SPEAKER_04

I think this is gonna be 181, baby.

SPEAKER_06

181. Damn going back through all of those and finding some clips and throwing up, and you know, that's you know, I thought that was it. The the the clip that I put up of our uh of our interview last week was hilarious. It was hilarious. It was so go on to the Instagram and look for DGDR podcast. Yeah, check it out.

SPEAKER_03

And you should find us we're about to hit our anniversary. About to finish up season four and head into season five. Five years. What? Yeah, that's crazy. End of August? Yep. End of August? Like the 22nd or something like that, somewhere in there. I I'll double check, but yeah. Coming up here, I think that's right because I had COVID. Yep. Oops. I had the COVID. Yeah, insane. Yep, yeah. And same. It's crazy.

SPEAKER_06

But uh long, long time. Oh, dude. High boy. We are we are high energy today.

SPEAKER_07

You have it.

SPEAKER_06

You get into VR and get rid of your brake markers. Yep. You'll you don't need the flashing break. You're way too fast to have that flashing brake grid. You just get into it, get into VR, you will be faster. Yep, you'll be flying.

SPEAKER_03

So yeah, shout out to him donating to the show. Um check out the uh donation links down below. Support the show and the PBXM shop if you want to check out some merch that also helps the show. SPEAKER_06

That's another thank you to Joe, too. Yeah, it's another thank you to Joe. He felt bad being such a long such a long podcast last week. He threw more money at us than I'll pay for it.

SPEAKER_03

Thanks, Joe. We appreciate you, buddy. And well and also the newest member of the team, dude. Old PK Sniper.

SPEAKER_06

Yep.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. He's been a PDX PK Sniper. Yeah. Racing chatting. So yeah, that's been fun. Yeah. So welcome. Feedback. Yeah. Yeah. Good.

SPEAKER_06

VR Mafia member. Dude, doing a yeah, VR Mafia member. He was doing his own S7R practice lobbies just by himself because you know he's three hours ahead of us, so he couldn't hop into ours all the time. Just so he could go in and go, hey, this is what I'd experienced in my lobby. That's that's awesome.

SPEAKER_04

Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_06

That is awesome, John. Rolling jumping in. PDX rolling jumping in and helping with practice and realizing that that was the wrong race for him to hop in for practice. I think it's like it it is. Boy, I will say this, Hovercraft. You were an evil person. You were an evil, evil man. Evil genius. Yeah. Yeah, that is that is true.

SPEAKER_05

That race. So gosh. To come up with the combinations and the the settings and level, like it was like it put you right on the edge. Like I, if you've watched about, I had literally no tires left. And like I'm trying not to fly into the walls, like just bringing the goddamn car home. It was it was insane. Like, yeah, it was great, great job.

SPEAKER_06

So uh if anybody is first time listening, what's the what's the name of the series? Uh oh, what's the official uh the official name?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, that's that's the official yeah and it is insane.

SPEAKER_06

It is absolutely practicing for it. I only got to practice three nights this last week because I had special things to do the rest of the week. Oh my gosh. It was exhausting. It was so exhausting. It was at one of the Tokyo, which Tokyo track?

SPEAKER_05

Tokyo uh Expressway Central Counterclockwise.

SPEAKER_06

I will say this. It was a ton of fun. Oh yeah. It was frustrating, it was infuriating, but at the same time, the flow of that track was so much fun.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, super.

SPEAKER_06

Like once you got it, once you got it, and you just, you know, the last practice we did on Wednesday, I got it. Like it clicked in my head, and I just took off. Just took off and save them, save them tires, save that fuel. Combination of both. But I ran out of my my first stint, I ran out of fuel at the last corner and limped in. Like that's how far I pushed the fuel, limped in, changed, and then ended up, I think I ended up with a lap and a half of fuel at the end. Yep. And that was that was because of tire saving through the through the hard hard tire middle uh middle stint.

SPEAKER_03

And that's what I did last night. I saved uh lap and a half of fuel at the end. You did amazing. You did so that that helped me because that that clicked. I was like, okay, Jimbo did this during this stint. We just gotta keep it consistent.

SPEAKER_06

And it was just right, keep it consistent and not ruining those tires, which was very difficult there. Oh, yeah. Very and it didn't matter which tire you were on, you were on the edge of ruining them at every lap. Like once you're gonna be able to do it.

SPEAKER_07

What was fuel on tire? Four times fuel on fire.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, nine times tire, four times fuel. High fuel wasn't bad. I just I kept killing my tires too much, making little mistakes into the high pressure corners for the tire wear, and it just kind of burnt them out too much. But uh yeah. Yeah, good job.

SPEAKER_07

That's off to shred.

SPEAKER_05

Good dominant.

SPEAKER_06

Just crazy fast. Crazy fast. He went by like 30, 30, 34 seconds.

SPEAKER_03

35. Yeah. Yeah. And he was saving fuel. He wasn't running. And it was crazy because his times, he just, yeah, that open, clean air really helped.

SPEAKER_06

Huge. Huge open. Well, when we were practicing this last week, you would notice that because it was like you make a little mistake, or you know, you don't make a mistake, but the driver behind you is close enough, and you hit one of the straightaways, and they would just fly past you. Yeah. And then you would have to hold in behind, and I would lose, oh, a second, a second and a half to get to get back to to set the to you know, set up for a pass somewhere. But that boy, that dirty air and those close walls. Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, it was. It's pretty scary. One heck of a combo.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, it's great combo.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, loved it. Yeah. In the end, yes. Loved, loved, loved. Well, let's just be honest. The Red Bull Juniors are a blast to drive. They are. They are forgiving. They're they're they're not gonna kill you like the the full Red Bull uh cars are. They'll still try to kill you, but just not quite as much. You you can really focus on driving. It's a driver's car. It is. It really is a driver's car. You know, it's not trying to figure out, okay, down force and acceleration. It's a driver's car. It's more of getting up to and getting momentum. It's all about momentum in that car. And uh, and getting into the getting into the uh zone and just driving the car. Yep. Get into that flow state. Well, what was it? It I think we we all commented when we did Suzuka practice, let the car do the work, and you don't have to worry at all. And it's true. You let that car do the work, and it just it drives, it drives fast too. So no, that was that was a ton of fun. And I went back, I had stuff to do yesterday evening, and I went back and watched the race, and man, it was an exciting race. All those cars were beaten up by the end. There wasn't one person, uh including Shred that didn't hit the wall. Yep, everyone everyone hit the wall. Yep. It was just how hard you hit the wall. Now, yeah, um, where did you guys where did you guys start when I die? Uh I qualified sixth, I believe.

