Fine artist and career art curator Karen Gutfreund has organized over 40 art shows in social justice themes with a special emphasis in feminist art shows, exploring the latter to the depth of 25 different feminist themes. She most recently curated the feminist art show "Agency," at the Sonoma County Museum of Art in Santa Rosa. In this discussion Karen talks about art with impact, activism, advocacy for marginalized artists, how to engage with art, and a step-wise and how-to process of mounting a show in support of your local cause!
