This week on “Learning To Bet On Yourself”, I share some insight on the area of my life in which I have always bet on myself the most up to this point, and that is through my professional life and working career. I share a few different stories with you all this week about the many roads my working life has taken me since I started my first job at 16 years old working for $5.15 an hour at the McDonald’s. I’ll be talking about how some of the early experiences of my 20s impacted my motivation for working hard, my best advice on handling job interviews and how many I’ve been on (hint: it’s A LOT), and give some additional insight into a method called the GROW Model and how it can be used to map out the next steps towards the pursuit of a new pathway in your career.