SPEAKER_03

Yep, and I was an eighth. Yeah, six five. Oh, that's right, John. That's right. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. I shit the bed and quality. I got caught up on my hot my final hot lap. I got caught up, I forgot by who. And um I had a purple first sector and then got caught up, and then yeah, just lost and just fell down the field to eighth. That's where I started. Unfortunately.

SPEAKER_06

But Shred was a 109? Yeah, 1099.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Which was two seconds faster than anything I could do in practice. Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

I was able to get uh I was able to get tens in practice, but I I just my pace just wasn't there in the race. I was a little slower overall.

SPEAKER_03

I know it sucked because yeah, during that warm-up in the lobby, I was able to hit a 10-4. So I was like, I spent all my juice in that, and I should have saved it. Yeah. Because yeah, I only had 11.6 or 11.7.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, big time.

SPEAKER_03

Pretty big time, buddy. It wasn't good. But uh yeah, was able to make it out in the end, though. So that was good.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, so yeah, I mean Sean was the truth.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, no, he messed up his fuel.

SPEAKER_03

Truth messed up his fuel. Um came in early, smoked his soft, yeah, smoked his soft. He had to get fuel. And uh yeah, I was able to keep that that last couple laps with him and Philmora.

SPEAKER_02

Woo!

SPEAKER_03

That was a deal. That was fun though. They were going at it, and then I was able to slip by in that one spot past truth, and then got uh Philmora coming out of the tunnel. Yeah, and then once I was able to get away out of that mess, then I was just fucking hit your marks and don't don't mess this up.

SPEAKER_06

Use that clear air. Oh yes. You know, clean air.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, you were able to just work. Most of my race I had clean air for the most part, so that was the nice part. Yeah, there's some back markers here and there, but it worked out pretty good for you. So Yeah, it worked out.

SPEAKER_06

Again, uh again, huh. If if regular lobbies could be as clean as that, the race number one, I would be racing every day. You know, if the lobbies race that clean, I would be racing almost every day, but that's the reason I don't race.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, I did uh a couple Catalunia races from the back. Jesus. I mean, I was still able to get one race, I got a five-second penalty. I turned into me, and I got the five-second fucking penalty. Um and then the second race, I started 16th and third. But yeah, there's there's some some dirty drive. I got your two cars, like a lot of guys can't handle the high-down force cars and people don't like being in past and shit like that. Um it's unfortunate, but um, I wish it would have been. Yeah, it was so good. So you can either put on lap like seven. Um ideally you could be fast to go eight and then switch to the sauce and everything. But um yeah, racing from the back that there's there's some I don't dirty shenanigans.

SPEAKER_06

The mindset of I don't want to get past. Well, I don't want to get past either, and I will work hard to not get past, but I am then not gonna run the guy off the road because he's passing me. Right. Or or smash into the back of him at the next sharp turn because he got past me and I know I'm not fast enough to. That's ridiculous. It's ridiculous. And I understand that that I would say, you know, the majority of people that listen to our podcast are not those type of people. Well, I would hope that they're not, you know, because it's wrong. Yeah, they're wrong. That's that's just bad. And like the fact that there's no real repercussions for for anybody. We could talk about this all day long. PD's not going to change anything until something forces them into it. Nope.

SPEAKER_04

Well, lawyer Dave had to be a good thing.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, like maybe getting a new uh who?

SPEAKER_03

Lawyer Dave. Dave the lawyer, sorry, Florida. Yeah, he grinded and he's um jumped up in the rankings big time. I think he said like 1962 test. Yeah. Yeah. So he races though at like four in the morning.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, that's what he was saying.

SPEAKER_03

Four to like seven or something. So yeah, he had good luck with it grinding. So good job, Dave.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, I mean, I ideally with that race you want to put in a good qualifying time. Uh racing from the back. Yeah, fine. Again, there's some some bad, dirty driving. But it does kind of make it a little more interesting. But at the same time, you're just scratching your head, like, why are you guys doing this? Yeah. Like, why why are you driving like that and doing this? It it's it's mind-boggling. But if you can get through it, uh it's rewarding, and I was uh lucky enough to to do so.

SPEAKER_01

So that is.

SPEAKER_05

He is pretty pretty pretty fast, yeah.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, when when you've got like 300 plus thousand miles in the game, uh yeah. Yeah. Putting in that work. Jesus. And you'll get the results. Right? Yeah. Yeah, he he he grinds, man. He is a grind. Like you said, he he's got he's got like three hours in the morning. And uh he takes full advantage of it. Yes, he does. God damn.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, I wish I could. Right.

SPEAKER_03

But like uh that discipline. I go to bed too late.

SPEAKER_07

He wakes up at like 5 30 and he's on the rig from like six to eight in the morning, and then he's back on the central time, back on at like six or six p.m. at night in the UK and races too late, so he he does.

SPEAKER_03

He goes to bed at like nine then.

SPEAKER_07

Nine, nine thirty, he's gotta he's gotta be asleep by time because he's uh he he's up at five thirty and on the ring and pretty much every day. Yeah. Every day.

SPEAKER_05

If you're doing that kind of much, like doing it streaming, working, streaming, yeah. You're you're you're pretty say disciplined enough that you're probably going to bed because you're worn the fuck out. You just get pro say program into that schedule and it it works.

SPEAKER_07

It does. For him, it does. It is pretty much automatic every time you see that guy on. So yeah, because there's times I'm going to bed at 11, 11:30, and he's he's you know getting on at fucking six in the morning. Damn, dude. That's just the last thing when I'm waking up like within a half hour now thinking, like, oh, I want to jump on my swim rig. Like, I'm still fucking sipping myself.

SPEAKER_05

Rubbing my eyes and trying to live. Yeah, it's not a fucking option in priority at all. So I think that could be an age thing.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, I guess. I don't know how old Dave the lawyer is. You know, he's I think around our age. Yeah, he's around our age. Scotty might be in his late 30s and shit like that, but uh yeah, that's the last thing I'm thinking.

SPEAKER_06

Well, I can tell you there's a difference between late 30s and almost 50. Oh.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

That's like you you wouldn't think it, but it's light years. Ten years is a light year in when it comes to age. It's crazy. It's wild. You know. But I mean, uh I I wanted to do races this week, but we had practice and other things going on. You know, and I can tell you right now, racing with the people we race with, they keep you honest.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Because but at the start, on boy, on Monday morning, I or on Monday evening when I hopped on, I was oh, four seconds off the pace.

SPEAKER_03

Yep, but then you know down real quick.

SPEAKER_06

Got closer, got closer by the end of by the end of Monday night, but and then Tuesday doing rain practice. Oh, yeah. Woof.

SPEAKER_03

Glad we didn't shit.

