In this episode we continue walking through the Book of Acts, covering chapters 3 and 4.

This is where things really start to shift. We see the first public miracle through the disciples, and it opens the door for the gospel to be preached boldly in a new way.

We talk through the moment Peter heals the man at the gate, what that actually meant, and how it led to him preaching directly to the crowd about Jesus. We also get into the pushback that follows — the disciples being questioned, threatened, and still choosing to stand firm.

We also spend time talking about boldness — what it looked like for them, and what it could look like in our lives today.

In this conversation we walk through:

  • The healing of the man at the gate
  • Peter’s message to the crowd
  • The beginning of opposition from religious leaders
  • What real boldness looks like
  • The early church praying for courage, not comfort

Like always, this is just us learning as we go — talking through Scripture, asking questions, and trying to understand it more deeply together.

If you’ve been following along with us in Acts, this is where things start to get real.
