"Building a Legacy: Leaving Your Mark on the Tiling Industry"

Frank’s career in tiling and waterproofing began as a tiling apprentice over 30 years ago.

He’s gained invaluable experience in most industry sectors, including installing wall and floor tiles and waterproofing membranes. Later, supplying tiles, adhesives and membranes to builders and contractors and then developed chemical formulations of tile adhesives and membranes for an adhesive manufacturer.

Since then, Frank progressed into a consulting role for tiling and waterproofing, providing defects assessments and repair solutions for tiling and waterproofing defects and providing proactive defect prevention solutions for new construction.

He regularly provides expert witness reports for the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC), the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal and the Magistrates Court on tiling and waterproofing related matters.

Following his appointment as MD of the Australian Master Tilers Association, Frank was engaged by the Queensland Building and Construction Commission to present contractor education seminars on Tiling and Waterproofing.