SPEAKER_06

Glad we did, but at the same time it was it was like having slicks on ice. That that track does not have any grip at all, no matter what tire you're on. So I mean it was wild. It was wild. And it took it, I think actually, I think rain practice helped me with Wednesday practice. Right. Honestly. Because I felt like I was completely in control of that car.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, sometimes that stuff helps.

SPEAKER_06

Dude, the ping pong physics where you graze the inside apex of a corner and it just shoots you. Shoots you across the track into the other side. I mean I can understand you hit the wall pretty hard and it does that, but you would just nick the wall and suddenly you're in the outside.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Like I think he was calling that um going up the hill, up into that corner. He was calling that Nintendo. Nintendo. Oh yeah. And then he had Sony was the final corner.

SPEAKER_06

Well, you think we should have called Pong. Right. Because that's what it was. That was that was Pong. Yeah, it was. Like you just ding, Pong into the into the wall. It was crazy. It was crazy.

SPEAKER_07

Shout out to uh PDX PK Sniper. Anyone got the settings for Blue Moon? I got the house for myself for a bit and do some testing. Yeah. He's dedicated. Right? I think like 13 days. Okay. Yeah. But you know, it's exciting.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. Definitely. Thank you, Joe. Really, really appreciate everything that you're I mean, everything that you've done for the podcast and coming on and fitting in. Yep. Like, that was like I uh it's nice to have people like that. But yeah, we know that those people are in our community. Yeah. You know. In our, you know, when I say our community, I mean this community that that the Dumb Guys do Racing podcast is, you know, uh broadcasting to. We have we have great people in this community. Yeah. We really do. Worldwide. And we're still looking, yes, we've got a full year, but we're still looking for donations because we've got, you know, we've got next year.

SPEAKER_03

Yep, next year.

SPEAKER_06

We've yep. And it's like maybe I don't know. Do we need to do a PBS fundraiser at the you know, towards the end of every subscriber here? No shit. 24 hour, 24 hour pod. Do a 24-hour pod, uh uh have entertainment, maybe do a 24-hour pod where we hop on and we have just lobbies of racing crazy races for 24 hours, and you get in them by having a donation. Yep. Donate, get the code.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, hop in, do some work.

SPEAKER_06

Dude, the ISO did a 24-hour race yesterday, too. The 24 hours of spa. Honestly, I would have loved to have done that.

SPEAKER_03

I know we need to figure that. The next thing we need to figure out is doing that, getting in one of those.

SPEAKER_06

Oh man, doing doing a 24-hour race is so difficult. Yeah, so difficult. But so fun. JK. So fun. Yeah, we need, yeah. That's it will it will test your limits.

SPEAKER_05

It will test your limits, basically.

SPEAKER_06

So that's that's what we need to do, is yeah, we have multiple two hours. Two hours. Guess what? Two hours is easier than three. Right. Yeah. Significantly easier. I know that sounds crazy, but man, that last hour, when you do a three-hour stint, you have no idea what's going on.

SPEAKER_03

I feel like my max as of right now.

SPEAKER_06

Go back and look for go back and look for our race that we did at Daytona. Look at my feed. I forget how many years ago that was. Look at my feed and look at my face. Just I you I don't I don't encourage people to look at my face, but at this point, look at my face and look at how I looked through the last of the six hours that I did totally. This, I'm done. Get the fuck out of this thing. Mike and somebody else was talking in the background. I had no idea what was going on. I'm just trying to keep the car on track. Like I would do like five laps and have no idea that I did five laps.

SPEAKER_03

Oh man. Oh man. See, I would need like an energy drink, a ghost or something. But then after that, oh what the fuck? I would have to pee. Jeez, that's a giant spider. Dude, giant spider just dropped from the ceiling. Oh no. Oh wait. I gotta kill it.

SPEAKER_07

You know. Yeah, those slow um refills for fuel and stuff like that. So you can get up out of your sub and go to the bathroom. But yeah, hats off to those guys that do the 24-hour nerve. Oh, yeah. Um, I cannot.

SPEAKER_06

That's wild. Hey, did I see that did I see that uh Jimmy Broadbent and um Steve and Misha and Misha, they they won?

SPEAKER_07

They did. That that was awesome. The only car in their class. Um yeah, and I think there's like maybe two or three cars in the class that they run or something like that, but yeah, they won, I believe. Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Um well, just again, finishing finishing a race, 24-hour race at the six hours. It was six hours. Well, that's why they won then. Because they have trouble with the 24-hour six hours. Oh my gosh. So hop in and do six hours at the Nerver Green. Just do an hour. Do three hours. Do three hours. Do three hours at the Nerver Green and see what that's like. It will kill you.

SPEAKER_05

Look at the races we've done in that nations and stuff that are like, you know, 45 an hour kind of. Yeah, five laps. And you're just whoa. Putting it on the edge for for multiple hours at a time is insane. There ain't no reset. That's you know. There isn't.

SPEAKER_07

And with them, there's multiple classes. So you have cars that are flying super slow. And but I mean, if you depending if you're in the highest class, but yeah, then you just have so much traffic you're fucking dealing with, too. Um it's just so there's cars everywhere on the track that you're dealing with, so your concentration level has to be top-notch fucking the whole time.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, have you seen the newest guys SRT? No. Yes, yeah. Um that's it's pretty funny. It's pretty funny. It's it's really funny. Yeah. What why is that P2 car passing me right there? Because you're slow and you need to realize that that's what he's gonna do. Fucking idiot.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. It's so he's the the guy does some really good videos. He's gotten better and better.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, guys, guys SRT on the YouTubes. Yeah, it's true. Oh, it's so funny. So funny.

SPEAKER_07

We should try getting him on and just figuring out the whole thing, like why he what happened between him and Keith. Yeah, yeah, we need to something there. It's been a lifelong grudge that he said to himself, I am going to fucking be your worst fucking nightmare. Or be your worst nightmare.

SPEAKER_06

You know, I you know, I was every chance I can. I was thinking maybe, you know, maybe LMU, if they do it correctly, will change what PD does. Yeah. If it if that if it drops and it's a good game right from the start, and even okay, I'm gonna say this and it's gonna piss everybody off on the podcast because we're elitists, but even if it's flat screen but it's done correctly, because you've got to remember that we are the you know, 0.01% of people that use the the PSVR in in-game, if that ninety-nine point nine nine percent of people that usually race Gran Turismo switch over and get into LMU, you know, because you have race cars that are updated, multi-class racing, like multi-multi-class racing, like you can have three classes on the track, three hour races with giant lobbies, dude. I mean, that's what I want to do. Same. That would be that's what I want to do, amazing, and I know that again, we as we as online players are, you know, 10%, 12% of the population who who raised Gran Turismo. We're really small. Yes. You know, we're we're really small. Yeah, that's why we're not a necessity to the you know well, maybe you know, maybe it wouldn't be as small if they had smarter races and cooler races, too. Yeah, because you know that dailies, they definitely they have to revamp the dailies, they've got to do that.

