45. Give Yourself Permission to Win
What if the only thing standing between you and your dreams is your own permission? On this episode of the Freedom First Podcast, I break down the critical concept of giving yourself the green light to win in life. Forget waiting for the perfect moment or the ideal circumstances; those will never come. From my own experiences in the gym to the challenges of building a business and maintaining relationships, I illustrate how the decision to push through discomfort and inconvenience is the foundation of true growth and success.
You'll hear why the moment you decide to embrace the struggle is the moment you start creating the life you desire. I discuss the sacrifices that are necessary—like waking up at dawn for that workout—and how these sacrifices are investments in your future. Whether you're working on your fitness, building your dream business, or striving for better relationships, this episode is a call to action. It's time to stop making excuses and start giving yourself permission to win. Share this episode with anyone who needs that extra push to start winning their battles.

Welcome back to the Freedom First Podcast. This is episode number 45. Thank you all for tuning in to the episode today. Guys, if this is the first time that you have found the Freedom First podcast, this is a show where I talk about personal development. I talk about things that you can start implementing today that will not only make you a better human being, but will eventually lead you to a life of freedom and a life that you can live on your own terms. That's my whole. Purpose of this show is just to provide you guys little tips and tricks every single day so that you can eventually win in life. And all that I ask in return is just that you guys share the show. Share it with as many people as you possibly can, and I would deeply deeply appreciate it. That's the only way that I can grow. This show is with the support of you guys.
Speaker 1:So, with that said, today we're going to be talking about winning and why you have to give yourself permission to win. Now, it's easy. It's easier said than done to you know, go out and actually win. Um, it's easier to say you know I'm going to win, I'm going to win, but then, once you know, it comes time to actually put in the work. That's when it gets hard and that's when you really got to figure out you know what it, what it is that you're going to do to start dominating whatever it is that you're going after. One of the when I think about winning, I love to think about my fitness and I love thinking about going to the gym and why. That's just a. It's a battleground for me to go to every day where I can really start to push myself. I can push myself to become better. I can push myself to be stronger and in order to do that like, I have to give myself permission to hurt, and even though the pain and hurting it's not something that anybody wants to go through ever, but that's where the growth, that's where the growth happens. So that's that's why I talk about.
Speaker 1:You know you have to give yourself the permission to do that. You know if you want to go out and build a business, if you want to go out and you know better your relationship you're going to have to give yourself permission. You're going to have to realize. You know what this is going to be hard, but I know deep down that I can do it. I know this is what I'm supposed to do. I'm going to put it out there, I'm going to go for it, that's it. That's it you. All you have to do is just put your mind to it and go for it. Don't give yourself an out, don't, don't tell yourself yeah, you know what, maybe it just wasn't for me, it was for you. If you, if you really, if you really feel like you want it and you want it bad enough, it's for you and all you have to do is give yourself permission to do that.
Speaker 1:Now, yes, you may have a spouse that maybe you feel like doesn't support you. Maybe you have kids and you just think that, well, if I work on this, I'm not going to be able to spend time with them, and all these things are going to pop up. No matter what, what time of your life it's at, something is always going to pop up. No matter what time of your life it's at, something is always going to pop up and you're going to feel like you know what, maybe just now is not the right time, but maybe it is. You have to decide that for yourself. It's never, ever going to be convenient to start something hard. There's never going to be a convenient time to get up early and go to the gym.
Speaker 1:I'll tell you one thing, like firsthand I go to the gym early in the mornings and I would much rather be in my bed sleeping. That's it. That's it. You guys have to be willing to put in the work, like there's going to be sacrifices, but if you want it deep like, if you want it enough deep down inside you, you're going to have to tell yourself I can do this. I'm going to give myself permission to win, and the second that you do that is the second you will be able to start moving forward with your life and building the life that you absolutely dream of. It's that simple. So go out and make it happen. Guys, I think this is a record for the shortest podcast that I've ever done, but that's all I have for you today. Go out and give yourself permission to win and win big, no matter what it is that you're wanting to do. Win big. Thanks, guys, and we'll talk to you tomorrow.
