What's up, guys? Welcome back to the Freedom First podcast. This is Justin Arrington, back on the mic with another episode. Thank you all for tuning in once again today. Guys, before we dive into it, all I ask is that if you get any value from the show whatsoever, that you share it with at least one person. Share it with others on your social media. Maybe you need to text it over to someone, whoever that may be. That's all I ask. This is episode number 40. So we have 40 days or 40 episodes that we that I've recorded. That, um, you know, is honestly just there for you guys to go and and dive deep into. If you want to take notes, go ahead.

Speaker 1:

Um, but I feel like everything that I talked about on this show has some sort, could have some sort of effect on your life for the better. That's the whole reason that I do this. My goal is to make sure that everybody is out there living their absolute dream life and if I can provide you a little tip or trick here every now and then to to help you along in your journey, that's great. That's a win for me and I'm super excited and I'm glad to do this show. It's a it's a grind for me to release an episode every single day. You know, I got a lot going on in my life and, um, you know I I don't have to do it, but it's something that I want to do. And, um, I was thinking about that the other day. Like you know what, I really don't even care if there's people that listen to this show. Like, if anything, I'm just going to have all of these episodes that I'll be able to pass on to my kids someday and, um, you know that that alone is worth it, worth it to me, um, but if it helps some of you guys along the way, even better. So, guys, we, uh, we talked about being a winner yesterday, uh, versus a loser. That was a. That was an awesome episode. If you guys have not listened to that one, um, I highly suggest you go back and listen to that uh episode from yesterday.

Speaker 1:

But today we're going to be talking about sales and before you, before you turn the show off and say, oh, I don't want to learn about sales, or you know I'm not in sales, so this episode is not going to apply to me, I promise you just hang tight with me for a minute, it'll all come full circle and you will realize you are a salesman, even if you think that you're not. And so so why do I think that it's important for everyone to learn sales? One? Because I believe that sales is where you can make the most money. You know, I think that's actually a fact You'll have to go ahead and like Google, that or something, but sales there's a ton of money in sales, you know, whether that's door-to-door sales, whether it's tech sales, whether it's any type of sales, there's money to be made, and so that that's actually what pushed me to get into sales.

Speaker 1:

When I did, you know, I just started my own family and I figured you know what? There's no better way to make a living than than through sales. And a lot of you guys might shy away from that because most of the time with sales, there's there's a lot of commission based jobs out there, and that's just where most of the money is made. But, guys, if you can learn how to sell sorry, if you can learn how to sell like, you're not going to have to worry about making money for the rest of your life. Like sales is a skill. It's something that needs to be perfected, it's something that needs to be practiced, and the best way to do that is to actually get out there and start selling. And if you have a product or you have something that you highly highly believe in, it's going to be a heck of a lot easier for you to go out and sell that versus you know. Ah, you know, I think this product's pretty cool and maybe I'll just throw it out there to see you know how how the market reacts.

Speaker 1:

Guys, like, some things are just not made for you, and you know, selling that particular item might come to you super easy or it might be very difficult. And if it's difficult, it's most likely because you don't 100% believe in the product or you know you have some issues with it. But if it, you know, just flows right out of your mouth and it's super easy, chances are, like, you love that product and it's going to be very, very easy for you to sell somebody else on that product. Um, you know, I have a. I have a white monster in front of me. Uh, right now, like it'd be pretty easy for somebody to sell me this white monster. One, because I'm familiar with it, and two, I know it's good and it may not be the best for me, but it's, it's good, I like it and I feel like this is a drink that I'd be able to sell to somebody else fairly easily. One, because I'm a consumer of it too. I enjoy it and that's all there is to it. Like that, that sells in a nutshell.

Speaker 1:

But for all of you guys out there that are saying, like you know what, I'm not in sales, so this doesn't even apply to me, justin, what are you even talking about? You are in sales, no matter how much you think you're not, you are, um, you know, like you're. You're selling yourself to your family every single day. You're selling yourself on your employees, maybe your employer? Um, you know, let's go down that route for a second. You know, if you guys have a boss, like every day that you show up to work, you have to sell to that person, showing them that you know what I provide enough value to be here. So you have to sell yourself. You know, if you're out in the dating world, you have to sell yourself to whoever it is that you're asking out. They're not just going to. You know, take you for you, like you have to. You have to sell them and show them. You know this is who I am. This is what I can do.

Speaker 1:

Um, you know to your spouse, like I, I try to sell myself on my, on my wife, every single day that I can. Um, you know, we we just had our third, third baby boy the other day and you know, now it's time for me to to step up a little bit and, you know, maybe do some more chores around the house while she's recovering, while baby's you know, getting used to this crazy world that we live in, but that's just little things that I'm doing to like sell myself, to keep her interested, and even to my kids, like spending time with them. You're investing into them. You're selling to your kids, saying you know what? I'm a rad dad, I can do all these cool things with you and that's a selling point for them and they're going to want to spend more time with you. So does that make sense? Like there's so many opportunities that you're not only selling yourself but you're putting yourself out there to. You know, get people to like you and, and there's nothing wrong with that and um, I, I mean, I was never taught that growing up. Like that's just something that I figured out, you know, on my own, through through personal development and just honestly through through my life's experiences. So every day you're selling yourself and even though it may not apply to you at your job, at least you don't think it is. It is, I promise. If you guys have employees sorry, but you're going to have to sell yourself to your employees. You're going to have to sell them the dream of what it is that you're trying to build and hope that you know they latch onto that they have that same vision and they'll go to the moon with you.

Speaker 1:

So, guys, if you're sleeping on sales, I suggest that you really start diving deep on how you can better your communication skills and better putting yourself out there. And maybe it's a product that you're selling. Go out and be the best salesman of that product that you possibly can. Maybe you're in sales, door-to-door sales, selling solar or pest control or something like that. Maybe you're a life insurance salesman. Maybe, gosh, I don't know. Maybe you're a roofing, a roof roofer. You know that there's so many different. Every industry has sales. Everything that you do has sales. So I want you guys to not shy away from that. Like everybody just has this bad stigma on sales and the you know everybody thinks that everyone's a greasy salesman whenever they're trying to sell you something. But you know, the fact is, if they believe in it, they're just trying to make your life better and if you're showing any sort of interest, yeah, they're going to sell you. You know, there's nothing wrong with that. So, guys, get familiar with sales Because, like I said in the beginning, the second that you master sales is the moment in your life that you will not have to worry about money again, because that is a skill far better than any other skill that I can think of right now, because it applies to such a wide spectrum of things.

Speaker 1:

So, go out and master sales. Go learn how to communicate with people. That's all it is. Sales is just communicating with other people and getting them to believe in you and in your product or in yourself or whatever. So don't shy away from sales, because that is where you will be able to not only make more money, but you'll be able to make a ton of really awesome connections. You'll be able to grow a better relationship with your family, with your friends, anybody that you come in contact with.

Speaker 1:

Sales is the key. Communication is the key to achieving that success.