SPEAKER_07

I just again I think it's analytics, half the guys can't do group two, group one, streetcars, like they're set on group three, they're set on group four, their attention span is only for 15 or 20 minutes, they can't do endurance races like Monday, a daily D or a 40 45-minute race does fairly well, but by Wednesday, Thursday, it's fallen off.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, right because but let me let me ask you this though. Does it fall off because of racing standards or does it fall off because of length of base? Both, both. But what do you think the what do you think the major for me the major thing, this is just for me, it's racing standards. Because, you know, I mean, we're long race, we love long races. That's just who we are.

SPEAKER_07

We're also race fans.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, yeah, and that's you know, I think that's where you get into LMU and iRacing and a set of corsa, and most of the people that are driving on there are racers, they love racing, they love watching racing, they love being in racing. I think that's the difference in the demographic, too.

SPEAKER_07

Is any endurance race, you'll you'll look at the lobby, it starts with 16. By the time you win the race, there's fucking nine cars that fucking 15. Yeah, or whatever. Is that how I mean you got six, seven, eight guys? Yeah, you got six, seven, eight guys that are quitting DNFing because oh fuck it, man, my race. You know, and people just quit and shit. And they again, PD analytics, they see that, like, oh fuck, the DNFs are way up, you know, in this endurance race and this and that participation by day two or three is down 30% or whatever the number may be, and they take all that into consideration, people.

SPEAKER_06

And I think and I think it's bad, I think it's bad data. Because I think, you know, I I there are quite a few people that are probably quitting because they've wrecked. I think there are quite a few people that are pitting because they've been wrecked. So their data, their data is not their data is not pure. You know, they just see a quit. It's like I wonder if they just see a quit when their game crashes.

SPEAKER_07

You know, and maybe as is at the point where, yes, we are the casual racing game. You know, that's fine. There's the LMUs, the I racing, the ACCs, let the hardcores go there, and we're just more for the casual, you know, B C D lobby race.

SPEAKER_05

They would technically also take away from the World Series races, though. So they need to kind of keep interest, I would think.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, they should be doing special events on the weekends for us, for the races.

SPEAKER_06

There should be special events. I agree. Maybe do the race D. Yeah. Quotes, air quotes, race D on the weekends.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, start on the special events.

SPEAKER_07

Kind of thing. I I would just like kind of like again, the Toyota Cup, the Mazda thing. Like do special every Saturday, it's a 40 to 45 minute.

SPEAKER_05

Or Sunday too.

SPEAKER_07

Yep. I think Saturday night, I think you can get most people in.

SPEAKER_03

Have a full day of slots so everyone can do it. Just have a full day of slots. Yeah.

SPEAKER_07

You know Monday when the new dailies come out, alright, Saturday. This is the race, it's fucking you know, 25 laps at fucking spa in this type of car or group of car. You have all week to practice, and you know, you get three or four slots to do it, and you know, and then next week it's gonna be this race and just do that and so people can kind of prepare for an endurance race instead of trying to jump in and then lose an interest by Tuesday or Wednesday because they're not good at it or something like that. Because people are too fast, or you know, they have all week to practice.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, because then the daily people still do the dailies, and then the hardcore racer people are gonna practice for that kind of stuff, maybe do a few dailies. Yeah. If they're good.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah. Yeah, still mix it in, but yeah, be ready for Saturday, but gives you six days to prepare for an endurance race.

SPEAKER_06

Well, and I sort of agree with Sean that it should be, you know, you have ten slots. Ten slots for you know for people.

SPEAKER_07

Well, the thing I think they're afraid of that is because while Jim may be able to do it from 10 in the morning till 12 in the afternoon, you know, Mike's not gonna be able to do it until 7 or 9 at night. And so the parody, it's just gonna be so vast that you're not gonna be racing with your um people that are really, you know, in your group, yeah, per se. Well, minus you, and then people are gonna be discouraged because fuck, I just lost my 47 seconds, or I got fucking lapped, and you know, why why am I in with an A plus when I'm a fucking B driver? Because they can't get these lobbies, you know, situated and shit. So I feel like you have to kinda it sucks, but you do have to have it set at alright, it's this time, this time, and this time. Um, you gotta try to fucking make it, or get on another European account or Asian account and shit, and start at like four p.m.

SPEAKER_03

Fucking go from there like four four slots.

SPEAKER_07

Four yeah, yeah. I I I think four slots you could do on a Saturday instead of three, but you can't have time throughout the day or whatever. Um unless it's for group two or group three, then do it that way.

SPEAKER_06

But well, and and I'm really honestly, it's like, yeah, we want to do endurance races at the longer tracks, but you could do endurance races at any of the tracks, you know, any of the fucking however many tracks that we don't that we don't race on. Like again, how many tracks have never been used?

SPEAKER_03

Exactly. Like that track we just did. Dude, I've raced that track maybe once or twice. Yeah, the track we just did.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, and it was probably and it was what in single player.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

It's road cars. You know, that's that's an issue. That's a serious issue.

SPEAKER_07

There are some fake tracks that are really, really good in Grand Turismo that uh they could use a little more. But again, I I I think the tracks that are you know three, four miles, five miles long, people they can't it's too much for there's too many turns for the average fucking player, so you know they keep it to your grand bad or uh deep forest and trio mountains, and you know you got a long back stretch, couple turns, you know, another straight, one or two turns, and laps over with.

SPEAKER_06

I know we could do something crazy, but maybe maybe if we did longer races and stuff like that, people would learn how to drive.

SPEAKER_07

True. I know that sounds I know that sounds wild. It does. But then it also comes down that Sophie AI needs to be implemented on all the tracks for single-player views, so people their driving habits and racing habits get better. Yep. Again, I think with with the AI system contributes to the bad, dirty driving. So people just they get this thing that oh, I can plow and hit this car off the fucking racing line and I'm gonna be good. And then when they get into daily races, they implement that driving style because that's all they fucking know. Yeah, because that's how you've been that's how you've been trained. Yeah. It is, it is so if they can implement Sophie to all the races, it would be a good thing.

SPEAKER_05

Sophie would be a challenge to the average B C D.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, it would be an incredible challenge to the regular driver. So they would actually have to learn to drive properly and faster. Dude, Sophie 3 would Sophie 3 would infuriate any not good. I mean, it infuriates good drivers, believe me. Yeah, oh yeah, it makes it difficult for us not patting ourselves on the back, but we're pretty good drivers. And it's hard.

