Guys, thank you for listening to the show Every single day. You guys probably figured out by now. I will bring you little tips and tricks that you can start to apply into your daily lives so that you can ultimately start living a free life and living it on your own terms, just like the intro song says living life on your own terms. Just like the intro song says living life on your own terms. That is what I am all about, and I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for listening to this show.

Speaker 1:

I have been getting a lot of really good feedback from it. We're almost a month in and so, before we dive into it, all I ask is that you guys share the show with at least one person. Guys, if you guys have been listening to this show every day, you're probably getting sick of my voice, but I appreciate you listening anyway. But I really, in all seriousness, I really would like to get the show out to more people, because I believe that everything that I do put out will benefit your life, someone else's life. You just never know, man. There could be one little thing that can change the trajectory of someone's entire life, and you may be the person that's responsible from letting that happen to someone else. Or you could be that person that advocate that sends them this show and maybe they get something from it that sends them on a completely new journey to a new life. So, guys, today's topic is this is one of my all-time favorite things that has been put into my brain that I just continue to practice every single day, and it's something that everybody really should work harder at practicing.

Speaker 1:

I know it's really hard, but I'm just going to say this your worst case scenario really is not that bad, and I heard this a few years ago and it really is the truth. Like, no matter what situation you're in, no matter what you're going through in your life right now, chances are that there's probably someone that's going through something worse than you are. And you know I'm not going to dog on it and say that you know times don't get hard, but just remember, like when you're going through it, like when you really feel like you have nothing going for you in your life. Take a look around like chances are you'd be able to see it. You know, like there's been days on my way home where you know something didn't go right. Or you know I had a had an appointment fall through. Or you know just people that I've been working with like it's just not going the way that I'm, that I'm wishing it would, and as I'm driving home I catch myself doing that all the time, where it's just like man, like it really couldn't get any worse. And then you pass a homeless guy and then I think to myself all the time you know what? Yeah, it could. You know, even though my day did not go as planned, even though I didn't get the things done that I wanted to, even though whatever fell out of contract, or you know, this sales call didn't go the way that I wanted it to, it could be worse. It could be worse.

Speaker 1:

You guys, I was fortunate. Like when I was 18 years old, I got to spend a lot of time Well, it was two years down in South America and I saw some pretty bad situations. There's a lot of poverty down there. I think when I was in Paraguay, it was the first or second poorest country in South America. So you guys can imagine some of the living situations that I, that I saw, and it was.

Speaker 1:

It was difficult to see that on a daily basis, but especially with kids. Man, like that, ah, like it it's still like just pulls strings on my heart, like to see what some of these kids have to have to go through on a daily basis. Like they. They don't have the commodities that we do nowadays and you know, I think we just really take for granted the fact that you know most of us like we live in a comfortable home, you know we're not super worried about where our next meal is going to come from, but there are people out there like it is a daily grind just to get bread. You know, I remember praying with people down there and they would always like they were so grateful for for the little food they had. They were so grateful for, you know, being able to to buy juice for their family to um, to drink, or or maybe it was a soda instead of just drinking water, just to give you guys a perspective like I was able to see firsthand. You know, people living in shacks, people living under garbage sacks, and that is I mean we live in a century where I don't feel like anybody should have to live like that. So that's what.

Speaker 1:

Those are the things that I think about whenever I feel like I'm having a bad day and just things couldn't get any worse. I immediately just try and switch my brain to start naming off things that I'm actually grateful for and I tell myself, justin, like this situation is not bad. Your worst case scenario is not that bad. So if you guys are stuck at a job where you just feel like you're at a dead end, you know you're not getting a promotion or you know you're not making more money, it could be worse. It could be worse. So start telling that. Start telling yourself that you know, whenever you're having a bad day, like you know what yes, this sucks, could be worse. Someone's having a worse day than me.

Speaker 1:

Guys, you can either focus on the negative of everything that's going around you or you can look for the positive in things, and I think that's kind of a cliche thing to say like, oh, just be more positive, look for the positive things in life. That's hard, trust me, I know, like I gosh, like I've been going through some stuff right now, like it is hard to find the positivity in some things. But the positive things are there if you're willing to look for them and if you're willing to start being grateful for the circumstances that you are in. So maybe just take a little bit of a step back and realize, like you know, what my life could be worse. Maybe I do need to be more grateful for, you know, the job that is paying me a little bit more than minimum wage. Maybe I should be grateful for, you know, having a car, even though it breaks down on me all the time.

Speaker 1:

Guys, the struggle is real. Guys, the struggle is real there. There's struggles out there 24 seven that you are going to have to go out and conquer every single day. So I want you guys to remember that I'm going to say it again your worst case scenario isn't that bad. I want you to freaking in brain, or I want you to tattoo that one on your brain so you never forget it. Ever forget it, because it's the truth and until the day you die, it can't. It's not going to be that bad. You will get through it, I promise. As long as you keep thinking positively, as long as you stay grateful, you will get through whatever it is that you're going through right now.

Speaker 1:

So remember that, whatever situation it is, you just got to make the best of it. Guys, that's what it comes down to. That's what we need in this, in this country, right now, like we need to make better situations of where we're at. So stop blaming others, take responsibility and realize I am okay, you are okay, you can keep going. All you have to do is just go out there and do it, that's it. So, guys, think about that. Share this with someone. If you don't share it with someone, I'm gonna I'm gonna hunt you down until you do, because it's important stuff. That's all I have for you today, guys. We'll chat with you tomorrow. Thank you once again for tuning into the freedom first podcast. Share the show, subscribe to the show and we'll chat with you tomorrow.
