Arsenal surprised us all with a historic masterclass, thrashing PSV Eindhoven 7-1 in the Champions League round of 16, marking their largest-ever away win in European competition. The Gunners’ blistering attack and tactical precision left the Philips Stadion stunned, securing a commanding advantage ahead of the second leg.  

 PSV briefly threatened to gain some ground after a converted penalty. But Arsenal’s response was ferocious. Ethan Nwaneri joined the blitz-party with a thunderous strike, following the lead from Timber's header. Mikel Merino, capped the first-half rout by pouncing on a defensive error to slot his home.  

Second half  Arsenal shifted gears,  Ødegaard netting a brace—including a 25-yard rocket—and Leandro Trossard tapping in a rebound.  Calafiori added the seventh, while PSV’s Ivan Perisic rattled the woodwork in a rare moment of defiance. Myles Lewis-Skelly’s aggressive tackle earned a yellow, a reminder of the fine line between intensity and recklessness.