SPEAKER_07

Maybe they they yeah, they sum it down five percent, but something where it teaches these new players how to race properly. Well, they they have the racing etiquette video that always comes on. Half the people goes in one ear out the fucking other. They're just I want to get in and play this fucking game.

SPEAKER_06

And um well, I think that's you know, like ACC, when you hop in, you know, when you hop in, your your first races are gonna be against Sophie. And if you run into the cars, you get you get your safety rating taken away. You don't get a go to the you don't get a race until you learn how to race.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. It should your safety rating kind of thing, or whatever you want to call it, SR, it should be directly corresponding to your everything you do in the game.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. And if you drop below A, you can't be online. Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

I I don't I don't pardon me. Boy, sorry about that. Um, I agree. You know, you drop below A, you you don't get a race against anybody. Yeah. Until you bring it back. You get dropped back offline until you yep, until you bring it back up, you do not get a race against anybody.

SPEAKER_07

I I just And again, maybe with Kaz he he just thinks, well, there's other games like that, and he's okay losing those players to those games. Where he's just alright, we got two million users every month, and I you know that that's who he fucking caters to. The average BCD driver. And, you know, I'll always have those numbers, and I'm again content with that. You know, doesn't want to upgrade to the you know newest thing. He's just content where the game is at and the player base that he has.

SPEAKER_03

Yep, just like when we were talking about the businesses that don't want to upgrade their systems inventory because they're happy with if it, you know, ain't broke, don't fix kind of that's yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

But you can't just leave us hardcore people in the dark, man. Cater more to them than us. Well, again, we're such a small percentage.

SPEAKER_07

So to him it just doesn't make sense.

SPEAKER_03

And it's gonna get smaller because everyone keeps leaving.

SPEAKER_05

Well, it's the thing, if they are going numbers-wise, then they're gonna notice there's a there's uh an exodus, and it may hopefully maybe it ignites something a little fix or two.

SPEAKER_07

It it it doesn't, because i I think the numbers every year are the same. Like, yes, we lose this amount, but we gain this amount, so it's just a wash. You know, yeah, yeah, we lost, you know, uh seven percent of A plus drivers to whatever game it may be, but we gained fucking 14% or 10%, you know, C and D drivers, and it's it's just a wash.

SPEAKER_05

So the numbers stay the same and it's what's which is why they cater even in the World Series, they cater to the all-day events because of tier two and tier three, there's way, way, way more drivers. Right, yeah.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah. Yeah, there are. Again, I mean, you go to Digits Think and you look at the D ranking, how many drivers there are, how many C drivers there are. It it's mind-boggling, I think A plus there's only like ten thousand A plus drivers in the world that play this game. Very, very, very small when you're looking at you know, two million online racers, only you know, ten thousand of them are A plus and you know, there's like fifty S drivers.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Yeah, exactly.

SPEAKER_06

Well, it's very difficult to become an S driver too.

SPEAKER_03

That is very I don't even think it really happens anymore.

SPEAKER_05

Thirty-three S drivers. Okay, and how many, how many, what is there, like 10, 5? So there's so there's a there's 105, yeah. So with A and A plus together, there's 43,000 people approximately. Now there is 960,000 E drivers. Oh well that's C 500,000 and fucking D. That's a bad number, D. Wait, wait, Mike, go back and can you repeat D and uh So E E E is in it to misrepresent because that's just people maybe started and never played the game and remember kind of doing that. Yeah. Yeah. So D drivers, uh half a million. Okay. Quarter million C drivers, and then 167,000 B drivers.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

So yeah.

SPEAKER_07

So you add those three classes up, you know, you're just under a million, or you know, that's who they this game caters to. The AA plus driver.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, thanks, but fifty-nine percent of the player base is a SRB. Or worse. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

1.1 million. Yeah. Holy fuck.

SPEAKER_07

Again, there's only what's the same. You just look at the analytics and who's who. That's who they cater to. We care more about the DC driver than anybody else.

SPEAKER_03

450,000 are S.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. Oh, S safety? Well, that's the thing, is you look at S and A, so that that should be a number they look at as well. It's like there is a couple million players, and less than half of them are smooth drivers to be S area, even into the A for S R. You know what I mean? Like, that's pretty bad. You know, actually, it'd be closer to like a quarter. A quarter of the driver base would be good SR. That's throughout the whole that's throughout all the levels. You know what I mean? Like, because there's only four forty thousand people at ADR or better. So having a half a million, just over half a million kind of thing of S and A SRs. So there are some people trapped in there. You know, I mean, but you would be more like, hey, we have the majority of dirty drivers. They do. I mean, like that's a bad stat when you look at that.

SPEAKER_07

My my alt account, um again, racing from the back from E all the way to fucking E plus, and just going seeing people brake checking people purposely swerving into people, blocking, just brake checking, swerving into people and just awful not even race etiquette in lower lobbies, and it's everywhere. Like it happens all the friggin' time, and that's people's mentality in this game.

SPEAKER_06

Again, I think what is I think what's even more odd to me is you know, back when I was without a job and I was, you know, racing in a lot of B lobbies, the race etiquette is better in the B lobbies than it is in the A lobbies. A lot of the mistakes made in B lobbies are are skill-based. You don't see, yes, of course, you every so often you'd get that asshole that's just wrecking people off, but most of the incidences that I saw are skill-based incidences, you know, missing missing breaking points or or uh turning in too quickly or coming out and losing control, you know, not not like we see an A where it's intentionally wrecking somebody. And being you know being desperate. And again, I I and I will state this again, I think the desperation comes from points and how they're given and how they're taken.

SPEAKER_03

Yep.

SPEAKER_06

I think your points need to be based on where you're at in the lobby, where you're where you end up in the lobby, and it has to come down to things like when I'm in an all A plus lobby, if I finish 10th, I should not be losing points. Yeah. Guess what? Those guys that finish below me should probably be losing points. But me, no. And when Todd goes into a when Todd goes into one of those lobbies with a bunch of lower players and he, you know, finishes in first or second, he shouldn't be he shouldn't be gaining points, but he shouldn't be losing points either.

SPEAKER_03

Oh yeah, not at all.

SPEAKER_07

Well, um, so Catalunya, uh the first race, again, I think I started 15th, finished fifth, had a five-second penalty. I gained like 163 points. Or 140 points. It wasn't a lot, but I didn't lose DR. And then in the second race, I was 16th, the third, I gained like 533.

SPEAKER_06

Um and what was the makeup? What was the makeup of that lobby?

