of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.  She primarily works with families of children with behavioral concerns, and suicidal tendencies at her group practice Brooklyn Heights Behavioral Associates, in New York City. In her experience, families with the most success are those where the children and the parents are equally motivated and willing to balance "acceptance" and "change".
