Podcast 23: Understanding the Bible

“Oh ya, I know I can read and understand the Bible, even though it was written a couple thousand years ago. I don’t need the minister to lecture me on what the Bible says, after all I can read it myself; when I get the time and desire to read it.” I think that time is called the twelfth of never. It should be your hearts’ desire to grow in the understanding of true Christianity and to put the messages of the Bible into your daily practice and that will come with a good understanding of what it says to the people of that time and how it can be applied to our lives today.

This podcast will give an example of how sometimes it’s not easy to fully understand how a Biblical passage is truly applicable to your life today and hopefully this will encourage you to seek out wisdom on a daily basis.