SPEAKER_07

Uh three, maybe four A plus drivers and the rest A. So that, you know, but at least I got like 500 points. At least gained a little bit. Um Yeah, yeah. Um, so to me that that was pretty good. Yeah, sometimes you can lose. Yeah, there there's lots of times I've gone from 16th to 5th and fucking lost DR. You know, so again, just depending on the strength of the lobby, it has a lot to do with it. So if you're in a lobby with a couple V drivers, you better be getting like if you're an A plus, you know, sixty, seventy thousand plus uh DR, you better be getting fucking podium.

SPEAKER_03

Oh yeah. You still get first and you probably still lose. You still only get a hundred points.

SPEAKER_07

It's either that. You're either getting a hundred points or you're losing ten or fifteen. It's not like huge, but um yeah. Either way, it's yeah, because I I'm like, oh, it's Thursday, you know, there should be, you know, the good racers on and shit like that. Yeah, it was just again 4A plus and the SA drivers and shit. But again, a lot of the can't handle that creep too far.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Yeah, beating a dead horse. That's what we are, yeah. Guys don't like high dime horse.

SPEAKER_06

Well, and yeah, and it's it's weird. It's weird. Oh, what what were you speaking of?

SPEAKER_05

I was gonna say, speaking of beating a dead horse, fucking rip repeats of fucking dailies. Uh yeah, they're not good. Yeah. Alright, so we got daily A this week. It's gonna be Monza on the sports softs, which is a repeat of I don't can't remember what it was, like the Lambo or something like that, one of those like VGT cars or something like that. Okay. Um I'm I'm pretty sure that's what it's gonna be. Um, Daily B is Red Bull Ring on the race mediums. Uh, I think it's gonna be the group four um because they've done that a million fucking times. And then because C is Tokyo Express East Clockwise race hards, but it's also another look like sprint because it's uh one times and one times.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_05

So it's like what is it?

SPEAKER_07

It's gonna be group four, maybe, or group three. I think they changed it. It is now gonna be group three, I think. Yeah. But with with no with no uh pitch strategy or anything.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. There's no mandatory for it or anything.

SPEAKER_06

It's just garbage. Just don't don't worry, don't do anything, don't do anything to make the races better. Like the like status quo is status quo, and that's j everything's just fine. Don't don't make the race better. Don't try to make dude. They who whoever is doing it is failing miserably.

SPEAKER_03

You're fired.

SPEAKER_07

Or at least GWS is the 15th of August. The 15th of August.

SPEAKER_03

Yep. Tokyo. Yeah. Yep. And then they made a big announcement, which after talking about that kind of stuff, is like, wow, they actually want to join PD and join the partnership. Moza's coming. Two million to fucking Grand Charismo and PlayStation, which is pretty badass. More options, more better options. They got a bunch of cool gear. They just released their motion uh stuff for it, for the cockpits and stuff. And they got the active pedal. Dude, that's pretty good for three grand. It looks pretty good. I know there's a few guys had a couple problems with some wires being pinched during manufacturing. Someone so a couple guys had to do some repairs. But um, oh yeah, it seems to be working. That's for sure.

SPEAKER_06

I mean, that would be crazy.

SPEAKER_07

That'd be so cool. Yeah, I think so. And then, yeah, PD had to make a statement that Fanatec is still the official partner, but we'll see. Maybe their contract runs out at the end of the day.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking.

SPEAKER_03

That's what I'm thinking. Because then that didn't that happen with Thrustmaster and Fanatec kind of thing? Same kind of thing happened. Yeah. And then Fanatec came in. And now they're gonna Moses' gonna be coming in. I wonder if they beat they probably won't use active pedals for the no, they'll use base all the base stuff.

SPEAKER_06

They use basic, yeah, they use all the base stuff, which would drive me nuts.

SPEAKER_07

Which is crazy, yeah. Like Banatech's the official sponsor. We're not using the best fucking stuff.

SPEAKER_03

Oh yeah, they should have the podiums, the D D plus I think they do use the D D D plus. They should add the podium pedals.

SPEAKER_06

They use the yep, they should be podium pedals or the you know, the V3s. But they don't they don't do that.

SPEAKER_07

And then yeah, I I think it should be then whatever wheel the driver likes. If you know they like uh they want a formula wheel or a round wheel, podium round wheel. Yeah, they should, yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Let them pick.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Well, and then guess guess what though? It it it advertises that product. It more, it does.

SPEAKER_07

Like, oh shit, my favorite driver uses this wheel and this. I I want to use that combo or something.

SPEAKER_03

Because I that that base wheel fucking sucks. I know the D D Plus Um Grand Trisma wheels a little bit higher end than the D D Pro wheel.

SPEAKER_06

Um, but still the D D Pro wheel is is yeah, that thing's garbage. Yeah, it's it's chips.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_07

It is.

SPEAKER_03

And so yeah, I would let them pick their wheel, you know, and let them let them choose, have a little bit more choice.

SPEAKER_07

Because they they get there a day before, so they can all have a fucking program to the system, whatever. They just it's quick release, put your wheel on, it's all set, and shit like that.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, exactly. Because yeah, they could say use that V3 or the endurance wheel. That'd be nice.

SPEAKER_06

Well, again though, again, we've got to look at their the show in LA. The opposite the opportunities to advertise were huge. Oh yeah. You know, a thousand people there, five hundred people, at least something like that. There's a show. It looks like five hundred. Plus it was, plus it was, you know, twelve. Well, it's a pretty big theater, too. Even if it's five hundred, you have the opportunity to televise at every at every event, you can go into the crowd and go, oh, this is the fan fest we're having, and you have all of these manufacturers. You're showing off the PSVR, you're showing off all the stuff the Fanatech has, you're showing off all the stuff that Moza has. You've got Dunlop, of course, and you've got this, and you've got that, and they all have booths. None. Why not why not? Why don't you do that? You know, why don't you do a best scapes picture? I'm sorry if if if that's what we're catering to, why isn't there a best scapes picture? You know, oh man, we've you know good. Uh you know, the the you you since you're doing it in in the United States, you do best escapes in the United States. Oh, you're gonna do it in Tokyo, do the best scapes in Tokyo, wherever you're at in the world. Yeah, you can have a lot of showcases.

SPEAKER_07

That's and you let the player base vote for it.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. And you let the player base vote for it, yeah. Best liveries from that area. That you know, I mean, we had we had car making it into the car making it into the game, you know, at at LA. Hopefully. Why don't we have yeah, why don't we have a this is the best livery? It's given, you know, at the end of the at the end of the GT World Challenge. Sorry, the Gran Turismo uh World Series. You know, and then that's something you get on on a car. You get that livery, or you know, or they use it for nations. Or they use it for nations, or they do something along those lines. Jesus, why aren't we working for them?

SPEAKER_03

They should be paying us. Got a lot of good ideas, PD. We have a lot of good ideas. Well, I'm curious to see if that's why we are PD extreme. That's right. That's right. With Mozart coming in, I'm kind of scared. I love that dog is gonna do with the wheel because they're gonna be developing a Grand Turismo wheel, just like Fanatech did and Thrustmaster did. So let's just hope it's better than the previous.

SPEAKER_05

I just looked and I compared the R12 bundle you can get for I don't know if it's compatible, but it's like one of their higher-end bundles. It's probably close to like the DD Plus kind of DD Pro kind of or embedded because it's 12 newton meter, is a thousand dollars Canadian. Pedals and everything included. The closest price point that for Fanatech for in Canada for me is the 5 Newton. Oh shit, okay.

SPEAKER_06

Well, the equal price point.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. Okay. And if I even want to get close to the power levels, it's two grand or more.

SPEAKER_07

Well, I think Moses' base is six newton meters and it's three ninety-nine or four ninety-nine American.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

So even if we go down to they have a three that's three point nine. Yeah. It's a bundle. R3 racing bundle, three point nine newton meters, is three ninety-nine. Oh, yeah, that's a great start. You know what I mean? Like they have a a bundle of the six newton meter bundle. Pedals and wheel, everything. 549 Canadian. Oh wow. It's like half the price of a Fantex 5. It is.

SPEAKER_07

They're trying to fucking come in and take over.

SPEAKER_05

Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_07

Um I'm excited. Yeah. So am I. I I think it's only gonna, you know, snap Thrustmaster, Logitech, Manitec, like shit, man. If we wanna, you know, maintain our sales and we we gotta put out a better product at a better price.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, you got Thrustmaster T is at the bottom of the barrel right now. And it's gonna stay there, that's for sure. You got Logitech for the U.S. Yeah, unless they get their shit together. Moz is gonna come. Because even Moza, their um their active pedal with a throttle, dude. I think it's like $7.99 US with an active pedal. And then that new Pokemon at that fucking price. And that's not active.

SPEAKER_06

Well, I'm sorry, and and have they actually dropped yet? Or are they just still talking about it?

SPEAKER_03

No, they're just talking about it. It's gonna be like a full, they just dropped like a small announcement online on the socials, and then at this live event coming up, I bet it's the big reveal. It'll be yeah, talking about how Moses joining Grand Trismo. No, no, no, I'm talking about the podium pedals. They actually in the UF, we cannot purchase them yet. It's only learnabout when you go to the website, you look at the pedals, learn about. You can't pre-order, you can't purchase. So I don't know what's going on with those because those were supposed to be on sale, and then the three pedal bundle is supposed to be coming out later this year. So I don't know if they had to hold back if they started uh experiencing issues or some quality. Probably did in production. Yeah. So I don't know if that would be my guess. Cut it and had to send product back because yeah, they got announced.

SPEAKER_07

I I'm sure they're building product, they pull, you know, every tenth or eleventh off and doing testing, and the shit wasn't just holding up, so they had to halt.

SPEAKER_03

Especially at that point.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, yeah. And again, from what they did in 2020 and 2021, 2022, they can't go back to that. So of course they were you know beyond time. Put a halt and like no. Yeah, we gotta get this ship.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, because I I mean I love my fan of tech stuff, and I just did the update full force, and dude, that shit feels good. So if you haven't updated yet, they put the patch out for what was broken when they first did the update, and I just did the update, and boy, does it feel good. It feels real good. Alright. Yeah, it's it's got some juice to it. Dude, it's stronger. Yeah, the peak holds a lot longer. That's for sure.

SPEAKER_06

I gotta I gotta download it.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, it's it's good. So, yeah, everyone out there, if you haven't done it yet, all right. Time is now. I would do it, feel it out. Just make sure your app is updated to the newest um uh newest version of the app, because I think I had 4.5 on my computer and the newest one's like 5.3. So I had to update that. And at first, too, I would check for to make sure the app was up to date and it was saying it was when it wasn't. So I had to go into Fanatech's website, and when I did that, and then went back to the app and did it again, then it recognized there was a newer version of the app. So then once I did that, then I downloaded the update, and that's when I got it. So yeah, you gotta make sure your app version is shit. It's kind of a pain in the ass. It took me at least 45 minutes to do it all. To figure out what's going on.

SPEAKER_06

Just like what would happen to poor Todd? Oh, geez.

SPEAKER_03

Well, yeah, because I I thought the app version was up to date, so I downloaded there was an update for it, so I downloaded it and then plugged it all back in and was playing. I'm like, dude, this isn't right. This feels like shit. Yeah. And then then I went.

SPEAKER_07

Oh, it's all worse?

SPEAKER_03

Oh, yeah. So then I went to Fanatech's website, looked at the app version, and it was different, and I was like, and then I went and looked at mine, and I was like, what the fuck? And then so I went to go check again, and then it updated the app, and then the newest update for the base was available. So then I had to do it again.

SPEAKER_05

So be diligent, do your due digital. Yep. You have to get your updates to do an update of an update. Yep.

SPEAKER_03

Updates on updates, that's for sure. Oh, yeah, dude, I was pissed in the beginning. I was like, dude, what the fuck? Said it was gonna be on it, shit, ain't.

SPEAKER_07

So what are you feeling more curbs, more bombs?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, that those do come through, but supposedly, um is it not implemented in the game yet? Full force? I thought it was. But I thought Sweet Cherry says it wasn't. Or it isn't for the pro. I mean, I feel it. I have it turned the full force turn to 45. Um I feel like I could feel the road a lot more, over steer a lot more, understeer, um the curbs, you can really feel it. Um yeah, and just the force in general's a lot stronger. It holds. So it's it's wild. It feels a lot different than the previous.

SPEAKER_07

So I think a response.

SPEAKER_05

So it is it is in the game. The full force features are implemented in the physics of the game. Originally only with the DD Pro and the GT Extreme package. Or the D D Plus in the Extreme package, but now it has been updated to the pros and everything else. So it's actually in the game, so whatever c wheel bases that have the update for it will now work with it. Okay, so yeah, it does work. So yeah.

SPEAKER_03

All the feelings are there then. What I was feeling. So Yeah, I turned it to uh and I think too they fixed it. Cause you know how RL was saying if someone didn't know what they were looking for, they'd almost feel like their wheel was broken because of all the chattering. I want to see even Bell's when he first updated. He talked uh he had to turn it way down just because you get so much vibration in the wheel all the time. I think they kind of fixed that too, because I wasn't feeling that. And even at because I want to see. So it's all peak. And in the game it was at ten and ten. Um but after the update, I actually had to turn it down, and I think I'm at eight and nine now. See, I think I'm at like three and three now.

SPEAKER_07

Jesus.

SPEAKER_06

Well, that's because of your age, Todd.

SPEAKER_02

It hurts my own.

SPEAKER_03

There's some cars that you have to turn it down.

SPEAKER_05

Like the red.

SPEAKER_03

I turned it down, but then how do you turn it down?

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, group three and feel some shit.

SPEAKER_03

Because I know a lot of those real, real fast guys and the World Series guys, their shit's turned down to where you get like one in one. They don't feel nothing, so it's a lot easier to fucking do shit.

SPEAKER_06

But I want to feel like I'm driving.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, yeah, especially when you have your headset on. Yeah, you feel you feel all the everything in the road. The grass, the slip, everything.

SPEAKER_05

It gives you the that like that almost a false G force is because you feel the car pulling and pushing and that and the and the grip strength and stuff. So it's yeah, they don't because it gives you I guess it would give you a technically faster reaction time because you don't have to fight the force. Yeah, exactly. You know what I mean? But it's at the same time, it doesn't give you quite as precise, I find. So you maybe you're a little slower on your reaction, but you're a little bit more precise, I would say, because you feel exactly what's going on. You know when the car goes.

SPEAKER_03

If you're not gonna go, like you don't feel some grip and that ass end's coming out, you you know.

SPEAKER_05

You can feel it. Not to say the heavier it is, but to say the kind of the with the heaviness in there, I I I have so much more car control. You know what I mean? And that and that that that I would rather have than just to be like, Yeah, if it's too loose, I feel skewed. It's uh might as well be playing like an arcade game kind of thing. Yeah, I mean, like you know, need for speed where there is no feel, like you it's just floating around, spinning the wheel back and forth like uh you know 1980 wheel. You know, like you know, where there is no where you got your rubber bands, yeah. Yeah, exactly. You know, and when you snap those, the cut the wheel just goes wherever.

SPEAKER_03

Crank that shit up, crank it up. Especially when with the big uh Porsche round wheel. Yeah, crank that motherfucker up.

SPEAKER_02

Feels good.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, I'm always playing in between the Porsche wheel or the the my round wheel and my um and my formula wheel, I'm always yeah, because yeah, with formula wheel. I'm always changing settings because the formula wheel is is so light.

SPEAKER_03

Yes. Yeah, you get a lot of jitters in that thing if it's too high.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

But yeah, man. Mine's pretty good. It's it's working. So download the update. Mose is coming. I'm excited for that. But on the grand scheme of things, I'm like, dude, I got my setup, I got all my stuff, it works really well. I can't.

SPEAKER_05

I don't think anybody should be jumping jumping ship. I think you hold, you wait for a year or two and see if there's gonna be bugs, there's gonna be glitch.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, right.

unknown

Right.

SPEAKER_05

Because I I have a feeling there's only gonna be the one specific base that's even gonna be compatible.

SPEAKER_03

Yes, yep.

SPEAKER_05

Even look at Fantech. Even Fantech is still trying to get all as much as their stuff compatible with PlayStation. Like half of it doesn't work.

SPEAKER_02

Dude, they got some.

SPEAKER_05

You know, so you gotta be, you really have to be watched. So I think Moes will be in the same boat, very, very limited, you know, base wheel or base uh pedals, like just like the CSL pedals. That's pretty much it with the the R5 or R7, I think it is, somewhere around there. I think that's what it's supposed to be, and then a specific wheel. So that they can have the cut the the play like Sony and PlayStation wheel uh button configuration. But yeah, it's gonna be very limited for a long time, I think, and I still think there'll be some bugs.

SPEAKER_04

Oh yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_05

I I hope everything goes smooth, but for whatever reason, I think there's gonna be some some some issues.

SPEAKER_03

There will be. But once they get it. There are we got some hiccups. And once they figure it out, oh shit, look out. Look out.

SPEAKER_07

Moses seems to be on top of things.

SPEAKER_03

They are and that active pedal is that's what I want to try the most. I want to feel that. 1400 Canadian for the pedal set.

SPEAKER_05

Which technically is not.

SPEAKER_07

So if anything, wait wait till TTA to to switch, if anything. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Watch the launch. Unless you got thrustmaster.

SPEAKER_03

If you got thrust master, then you you can start thinking, okay, well, let's wait until this comes out, because maybe I go to that. But if you got a Logitech or Fanatech set up, I would just hold. Hold and wait.

SPEAKER_05

They're pretty much the smoothest of everything in in compatibility right now, and I would just wait with that for now. So Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Cause Shred was talking about his how he's been having troubles and he's Thrustmaster, correct? Yeah, he was he had a bad cable. That's why his all his shit was messing up. So he got a new cable.

SPEAKER_07

Well that happened to um just Ward, he had a bad cable from fan attack. Yeah, that'll mess everything up.

SPEAKER_03

Dude, I'll tell you, I used to have the interminute uh shutoffs where it would just cycle out and shit wouldn't you'd lose everything. And um I believe it's the port on the back of the base, dude. Once I straightened out my cords and got 'em fixed to where they don't move and jiggle around, I haven't had any of that ever happen again. Because it used to like come out and hang to the side, it was loose and just kind of dangling. And it would that would happen. And then yeah, once I kind of fixed everything, zip tied shit down, got it straight in, straight out, zip tied so it's not moving around. Yeah, I haven't had any problems.

SPEAKER_05

Well, I did that straight away when I got my pro because uh with the CSL leap base there, that was what was happening, and it was just it weakened the connection. Yeah, and so when I got this, everything is strapped, nothing moves. There's no real excess. I'm not gonna catch it climbing in and out or anything like that. Everything is perfect out of the way. You know, anywhere it can catch ain't gonna damage anything because it there's multiple zaps and and and and tie-downs in between those areas where it's a little looser to give access, but yeah, no, I'm not taking no chances. Right?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, exactly. Because yeah, you plug it in, it's like it's just a cord, it's just gonna dangle. It shouldn't do anything, it's working. And then yeah, you get all the vibrations and the force feedback and shit shaking around and yeah, and shit starts shutting off, or yeah, you just cable.

SPEAKER_06

I never have my cables dangling.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Like from the first time I got them, I made sure everything was was zip tied down or tightened down in a way. And I've got uh I actually have um like cord sleeves that go around all of my everything. Yep, say everything that I had, it just cleans things up. It just cleans everything up, makes it nice and and pretty.

SPEAKER_05

I don't I don't I don't have a cord sleeve in my my my my cable's too short to dangle. Oh well!
